Y'all know I love Janome and this series to death, so I won't be talking about the plot. Am I looking forward to the anime? No.

Yuuma and 2gu-2gu slayed their roles as usual. I can't believe this wasn't nominated during chil-chil 2022. What a huge disservice! How are y'all nominating Takasaki Boscos and Momose Ans on that shit and not Janome?! Yuuma was nominated for 16th best seiyuu for Hisashi and landed right after Matty, but I think he deserves to place higher.

I MEAN, HELLO???? THE NIPPLE PLAY ON HIM???

I don't know what to feel when the normies think of Yuuma as Kaveh and not Mr. Sex-on-Legs himself. I love Yuuma as Alhaitham's a bottom, but Hisashi's just—UGH! He's so sexy one minute, then so soft the other. 🥹

I don't plan to listen to Taiyou-kun, but 2gu-2gu should've been nominated for this instead. 2gu-2gu's range as Mao is just insane. It's also funny that he sounds more like Etou-san than Yuuma lmaooo. I am obsessed with Yuuma as Hisahi ngl, but 2gu-2gu was the star of this BLCD.

I will say that it was a struggle to read the manga along the BLCD. I was a very good girl these past few years 'cause resisted the urge to read the manga beforehand, but my resistance might've added to my struggle lmao. I was jumping from page to page 'cause I didn't know where the BLCD started (actually starts in chapter 3 of the overlap tanko). I wouldn't have been confused if I read the table of contents, but I clearly can't read.

Anyway, I couldn't afford the luxury of buying Kodansha's English release, so I couldn't check the translation. But I mean, it's Kodansha. unless... I don't think they've cut anything out and actually just added more dialogue in, but there's nothing really major, so you can definitely listen to the BLCD while following the manga. I definitely recommend getting this if you love the story or are looking for something immersive. Please love my sons. It's the best red-string series out there even though it didn't mean to be.

my immediate (well its been a whole day and then some, so not really) touhou 19 impressions for all the new characterbelow the read more so beware spoilers!

for context, all my knowledge and understanding of the plot and dialogue comes from a scattered mix of the translated omake, official profiles, a pal explaining this or that line, various different snippets of online talk i saw, and general me absorbing vibes through the screen after playing the game for over seven hours. if i got something wrong, oh well, there will be plenty of time to come to get a clearer picture of everyone!

its neat how the three new animal girls on the cover are all associated with one of the leaders from the animal realm. Although at first i assumed that meant there wouldnt be much to think of them beyond that because i also assumed they came from the animal realm to work with their respective leader. But actually they all come from Gensokyo, and the animal leaders got them to join their cause! That's way more interesting to me, and makes me wonder if all those three's posturing about taking over gensokyo might not just be hot air after all...

All three of them also have either direct or indirect connections to the final boss but i'll get to her later. for now my thoughts of all the newcomers one by one...

son biten 🐵 : okay so when i first saw an image of her, i went 'oh its sun wukong. okay...' and didnt think much of her beyond that, but her story is a lot more funny than that. she was (is) in fact just a normal monkey girl (normal by gensokyo standards) who got into big trouble but was 'saved' by Yachie, who convinced her that she's the legendary sun wukong. Now she proclaims herself as a hero and thinks Yachie, who only wants to use her as a tool, is her best friend. That's a lot more endearing to me than i thought and maybe i am more than a little invested in this bizarre dynamic between monkey and tortoise.

mitsugashira enoko 🐺🐺🐺: pretty similar to Biten's story albeit more straightforwardly charming. she was a regular animal who turned into a monster and was well on her way to becoming a really nasty one at that, but then Saki came along, showed off her back muscles, and was like 'join my gang', and then Enoko calmed down and was happy to do so! its funny but also kinda sweet? but really the most i have to say is that the bear traps on her wrists are funny. the profile and ending images make it seem to me like they do Not come off and those may as well be her hands. I know for sure Saki offered to shake her hand and did not regret it 🤠

tenkajin chiyari 🩸: what a freak!!!!!!! just some lanky, hunched over creature that literally nobody even knows what species she is, who lurks in the deepest depths of hell who loves doing nothing more than gulping up pools of cursed blood in her free time. I thought Momoyo, who lives in a cave and eats rocks was a freak, but Chiyari is on a whole other level. I love her. it's so easy to see how she and Yuuma beccame friends due to their 'common interests'.

