What are YOUR favorite Project Diva music videos?
Sorry I left this unanswered for so long! I wanted to wait until the end of the bracket to answer this.
Funnily enough, Tokyo Teddy Bear is in my top three favorite videos. My other top three are Ashes to Ashes and Break It, Break It! I love all of them because they're so intricate and tell the stories of the songs fantastically. They're incredibly immersive videos.
Some of my other favorite music videos in Project Diva are Systematic Love, Dream-Eating Monochrome Baku, Black Rock Shooter, Out of Eden, Megane, Fire Flower, Lovers Suicide Oblivion, Unhappy Refrain, Cantarella ~ Grace Edition ~, and Kagamine Hachi Hachi Flower Fight. They're all amazing, and many in different ways. Black Rock Shooter, Cantarella ~ Grace Edition ~, Lovers Suicide Oblivion, and Fire Flower because they beautifully tell the story; Systematic Love, Out of Eden, Dream-Eating Monochrome Baku, Megane, and Kagamine Hachi Hachi Flower Fight all have very interesting and fun videos to me (even if Systematic Love and Dream-Eating Monochrome Baku are just dance videos, they're still quite fun to me. I love the whole computer thing and the way Miku moves around for the Systematic Love video, and I love how Len dances on a street corner with a cane; it's just so whimsical!).
I'm actually quite fond of quite a few of the original Project Diva videos. The Hata Aki songs all had very charming videos in their own way, but I especially like the Velvet Arabesque and Updating My Love List videos. The original Project Diva videos had a kind of charm and energy to them that I just adore. And sure, they're not the most amazing videos in the series, but I love them nonetheless.
Thank you for the question! I appreciate your patience 🩵

ZAQ's musical influence on the anime industry.
ZAQ is a J-pop and J-rock singer and songwriter, defining herself on her blog as an “anime song artist.” She was born in 1988 and began studying piano at a very young age, graduating from a music school, focusing mainly on classical music, but also being influenced by pop, rock, hip-hop, and other genres.
Tumblr media
ZAQ made his musical debut in 2012 with the opening theme song “Sparkling daydream” for “Chunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai!”, which was a hit with both the anime and the theme song. He also created and performed the ending theme song “INSIDE IDENTITY” and the opening theme song for the 2nd season “VOICE”, as well as composing (but not performing) the second ending theme song for the series.
Tumblr media
This artist is also recognized for the openings “Seven Doors” and “Last Proof” for the anime and film “Trinity seven”, the opening 4 of “Shokugeki no soma” called “BRAVER”. Another of her most valued works are the openings of the three seasons of “Classroom of the elite”, which have given her quite a bit of recognition in recent years.
Tumblr media
She has also composed many songs for various anime (without performing them), some of the most notable ones are: both ending themes for the anime “Hibike! Euphonium”, “ギターと孤独と蒼い惑星” for the anime “Bocchi the Rock”, among many others. But my favorite composition (without performing) is “Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari”, the ending theme for the movie “Love Live: School Idol Project” (first generation), which is a beautiful song, with a very nice melody that perfectly accompanies the lyrics of Aki Hata (Love Live's greatest lyricist), which gives a perfect closing to the generation of µ's.
Tumblr media
To conclude, I recommend and invite you to listen to this artist, she has an extensive catalog of very good songs from different musical styles. In February 2024, ZAQ gave a concert in Chile, at the “AEX EXPO” Santiago, which I was fortunate to attend. I can tell you from first-hand sources that she is an impressive singer.
