Summary: Aigis was created as a anti-shadow weapon. When she was first activated, she attempted to defeat DEATH, the Shadow that would call upon the Fall. She was unable to do that, instead sealing him inside of a nearby child. That child grew up to become a Persona User and join SEES.

While in Yakushima, Aigis sensed the presence of death and activated and found the Protagonist. From there, she pledged to watch over him. She did not remember the events of her previous time activated.

Eventually, after Ryoji Mochizuki appeared, Aigis remembered the events before. She attempted to kill Ryoji, knowing that he was Death. She failed again and feared death for the first time. After this, she became more human and began to feel and act more human.

After the final battle, Aigis remembered the events of the game first and realized the protagonist was going to disappear. They went to the roof together where she swore to protect them. And he died in her arms while she shed tears.

Later, Aigis would also awaken to the Fool arcana and inherit the wild card ability from the Protagonist. But for now I am not using and of that in this account until the answer is re-released and I can play it as an adult that isn't as uhhhhhh. Biased.