yomotsu hisami 🍇: she's so cool!!!!!!! i can't believe she's probably the least revelant out of the newcomers 😂 great design and concept, and her whole thing in nearly every route she appears in is trying to drag you to hell, offering a sweet deal and then happily resorting to force if refused, its so good. Hisami is also technically subservient to the final boss Zanmu (because she's hot) but will also just do whatever she wants and Zanmu just has to deal with that... Speaking of!

nippaku zanmu 👹: i think she's neat 🙂 I mean, like a lot of touhou final bosses, most of their meat comes from their elaborate backstory and someone else will have to comment about how its a cool intepretation of this or that myth. as mentioned, she has at least some form of role whether minor or direct to the backstory of every other newcomer, which is cool and lends a more connective tissue to the cast as a whole, and she's also a big authorative figure in hell! all the different profiles like to emphasize how Zanmu is a planner type who controls everything with guile and information, and the plan she sets in motion in the game's plot mostly goes off without a hitch, even with so many different characters butting heads with one another. The most interesting bit of all this only really comes in at the very very end, where she calls off her plan to take control of everything herself, instead choosing to trust Reimu because she sees her as a kindred spirit. fun to think about the implications of that...

Gumi's Past (My Headcanon)

She has always been a cheerful and tender girl that wanted to play with someone, have any whim she longed for, eat some sweets, among several other things. And no, it's not that her parents are rich, they were just lucky to have enough money to get Gumi those things so that she would be happy at all times, not least because of those things, the greenhaired girl will start to boast of the lucky life she has carries, always showed kindness and caring to anyone no matter what. However, there was a difference that made her stand out from all the children in the country (as far as is known in her neighborhood), and that was that Gumi was inexplicably born with freckles. Her parents; Midori and her current husband Shigeru never paid attention to this and saw that it was a blessing that their daughter was born with freckles, but this was not the same perspective that Gumi had, because in her first year of school immediately another kids pushed her aside and even made fun of Gumi because of her freckles and this made the little girl grow a strong fear of being judged for being different, when her parents found out about it they decided that the best thing they would do was educate her at home until finding an ideal school where Gumi was not mistreated for a simple physical trait.

But even so, they raised her self-esteem by telling that she should never take what they say about her seriously and not feel bad about being ashamed of being born with something that at time was abnormal for everyone, as in her case, being a Japanese girl with freckles, which motivated the little Gumi a lot for a long time and even with people seeing her weird she will do her best to avoid them. Her happiness increased even more when she found out that she had an older brother who came to her house because of the rejection he had received before meeting her, she was barely four years old when Gakupo appeared in Gumi's life and at that age she still did not know what was around her, but even so, she was very excited about the fact that by sharing mother's biological blood and living under the same roof, they would spend quality time like any sibling duo would...but it never was like that, when Gakupo started a new life being at the side of his mother, his stepfather and half siblings, he always showed an icy attitude, he did not feel like playing or living with Gumi, Shigeru and the new member of the family, Ryuuto. She had never lost hope that her brother could change and thus they would both have a more comfortable and beautiful relationship than the cold and distant one they were beginning to have.

Some years later, she along with her brothers and her mother attended a meeting that involved meeting Gakupo's biological father, the other lovers he had, and the daughters he managed to have with them. Gumi and Ryuuto still had no idea what exactly was going on, they felt happy to meet those girls that they would get used to calling "sisters" in the future, not like the already purplehaired teenager who instantly rejected his father's proposal and wanted nothing with all of them, and it was logical, due to the fact that it was difficult to accept treatment from someone who mistreated him during his childhood. From there they will know what would happen next: the agreement between the parents that they would meet their children more often to get to know each other better (this explain better in Gakupo's Headcanon Past) In that resounding time, she met Yuuma and Mizki, two twins who moved to Tokyo and she became good friends with both of them when Gumi invited them in her home, especially Yuuma who was happy to have a first friend and she too because of the fact that that he and Mizki didn't judge her about her freckles and that way she felt more secure with herself.

