FrUk Roommates headcanons (Part 1)

All the names are from the source below

Not all of these headcanons are FrUk related but they end up happening in the apartment/house.

Also I know Northen Ireland and the R.O.I are different contries. Many people in Northern Ireland tend to have family in the republic. That's why that one headcanon is there!

- Francis and Arthur sharing an apartment/house because of financial benefit.

- Francis stealing Arthur’s Netflix account password on the TV and adding his own profile.

- Arthur at first giving out to him, yet he never deleted the account.

- Arthur only being allowed to cook on Wednesdays, Francis cooking every other day, and on Sunday they get takeout.

- Arthur’s brothers and half-brother visiting on Thursdays, and comes when Arthur isn’t home, so the first time they saw Francis, Arthur never told them about Francis and they immediately thought he was a burglar. cooking cuisine in the kitchen.

- Arthur ends up coming home to Francis, Allistor, Reuben and Alory sharing stories about him.

- Francis constantly tries to get Arthur to wear his clothes.

- Arthur’s nephews and niece (Jett, Dwight and Wendy) come to visit once every few months, and Francis has to sleep in Arthur’s room with him or go to a friend's house.

- When the Eurovision is on, they make bets over who’ll get more points, UK or France.

- Sometimes Jett comes, so he’s not lonely during Eurovision week. If it’s just him coming, Francis can sleep on the couch.

- In Ireland's semi-final, Alory only talks to his half brother on the other side, and if they get in the final barge into Arthur’s house.

- During the Eurovision final, there tends to be a big enough party held in their house, in which only countries who can vote can come, so there tends to be at least thirty people at the party.

- Arthur finding out Francis’ biggest fear and it’s something uncommon (which Arthur thinks is stupid) and teases him about it.

- Arthur, after doing that to Francis, literally screams at Francis to get the spiders out of the shower/bathroom.

- Lukas and Vladimir coming over once a fortnight and drink tea and talk to magic folk.

- Francis not telling Gilbert and Antonio he was rooming with Arthur for a month. When they eventually found out and although they were pretty chill about it, Antonio said something along the lines of “him, seriously? You do you, he’s kinda stuck up though.” It was all in a joke but Francis tries his hardest not to let them in the house/apartment.

- Arthur actually doing work and Francis being somewhat like a housewife

- Francis’ sister Gianna, always bringing tea mugs when visiting, as a reward for Arthur putting up with him

- Alfred barging into Arthur’s house (he, like Arthur’s brothers have a key for emergencies) only to find Francis watching a British kid show like ”Horrible Histories” or something and Alfred immediately thinks they’re dating and spreads rumors.

- Francis buying literal junk from tourist traps, so their fridge is filled with magnets and Francis has a snow globe collection.

- Arthur has a mug collection.

- Both Jett and Alfred bring rubber ducks as a present so they have a joint collection of rubber ducks, AND I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T LEAVE THE BRITISH DOOK ALONE FRANCIS-

- Arthur has a sword, he paid hundreds of pounds on, above his bedroom door. •• It was an old pirate sword from an actual pirate, Arthur’s dream as a child.

- Taking turns to be the designated driver with a sheet of paper listing when each person is the driver.

-Francis sleeping butt naked and often forgetting to put pants on in the morning, causing Arthur to give out to him, and complain about how he feels like throwing up.

-Arthur having 20 alarms in the morning cause he’ll just go back to sleep again.

-Francis trying to prank Arthur (a dare from Gil) while he was showering and discovering a lot of hidden tattoos.

- Both Arthur and Francis have found the others diary/diaries, but both never read because they both respect eachother.

- One day, Antonio going to the house and calling for Francis and Arthur answers the door and explains to him that Francis will be back soon and inviting Antonio inside. Antonio spots the sword and when he came back, Arthur and Antonio ranting to each other about the Age Of Exploration.

merrit is the only child of the young hornsby couple. she doesn’t remember much of her childhood, according to her grandma, she was the happiest kid. had everything she could ever ask for and more. 

the reason why merrit can’t remember any of this is the beginning of a tragedy — a stormy december night, she and her parents went missing. grandma says they were gone for over five months. a kidnapping case gone cold, they thought. right when the old couple was giving up on them, an angel from above delivered antonia to their door step. malnourished, void of any memory but alive.

life after losing her parents was easier than expected, grandma hornsby ( nee du pont ) made sure merrit would recover from this without any trauma & in a way, she did.

doesn’t have the best relationship with her grandpa, he’s harsh and cranky and too smart for his own good, merrit is lowkey afraid of him lmfao 

she’s currently studying architecture — her dream major was interior design but grandpa encouraged her to pursue architecture to follow her father’s footsteps.  kinda made sense because she’s fascinated by houses .. in reality the insides, the families living there are the real source of interest for her but she’s happy to settle for outside for now gshdjkf

UPDATE ! i’ve realised that by hiding her secret, i also unintentionally hid a big portion of her personality and she comes across as the typical, soft & gentle soul. don’t get me wrong, she is indeed gentle and soft but she’s also volatile and deceitful !
