Finnley - 89g (-3g, healthy weight)

Zephyr - 590g-600g (slight decrease, not accurate, still healthy)

Valentine - 289g (baseline)

I weighed them yesterday and forgot to post. Oops!

Finnley is still doing fabulously, feeling happy and stimulated enough to be a sweetheart more often than a... Birdy brat. Very nice! His feathers are soft as butter and look great. He has been very happy with all the bye bye trips we've been taking lately. During our last trip, I wanted to try socializing him again since his mood has been manageable. We took him to PetSmart and Joann's. Finnley did wonderful! On previous trips he shrieked at every noise and voice. This time, when the shrieking began, I'd ask him to "shh" and use his inside voice. If that didn't work, I made him step into a different finger to grab his attention back. If he still went back to shrieking, then our last measure was gently rubbing the top of his head and neck. This redirected him from spooked to sing songy and made the whole experience much more enjoyable for everyone! Success!!

Zephyr wouldn't stay still for me on the scale so his reading is a guesstimate. It's understandable though... He's just too excited that there's another lady nearby! His feathers are in a rougher state at the moment because of molting, but otherwise they are soft and healthy. His poo has been looser than normal lately, but we are claiming stress with that from all the travel. Since we have had hens near him, he has become more moody towards us people but ultimately happier with everything else. He's still a chungy boy and honestly I want him to hold this weight.

Valentine, our new addition, has been with us for 2 days now. She's a healthy, bright eyed, active bird with beautiful feathers and a nice feel around her body. The poor dear was terrified during the car ride, so much that she was purging from both ends. Once we arrived to our Airbnb though, she settled right down and enjoyed some food and water. She immediately took treats from me and kept trying to jump on my arm and shoulder rather than be in her travel cage. She's too sweet!!

Underrated Pokemon of the week: Lickilicky

It’s actually pretty cute and is very fancy with its little ascot and links pattern on its tummy. it is a handsome boi, a good boi. very round.

Pastel yellow is very soft and makes it Pokemon look very gentle n sweet.

a chungy baybie, like easter eggs... very blessed.