But that security did not last forever...When she already entered the puberty phase she use products such as cosmetics to herself advantage to finally hide her freckles with colored bases of Gumi's skin tone and so she lived calm of feeling normal hiding something she disliked about herself, her family and Yuuma were not pleased with that decision. Then a few years later Gumi would find out that Gakupo entered Vocaloid as the first singer of the Internet Co. Ltd company, something that the greenhaired enthusiast did not hesitate to tell Ryuuto and the rest of her stepsisters, about the news that Gakupo has entered Vocaloid and thus convince them all to join that same company with the idea of being singers and not leaving the they big brother alone in this. From there, everyone began to devise their own strategic plan and be more up-to-date with musical life so that everyone could enter Vocaloid at their time, having as an advance that Gumi entered second Loid after her brother, considering that as a child she had a big dream of being a successful singer when grew up, when Gakupo found out about his siblings' plan it made him slightly uncomfortable.

Gumi loved being in a new lifestyle, improving her singing in rehearsals to be a better singer, practicing her dance steps, being next to her siblings, meeting new colleagues and friends from her current job and find out that Mizki and Yuuma entered some time after her. Gumi couldn't be happier and grateful for everything she had and been given since she was little until today, so much so that is unable to think that nothing could make the life she loved so much worse...despite she had no complaints about how the rest of the Loids treated her, getting along very well with almost everyone, Gumi still remembered that "matter" that kept bothering her. In the depths of her conscience she was still thinking about her freckles, until now no one has found out about it, but she did not like the idea of feeling isolated again for that same case, for which she continued the game of hiding her freckles and feel normal with the idea that she lacked them. Gakupo and Yuuma upon learning about Gumi's situation, both worked together to give her of the same advice her parents gave: Don't worry too much about having a different physical appearance, no matter how strange it may be, you're perfect and beautiful just the way you are.

Gakupo for the first time began to be more authoritarian with his siblings, mainly with Gumi, since he cared more about her for a long time, because he owed her that favor by being one of the few people who accepted and adored him so much when she was young, at least something went right after all, thanks to that, Gumi is already a little happy again because she was right about something; her relationship with her older brother would improve at any moment no matter what or how it was. Just like Yuuma, all that time in middle school he knew that Gumi wasn't happy when she pretended not to have her freckles, he knew that she could be better off without hiding them and if he could be open and less shy with people for her, Gumi would do the same in order to put her low self-esteem aside no matter what others think on her. By then, she finally decided to stop worrying about that nonsense of hiding her freckles and pretending that she doesn't have them, so one day she decided to be brave enough to show everyone who she really is, and it literally took her by surprise that everyone was fascinated to see her revealing her freckles, of course it made them strange to see a freckled japanese for the first time but in the good sense of making her feel good at least she already left behind her anxiety of being judged for her appearance and she never worried about it anymore.

Welcome to the Valley~

I kept getting distracted instead of making a small summary post for Iris' playthrough, but I want to put it up here before I play too far lol. I've been working on some sketches for her, but please enjoy the WIPS since I keep getting distracted. During the first years, her main circle of friends is: Shiro, Yuuma, Philip, Sebastian, Sam, Leah, Hayley, Alex Kiarra, & Shane :)

The bus ride was rather exausting, but after Lewis and Robin showed her to the new farm, Iris was very pleased to have the afternoon to get settled. She probably spent most of the first week just clearing the land around the farmhouse, and enough to clear a small path towards the town, and the mountains, as well as one around her coop so she doesn't lose track of the chicks when they are out.

She ran into Alex pretty quickly, probably on the second or third day. He found her petting Dusty, chatting to the good boy. Iris isn't a super sporty person, but lots of classmates and coworkers in Zuzu were big gridball fans so she knows enough of it. She feels like Alex is a bit full of himself, but a good guy. They click well enough.

