"it's like penguins. penguins, in nature, when one is sick, or when one is very injured, the other penguins surround it and prop it up. they walk around it until that penguin can walk on it's own. that's kind of what the cast did for me." — matthew perry about his fellow friends.

it is not controversial to say that if you cannot finacially, emotionally provide for a child and/or your genetics would lead to them suffering then you should not have said child.

I’ve seen some people call others online “parasocial” for being sad about/grieving liam payne’s death. and I’m just thinking…there’s nothing inherently wrong with being parasocial. there’s nothing inherently wrong about caring about people you haven’t met. there’s nothing morally or ethically wrong with feeling connected to a celebrity. in fact, I think it shows how much we as humans are capable of connection and empathy, and how we as a species are meant to be social and to love each other, that people feel this connected and sad over someone they didn’t know personally. it’s never wrong to care about people. people using the “parasocial” thing to shame others for their feelings regarding a tragic and shocking death are inconsiderate

Complain about booktok all you want but the self righteous AUDACITY you have to have to diagnose strangers on the internet with an addiction is ridiculous. I highly doubt that you, oh so pompous moral crusader against booktok, have the qualifications and knowledge to officially provide a diagnosis for anyone but you sure as hell have the qualifications to be an asshole and trivialize something like addictions.

Yeah I mean he was not a good person but I think a lot of it can be linked to how they were treated and these are things that can and should be changed for the sake of celebrities and everyone around them
agreed. it feels like we have this conversation every few years and nothing changes. you sign up to sing on a talent show one day when you're 14 and suddenly you're one of the most famous people in the world with access to everything and no idea how to handle any of it. that's not normal and it's not healthy for anyone involved

I watched the first ten seasons of "Bones" and enjoyed it SO MUCH, but then suddenly in the last couple seasons, the writers totally changed. They seemed to enjoy inflicting unreasonable pain on the characters a little too often. This is a FUNNY show with OCCASIONAL seriousness. But then, in the end, it gets all weird with these abrupt character deaths, or characters making progress toward happiness and self-betterment only to then experience some horrible loss/trauma in a deus ex machina, which ruins everything. I hate it! Anyway, now I can't watch anymore. It's too depressing. I need a new goofy, comedic police procedural with a love story that I can marathon while doing laundry or else I will cry
