Takin a second to note the Ace - Monsterfucker solidarity bc if there’s no physical appeal already, any romantic value or appeal is just in the personality they bring to the table, so? It’s just:

#why should the robot from Lost in Space or the fish man from The Shape of Water be any less suitable than some random human if all I care #abt is their moral alignment & if they'd make a good parent & love me for me?#I already don't understand the attraction to half the characters people consider hot for no gd reason if we're talking pure aesthetic #appeal there's just no argument that Predator is a 10 if he's standing net to Talbot Grimes #or the Clown or half the milktoast boring lookin gents or any hallmark lead actor #where's the color variation and the wardrobe cohesion? Where's the cool weapons?
