man if i made the video essays in my mind i would be utterly unstoppable AND insufferable
#postatoes#keep thinking about this idea i've had#about ar tonelico's us marketing#... like. the marketing for 1 alone was SO bad like#i think it would just be interesting looking at how the game was advertised vs the actual appeals of the game (in my eyes)#i dont know if better marketing would have helped but#like. one of the official trailers has lyner using an attack that COMPLETELY fails to land a hit on the enemy like.#why would you use that footage#and the way it cuts from song to song doesn't really let you enjoy the music which is SUCH a big appeal of the game#also. okay i think they should've used more character voice lines#shurelia always sounds a little stiff so it gives a specific impression of the voice acting
