kind of fascinated by the fact that sibel/erhan feels very similar to how ayaz/berrak did in zemheri. except beneath the surface erhan is almost an antithesis to ayaz? ayaz was blackmailed into marrying berrak, there wasn’t a day that went by he wouldn’t have left her immediately to get back with firuze if given half the chance. that man had no ambition, he was miserable 24/7 and looked as if he was being held at gunpoint to even stand beside her. erhan meanwhile is (somewhat? mostly?) willingly walking into this arrangement with sibel and choosing money above the love he has for elif. she literally tries to beg him to walk away so they can get back together and he doesn’t. and a part of me wonders if this was done on purpose a bit or if it’s just serendipitous that both characters were played by alperen.
