btw lifehack to any collectors out there or anyone who wants to protect their shit from their pets. display cabinets/cubes tend to be super fucking expensive but clear acrylic shoeboxes are wayyy cheaper and just as effective since they're also meant for display/dust protection

#a 10“ acrylic display cube is like 50$ minimum but a 8x14” 'clear shoebox' can be as low as 15$ esp in bulk if you have a big collection #i thought this seemed like a good idea and then i did it and its a GREAT idea #words and things #only downside is they're more lightweight than display cubes #which is Usually a benefit to me but it makes it easier for pets to knock around #that said it's still a shut box with magnet closures versus having stuff out they can just knock over & chew on #at least it'll be safe inside #YES my dog is a menace #she swallows socks whole when you aren't looking