The meeting with Abigail and her family was not the best, she was a bit on edge that morning, and Abby came in swinging with the "It's a shame you moved here" welcome line. Pierre was also pushing the salesman front quite hard, and Iris can't stand that.

She met Phillip, Yuuma, and Shiro very briefly on a day when they were in Pelican Town for their therapy. It was just a short conversation, but she got along well with all of them.

It took her nearly two weeks to get the courage to take the cable cars up to the ridge. The first ride she ended up having a panic attack, during the afternoon. A tourist who was taking the car along with her ran to get Lenny and Paula while Iris struggled to get to her feet and get her heart and breathing under control. Phillip, Shiro, and Yuuma happened to be coming back on the next car, and Phillip was quick to help talk her through the attack. Girl was mortified, but super appreciative when they all walked her to the hotel for a bit.

Since then, she would say hi to them whenever she saw them in town. She didn't go back to the ridge for another 2 weeks though.

When she learned that Yuuma often stopped at Pierre's on his own to do grocery shopping she's determined to give him a hand. She shifts her schedule around a little bit so that she has one day she can spend up at the ridge. She offers to help Yuuma carry the groceries up. He does initially say it's ok and he doesnt want to cause trouble for her, but she tells him he would actually be helping her- having a goal/chore that takes her up on a regular basis can help her get over her fears. Plus, she'd feel safer if he keeps her company. He says ok after that. I headcanon Yuuma as like 8 years old or so? I don't remember if we ever get any closer age.

Throughout the first year she becomes very close with Shiro, Philip and Yuuma. Yuuma especially starts to see her as a sort of older sister, feels comfortable asking her for help, and sometimes asks to visit her farm. Iris also fully adopts Yuuma, and does her best to lessen the workload for him.

She beat Abigail at the egg hunt during the first year and Abigail was wildly bitter about it, not helping. These two just do not get along.

It doesn't help when Abigail walks by Sam's and sees that Iris is hanging out on the lawn in front of his places with both Sam and Sebastian (Abigail is crushing hard on Seb, and is a wee possesive)

Nearly missed the summer Luau, she was completely lost in finishing a new book that Sebastian had just lent her. They share similar tastes in what they like reading, and this along with music is the main building point of their friendship.

Her friends and some of their fam start picking up on her habit of making little cards or bookmarks or small trinkets with pressed flowers and leaving them around as surprise gifts for them. Granny Evelyn in particular loves getting these, and Iris is happy to help her out with the garden beds around town from time to time. Alex finds this mega endearing.

Seb, Sam, and Iris continue the Solarian Chronicles campaign, and Victor and Sophia join them later in the year. The group begins to become a bit closer due to this. Abi joins from time to time, but seems to never quite feel comfortable or fit the party much.

She gets along well with Shane, and they're close-ish but she was very surprised and very worried when she found just how bad his mental health is. She makes a concsious effort to check in on him more often, and they somtimes have evenings where she brings a book and reads at the ranch while he helps Marnie, and they chat on and off. Shane still delivers feed and other things from Marnie's to her farm, and has definitely found her asleep on the floor of the coop with a book in her lap, and a chicken too, on more than one occasion. Maybe he thinks thats cute, but you won't be hearing him admit it.

Fall, um.... June Arrived. And Iris might be in trouble y'all.

She loves listening to him play the piano at the Ridgeside hotel, and they get along very well. He's even more of a coffee nerd than she is, which was surprising. So when they had a little breakfast hangout/date and he was nerding out about coffee, no, she wasn't bored at all. Was that a blush? maybe.

and holycrapJunewhat That dialogue killed me- Iris was trying to be a silly flirt and I feel like June absolutely called her bluff and left her a tomato-faced mess. It's a shame he's only here for half of the year, she'd love to get to know him better.

She continues to to become closer with Shiro, Phillip and Yuuma. (Yuuma was the first villager i got full hearts with). She occasionally helps them with the physio as well, and some minor chores at the Kobayashi house. It's a nice way to spend time with them and chat, and for the first few months while she didn't have a kitchen, it was a good excuse to use theirs and make them dinner sometimes.

