decided that i wanted to describe whats planned to happen next for fun. it isnt actually written, just a list of the next plot points, so basically the loose outline

under the cut for the same content warnings as the content already shared

-After tests, kusuo is ready to be turned back. the scene ends with kusuo saying "give me a few more minutes" and doesnt depict the transformation back

-A week later, kuusuke goes to feed his rats and finds the dragon one turned back into a dragon without him doing so, and its dead from the shock of it. he considers, worried, that the serum wasn't strong enough to kill all the mutagens, and so the surviving ones multiplied until they could force the transformation back again

-He mentions off hand to kusuo to be sure to tell him if he feels odd or sick, and brushes it off as him wanting to be safe even though nothing has happened at all

-Two days later, kuusuke is awoken in the middle of the night to the sound of his brother screaming. he rushes ro his room knowing instantly what started happening

-Kusuo transforms again, without any form of painkillers. this scene is intended to be very brutal and described in detail because its agonizingly painful. kuusuke manages to convince him in his haze to put up a sound barrier instead of trying to force himself to be silent

-Kuusuke leaves halfway through to grab painkillers and stumbles into their mom on her way to check whats happening, and he manages to convince her it was a nightmare and that kusuo already fell back asleep, and she leaves

-He returns near the end of the transformation to force his brother to drink the morphine straight up, because theres no way he can stick a needle in him with the stress and due to him having scales tougher than skin at the moment

-Kuusuke stays with him the entire night, and administrators the reverter in the morning along with more morphine

-Kusuo skips school with the excuse of not sleeping very well and fearing the lack of sleep will make is powers hard to manage in public

-He demands kuusuke give an explanation and kuusuke admits that the rat he'd used as an example had returned to the dragon form a few days ago, dying from the trauma

-He admits that the original dosage must not have killed all of the mutagens and they repopulated, but he assures Kusuo that he received a much, much higher dosage this time around to compensate, and due to having the reverter given to him once already, its likely no mutagens were able to start integrating permanently

-Kusuo is understandably still freaked out and unwilling to fully believe his brother, but accepts it because he doesn't want to think of the alternative. what kuusuke says makes sense, but so had what he'd said originally, and it hadn't been true

-A week later, Kusuo is still on edge but starting to relax slightly, as he has felt nothing amiss and this is how long it took last time

-Two weeks later, Kusuo starts changing again in school this time, and is barely able to get to a bathroom and teleport home

and thats all im gonna share for now because this whole story is long as fuck. it was originally planned to be a oneshot, but the entire story is so long its a multi chaptered thing now. theres a timeskip from the first timeframe to when hes around 10 and gets his limiters (with additions to help with his. other problem), and another timeskip to him at canon age, but theres still so many scenes that, major timeskips or no, its long.

theres more scenes when hes 8 (what the fic starts as) and when hes 16-17 then any other age, though

thinking about my very fucked up saiki au again <3 i wrote 5k words on that oneshot for it in a blurry haze a month or so ago lol. idk if ill ever finish it and if i do if ill ever even post it but yknow. self indulgent things <3
