I like that Diluc is designed as the romantic interest of some 1990's josei manga about a plucky heroine's journey, from his role in the story to his personality, and, yes, to the feminine, too-skinny-to-wield-that-sword looks.

#diluc #I understand a lot of liking characters happens inside the person's head #they're these lovely objects in which we can project fantasies so we do #but when I see that such a huge part of the Diluc appreciator crowd is after a very specific character #a guy that's gruffer harder and bulkier-- and that certainly isn't my sweetie #it makes me feel like an absolute dork for just liking him as he is #yeah nothing special here I just like his Dark Knight With Hidden Gentleness vibes #yeah I'm easy to please