Dinner at the Legame house also becomes somewhat of a frequent occasion- She likes to help out Kiarra, and they always end up chatting late into the night. Iris loves listeining to all of Kiarra's wild stories with Joja sabotage and boycotts. Anton also grows to really enjoy her company, but his heart belongs to Paula.

As we turn to spring of Year 2, the layout of the farm is looking like this! She keeps a steady turnaround of coffee and tea, two grape varieties and honey. She makes wine and jam as well and only a small-ish selection of seasonal crops. She grows flowers near her house, and is working on renovating the little guest cabin close to the shipping box. And we got our first cow!

To be bluntly honest, I didn't think the day would come soon...I guess I still plan to talk about My Fankids in separate posts with much more detail where I have better built their info...but I guess a definition of each of them my Fankids wouldn't hurt!...I Guess...

(Arranged from oldest to youngest)

Summer (12): Gumi and Yuuma's eldest daughter. A girl who at a jovial age is usually someone responsible and a bit mature, resulting in being the voice of reason in the group and who makes sure to take care of her siblings like the rest of the children. Likewise, she does not take away from the fact that she is someone endearing and who knows how to have fun so as not to stress with her homeworks and schoolworks.

Kankyō (10): Gumi and Yuuma's middle child. He is usually someone sensitive, calm and of few words, Kankyō mainly spends his time living with Souta, Renji and Arashi, and like his older sister, he acts as the voice of reason for these three (I'm sorry I don't have many things to explain about my boy ;-;).

Souta (9): Younger son of Kiyoteru and Meiko. He is a complete contrast to Yukiko, a rebellious and unruly boy who often brings fun to his friends/cousins by unconsciously getting into trouble. Although, it seems Souta does not learn from his lessons, he tries to be a better son for his parents and a good example for his group and the rest of the children so as not to be seen as a bad influence.

Rabenda (7): Gakupo and Luka's eldest daughter. A "flower girl" (forgive the redundancy that her name is Lavender in Japanese), the small lady of her family who loves to play with dolls, have tea parties and dress up like a princess. She loves her parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles, cousins and friends so much and Rabenda would never be able to leave them.

Sachi (6): Gumi and Yuuma's little daughter. Being the little sister of Summer and Kankyō, she is very cared for by her parents as well as her siblings, except that Kankyō is not as "relatively close" to her. Sachi is a very curious girl and asks "why?" her not understanding what happens around her.

Fujiro (4): The second child of Gakupo and Luka. On few occasions he made it known that he is an infant with a big brain, a small prodigy among his family. But Fujiro at the end of the day is a little boy and wants to spend more time with his loved ones and play games, than immerse his brain in books and complicated words.

Nyuto (6 months): Kaito and Miku's baby. Along with Shinichi and Natsumi, he is more cared for by his parents and siblings, considering that he is an infant, his personality does not develop, it is only stated that he is very tender with his family as new people who love have to know.

I could only talk about half of them since I reiterate; the other Fankids belong to @ask-the-vocafamilies and with his permission he let me add them in my universe which means that most of them don't change from their original concept...with three exceptions that stay away from the original Fankids concept of Vocafamilies. I would like to clarify, he also accepts this, so a brief summary of them will also serve for this post:

Yukiko (17): Older daughter of Kiyoteru and Meiko, and older sister of Souta. Unlike the original Yukiko, she is a very shy, insecure girl and is usually very close to her family for fear of talking to other people (with the exception of the other Vocaloids and their children). This is because she grew up almost locked up at home, without going to school in a calm way because Kiyoteru and Meiko were not in the best of moments with their Vocaloid lives...

