can you have your own thought? can you form your own opinion? can you recognize that statistics and data can be unhealthy, imperfect, influenced by human nature? can you understand that numbers are not pure and objective? can you be brave enough to follow your intuition? can you make a choice without input from others?
these are genuine questions because, genuinely, if you cannot, that's very concerning and you are very vulnerable. start to practice by seeing if you can get dressed without texting friends to ask what garment looks better, or something small like this, okay?

There are a lot of systems in play that seek to strip you of the confidence required to make a decision. You're not indecisive. Either you don't actually care about the outcome (which is valid, I feel like this about dinner a lot) or you know what your choice would be, on some level, but layers of social programming (usually on a racist, ableist, and gender essentialist basis) have trained you to question your own reality in favor of "experts."
Learn what you need to know, but then trust that you know it and can use that knowledge to solve your own problems and make your own decisions. 💕 There is no external validation that will ever compare to trusting your gut and being happy with the result.
