was in the kitchen lounge of my dorm making dinner and another girl came in to work on a paper and we ended up chatting about music when i was washing dishes and she was like at some point you gotta give me recommendations for classical music so i can get into it more. anyway now she's listening to the new world symphony

#i WIN at convincing people that classical music is worth listening and not too intellectual or elitist to be enjoyed by untrained ears #and is actually more accessible than it seems to be on its face. and also giving people recommendations for good stuff to start with #aka new world symphony the BEST symphony don't FUCKIN @ me #dvorak 9 isn't even a symphony to me she's like a brother.#personal W anytime i can get someone to listen to dvorak 9 and/or give classical music /opera a chance in general #sasha speaks
