@drake-the-incubus SO BASICALLY the allegations are that this person (I'll send you the post when I'm done reading it, I don't want to name anyone until I've looked over everything myself) has artificially inflated their Moroccan heritage and brownfaced to gain clout and harass people in The Old Guard fandom, which over the last year had been having MASSIVE, MASSIVE drama over racism in fanworks vis-a-vis portraying the muslim brown man in their canon interracial mlm ship as overly sexually aggressive. this person is basically queen of the anti-Top Joe/anti-racism side.

I haven't reblogged many (if any) of their posts about fandom racism because I haven't seen TOG and thought I shouldn't be spreading stuff when I only half-understood the context. I've only been following them for a few months because I liked all the posting they did about postcolonial academia. So this is all completely beyond me.
