also Im quitting smoking again because I want to do wildland fire forever and being able to hike uphill fast without wheezing is a valuable skill in this field. but man. its like gods perfect addiction

#a lot of firefighters are hooked on zyns however those things suck and I don't like them #smoking is like deep breathing that tastes good #like the whole process of it from shaking one out the pack to lighting it up and that first long pull #to stubbing it out and fieldstripping it like that one old paratrooper taught me #is such a perfect ritual that hits every spot on my brain so good. UNFORTUNATELY it will also kill me because life is unfair #and worse it will make me bad at my job. gahhhhhhh #smoking tw #(?? I guess. I just dont want my detailed description of smoking a cigarette to kick anyone off the wagon #cause I know its got my own fingers twitching)
