tbh it's quite funny sad that it's not the law stopping tesilid from chasing ailette but just his self-esteem. but then i suppose they could always just have an extra-marital relationship, why not, pshh who cares about the spirit of the law, certainly not them they break rules without batting an eye. (although ailette does still think that tesilid is lawful good.)

but anyway i was gg to say that if Ash is unrespectable enough maybe the vatican will be like "yeah sir tesilid is the better of two bad options" but 😔 yeah i don't think they'll go as far as to change the law, especially when they love bullying tesilid so much. no way they'd elevate tesilid's status by letting him marry the saint. and they can just try to set her up with another person like, idk, clovis or smthing.

tldr ailette should take the henry VIII route and set up a new church where sacred sheep are also allowed to marry 👍