Shinichi (Aka. Shisui) and Natsumi (Aka. Uzumi) (3 months): Baby twins of Gakupo and Luka as well as the younger siblings of Rabenda and Fujiro...yes...I think that just saying this description gives Let's see what are the ones that have had the greatest change when it comes to integrating them into my universe—

Okay. Big fat post about my Vocaloid idol universe

The girl group = VY1, MAIKA, Yukari, Akari. Thinking about adding a fifth member who will likely be Iroha. :)

VY1 Mizuki: the "weird one." Formerly in a duo group with VY2 (they are still extremely close, there was no falling out. Mizuki just wanted to do something different). She and Akari have generally the most experience. Says strange things all the time and her fans worship her as like modern day Platos. Sweet and kind if a little lost on social cues. Doesn't really know how to appeal to idol fans and make herself charming and cute but she's trying her best and that's what matters. Her as a singer and her daily life intersect hard (years of being together with someone who is both your super best friend and your singing idol partner).

Akari: defacto leader. Has the most idol experience and was in many other groups before. Is incredibly knowledgeable and intelligent when it comes to music contracts and such but in her daily life is a real airhead like how she gets scammed easily. Cheerful and all around upbeat but is a little worried about her long-term future because none of the other groups she was in lasted very long. Clingy and sometimes seems a little desperate for attention and care. Doesn't have many memories outside of/before her idol life.

Maika: their management keeps trying to make her the "sexy one" but it doesn't work. A big ole art nerd. Is super well-read and a little pretentious about music. This italo disco shit is serious to her. Her and Mizuki tend to cling to each other and quickly became friends after the group was first formed. Yukari tells Mizuki obvious lies but Mizuki believes all of them so she tells them back to Maika as truths and it's like this⬇️

She did her own solo music in the past and is used to having alot of control over everything she does and creates. Is the type who is really shy about romance. Does everything with a massive amount of love and passion.

Yukari: gets the "cool older sister" role. Has the least amount of experience as an idol by far and easily rolls with the punches, leading to her clashing a bit with Akari & Maika who take every activity fairly seriously. Ends up gravitating towards Mizuki who is generally quiet. Teases Mizuki alot and sometimes goes too far but they make up :). In general doesn't really know how to interact with people without putting a massive layer of irony sarcasm etc between them. Just trying to chill honestly.

Not a member but for lore here's VY2 Yuuma: doesn't try to get into another idol group or do solo work after he and Mizuki split as a unit. Flat faced. Mizuki takes lead between the two of them and he tends to look to her for guidance but tbh most of the time she is just as lost as him. (Mizuki feels like she needs to take all of his burdens.. they have been through alot together) His and Mizuki's duo unit once appeared on some random TV show with Ice Mountain (Kiyoteru's band) so now he has a crush on Kiyoteru. Nowadays occasionally sings a song or two at a club or something. His manager is trying really hard to find something for him to do.

Various factoids

- when they sleep in one big bed together they sleep in order of Maika-Mizuki-Akari-Yukari

- photos taken of the girls tend to be plagued by Orbs. This always goes away if Mizuki is in the photo however

- Akari is the type to get upset about killing bugs instead of taking them outside

- Akari and Maika post very frequently on their social medias, Yukari posts a decent amount, Mizuki's account is practically dead

- Maika is fine at cooking and has a sweet tooth. Mizuki eats food only because she has to (has no particular tastes) and is also just OK at cooking. Yukari is really good at cooking and dislikes getting takeout. Akari suxxx at cooking but she's trying her best and also she loves spicy food

I know this Fangan will probably never be developed past the prologue, but I just wanted to share my predictions for "Danganronpa: Glacial Bullets".

I’d love to hear your predictions and thoughts on this long-since abandoned fangame.

Elaboration (as well as additional thoughts) below the cut:

From just the prologue, I can easily tell that there are several elements borrowed from both SDR2 and SDRA2. Yuma (the girl with the pink pigtails) is a lot like Sora, Shinichi (the boy with the blue hair and jacket) is obviously Yuki, both Okura (purple cape) and Iwao (armor boy) are a lot like Gundham, Kyoji (shirtless buff guy) is obviously Nekomaru, Machiko (other pink girl) and Nanpo (buff guy in the suit) are FuyuPeko, Yuna (girl with blue highlights) is Syobai, Tomohiko (black jumpsuit boy) is like Kazuichi mixed with Yuri, and Nariko (girl with blue hair and jacket) is like a mix between Yoruko and Mahiru. There is also a virtual world with a Monomi-esque figure (a blue fireball named Mu), and an ally for the mastermind gets instantly exposed, complete with red eyes (much like Void). So, this influenced the death order predictions and related plot points.

