Bestieeeeeeee!!!! So a few things

1.) the dance is Friday, i’m freaking outt

2.) we’ve been holding hands a lot(!) and recently i’ve been chilling on his lap, but today i took a lil nap while on his lap and after waking me up for class he said “I couldn’t feel my arm but it was worth it, i’d let it happen again, many times actually” and i just🥰🥹 cause i was scared that i’d add too much weight of sumn and without me even bringing it up i was reassured 😭.

2.5) this one isn’t big just felt like mentioning it. During the last class of the day we sit next to each other and we were holding hands under the table right? Then when i had to write j moved my hand, now i expected him to start writing too but no! he moved his hand onto my thigh and kept it there until i stopped writing (cause then i could hold hus hand again). Its amazing bc im a stage 5 clinger & he reciprocates the clinginess😊

3.) so I have this ring that is soo cute but doesn’t fit any of my fingers, so i put if on a chain. We now share the necklace.. like deadass if i feel like wearing it ill just go take it off of him then give it back later. And its not just the fact that he’s wearing something of mine but also that he likes it, and he looks good in it.

4.)im in marching band yea? So tonight was a v important game (it was against the rival school, we won 47-0) and he came!! Like ik he was coming but still☺️. So once halftime is over meaning band is done with the halftime show i see messages from my dad & aunt….. why were they sitting right behind him 😭 they got along but i was so scared the entire time, not to mention the nerves that were already there from performing in a bigger stadium than im used to

"(Y/N)-chan, it's Mikey." Your eyes widen as the grip on your cellphone tightens, by the sound of Draken's voice things didn't seem well. "He's at the playground."

"I'll be there."

With that the call ends, you knew by the few words Draken has spoken that something has happened to Mikey. Quickly, putting on a jacket you run out of your house before your parents even had the time to question your sudden departure. Panting, you run towards the playground that Draken mentioned, the cold wind passing you. With each step you take worries fill your mind, fueling you to run faster. Only the lights from the lampposts guiding your way.

As you arrive at the playground, you looked around for your blonde haired boyfriend-only to spot him on top of the jungle gym.

As soon as you spot him, you run towards him and begin to climb up to where he's sitting. You could feel your body slightly shaking as you grib the bars even almost losing your footing. When you finally climbed ontop on the jungle gym, you place yourself in front of Mikey. Panting you whimper out his name.

"Mikey..."

Mikey's hands were red, bruised and coated with dry blood. Blood was even smeared on his face which you knew was not his but what was worse was of all was the deep darkness held within his eyes. Letting out a shakey breath, you carefully bring his hands into your own careful to not lose your balance. Mikey eyes remained glued downwards as he let's his hands taken be taken into yours.

"I'm a monster..." Your breath hitches in your throat at his words.

"I almost killed someone. I didn't know what came over me but all I felt was emptiness as I beat his face in. If Ken-chin didn't stop me I-I..." Mikey words tremble as his eyes finally meet yours. The darkness that was held within was mixed with sadness and fear.

Fear of losing himself.

You felt tears pooling in your eyes the longer you held his gaze. Gently tracing your thumbs over his knuckles you let out a small smile.

"(Y/N), stay away from me..."

"It's okay. You're okay now." Tears slowly cascading down your face as you stared at his hands seeing the purple and green that painted them. His bruised hands no bigger than yours yet held so much strength within them.

"Everything is okay now.."

You whisper as you carefully lifted his bruised hands to your lips, closing your eyes to press a lingering kiss to them.

As you open your eyes, you were met with Mikey who stares at you with widened eyes. "These beautiful hands belong to you not a monster's. They belong to Mikey, just Mikey-kun." You smile towards him as you see his lips quiver, you had to be strong for him.

"A boy who loves taiyaki and eats kiddy meals just for the flags. Sleeps wherever he wants and can't even do his own hair..."

"I s-should just dー"

"And I-I love him very much..." With your words you silence any further degrading words from him, you would break down if he completed that sentence. You could tell he was trying to hold back his own tears while you let yours cascade freely.
