#ah also i forgot to mention in tags b4 but wore suit and managed to tie a tie for first time this morning and it was interesting#like def gave confidence for interview but also not used to being that fancy#also riding the train in it(tho thankfully there werent that many ppl since it was past the morning rush when i got off the intercampus#shuttle and same for the way train rides back)#my bank account is gonna be crying next month probs if i dont find a person to take over my housemates' rent when they go to socal tho#and i rlly need to be saving as much money as i can for postgraduation#i dont regret getting the suit tho since every other masc person was wearing one at the interview place and im just short enough where there#was no way i could have rented one that wouldnt have been too long on me#plus i'll probs use it again for other job things#just...not very often...which im both grateful for(bc ties r uncomfortable and i dont like standing out like i did also felt bit weird#wearing something that fancy also idk what i would do if i had to clean it often since i cant clean those things with my normal clothes#since those arent delicates like the nonjacket things are and usually cant be dried in the dryer and have to be ironed which is a lot#especially since i have to use quarters to wash and dry things) but also dont like that it cost so much but get to use it so little#i looked at college tuition loans again and died a little tho#like sure i get most of tuition covered by grants but still have a decent amount of loans there that will eventually have to get paid off#once i graduate in spring and if i get the job im applying to they recomment setting aside a sizable amount for the first month b4 pay kicks#in and my parents' bdays r both in the end of august and i would be leaving in early august if i get in but theyre turning 50 and also#most likely would have to bring cats after orientation or bring someone with me during orientation to help watch cats while at orientation#and that costs money also#but if i dont get in then i have to worry abt finding another job#and just oof#i should sleep soon
