some people in the osc lowkey have a superiority complex about liking rarepairs as opposed to the big "mainstream" pairings and it's weird as hell I'm gonna be honest. 

hating on popular ships and calling people "basic" and "boring" for enjoying them doesn't make you cool and unique, I think you're just an asshole. 

"fireafy? fantube? coinpin? silvercandle? tengolf? it's like if plain unseasoned white bread was a ship *clash royale laughing sound effect*☝️🤓"

like oh yeah you're right!!! instead of actually getting screentime and interesting arcs together, every relationship should be between characters who have never interacted and have no fanart or fanfics or canon content or anything!! 

and I wanna make it clear that I'm NOT hating on rarepairs, but good god I just wish that the osc wasn't so fucking bitter and miserable when it came to ships. literally no other fandom I'm in is like this 😭😭😭
