So, it's weird to me how everyone in the fandom is viewing Tigerstar right now. I don't think it's as cut and dry as "Tigerstar randomly invaded RiverClan, Eris bad" as everyone seems to have interpreted it. It's also odd to me that people with this opinion all use the word "annex" suddenly. Begs the question: which popular fan/ YouTuber did y'all get your opinion from now? Lmao

Well its certainly too early to see where they'll take this (and I have little faith in the Erins) but I think Tigerheartstar is being purposefully written as morally grey.

I believe him when he says he doesn't have any bad intentions when extending help to Riverclan, but I can understand why cats would be wary about that. We get to see Sunbeam, someone who knows Tigerstar, and Frostpaw and Nightheart who don't. And the viewpoint of him is conflicting, obviously. So its clearly their intention to invoke discussion about his actions.

That would require a broader political discussion of interventionism and when it is just to forcibly insert yourself into a sovereign group which....while I have opinions on that I think might be a little much for right now and over cat books.

I do think the word "annex" is wrong terminology though. Occupying would probably be more accurate. Tigerstar didn't purchase Riverclan and isn't trying to use their territory for Shadowclan, they're stationing themselves there until they are functional again.
