I wish more characters had storylines which were influenced by Adam’s death. It feels like Drew was the only character who grieved him for more than a couple of episodes. I know Eli was less of a regular character in season 13 but you cannot tell me the death of his best friend wouldn’t have severely impacted his mental health. Maya and Zig would have been affected due to being in a band with him and the fact that they had only recently lost cam too (I know Adam’s death was mentioned in Maya’s depression story but it would have been cool to see earlier on) if Dave had stayed on the show it would have been a good storyline for him too. Even Tristan would have been a good story with them working on the school play together and Adam being a sort of lgbt mentor for him, it might have been a cool storyline of queer grief and loss of community.
