jameson said to leave the rest of the bugle staff outta this, he’s only interested in parker.    the reminding thought feels like a sticky note barely hanging onto the back of his mind, and with a glance at his watch   ( and the realization that jameson probably wouldn’t be back in the office for another hour )    metaphorical parchment is lost to the depths, accompanied by his better judgement.    ❝  y’know, miss brant,  ❞    the wheels of jonah’s chair squeak with his weight as he pushes back from the desk, taking a second to rolls his shoulders before he stands, sauntering towards the door,    ❝  seems it’ll still be a good while until mr. jameson makes an appearance ‘round here but uh, if yer’ not too busy at the moment, there’s this cute little falafel place just a few blocks from here — my treat, of course.  ❞
