a sizeable piece of my enjoyment of every book comes from how nice and satisfying it feels to flip and bend the pages when i'm reading
#it's a tic i can't really control no matter how much my family hated it when i was growing up i could never stop lol#each book has its own unique indescribable Feel some more satisfying than others#i love the slightly thinner more flimsy pages of thick well-researched biographies and im not a big fan of deckle edges#a lot of small paperback books are harder to fiddle with especially if they're new and stiff so i try to avoid getting those when i can#personal things#book tag