On a sidenote, the naming schemes for the characters in this game are very confusing. Some of them are in the Japanese order (Okamoto Kyoji, Hada Tomohiko, Akiyama Hyosuke, Wakimoto Iwao, Hirayama Nanpo, Matsuura Nariko), some are in the English order (Ranjit Karam, Shinichi Tokoyuni, Machiko Otsune, Ruriko Teshima, Muzoku Fujimoto, Yuuma Kagami), and others consist of two first names (Okura Komatsu, Tsuzuki Kiho, Yoshina Miyako, Yuna Asahi, Yuuma Kagami)

During Chapter 1, Iwao (the Ultimate Actor, who is WAY to into his role as a knight) would kill Yoshina (the Ultimate Robotics Engineer, whose gimmick is that she is VERY forgetful and apologizes regularly because of it), in order to try and play the hero for everybody in the killing game (after all, the Ultimate Robotics Engineer would OBVIOUSLY have something to do with the virtual killing game), only to end up dying, knowing that he killed an innocent.

During Chapter 2, Ranjit (the Ultimate Snake Charmer, who's very chill and laid-back, and probably likes snakes more than people) would send Sora (the snake he has around his neck) to subtly bite Machiko (the Ultimate Heiress, who has a very bratty personality, reminiscent of Hiyoko), thus killing her. However, Nanpo (the Ultimate Bodyguard, who is self-sacrificing to a ridiculous fault and dedicated to protecting Machiko) ends up intervening, and gets bitten by Sora in the process. Nanpo's death would result in character development for Machiko, allowing for her to become more resilient and less dependent on others waiting on her hand and foot.

I have no idea for the plot points of Chapter 3, but Tomohiko (the Ultimate Spray Painter, whose gimmick is that he always speaks in texting lingo and fulfills the "Casanova wannabe" trope common in Danganronpa) and Muzoku (the Ultimate Candy Critic, who has a hyperactive and ditzy personality, a lot like Ibuki Mioda or Satsuki Iranami) will get killed by Ruriko Teshima (the Ultimate Librarian, who’s quiet and stoic, and dislikes talking, unless the subject is books). I just know that Ruriko’s customary Chapter 3 breakdown would be lit.

Much like Chapter 4 of both SDR2 and SDRA2, the remaining students will end up trapped on a floor of the castle, resulting in them starving. Much like with Nekomaru and Gundham, Kiho (the Ultimate Gardener, who is all about positivity and kindness) and Okura (the Ultimate Demonologist, who claims to be the son of the King of Hell, and tries his best to summon him) get together and fight to the death, in order to save the other students from the motive, with Kiho managing to win. The trial would be one of the saddest, I’d be sure of that.

I’d imagine that Chapter 5 would play out much like SDRA2’s Chapter 5, with an unsolvable crime that results in everybody voting incorrectly, before a glitch in the system results in the remaining members of the surviving. In it, Yuna (the Ultimate Con Artist, a very rude and antagonistic person, and would probably be the rival character, if there were trials in the game) would get killed by Yuuma (the Ultimate Illustrator and the protagonist of the game, a stoic yet sarcastic Sora-esque protagonist who eventually exposes herself as an insane Junko-esque character).

Because of Shinichi’s (the Ultimate Lucky Student) Yuki Maeda-esque personality, as well as early hints in the prologue, I believe that he is the Utsuro-esque mastermind with Yuuma being much like Akane.

Finally, the survivors would be Hyosuke (the Ultimate Chessmaster, a very stoic and logical person, who is always thinking of a game plan and analyzing his surroundings), Nariko (the Ultimate Escape Artist and who I believe to be the real protagonist and possibly Shinichi’s twin sister, a girl with a tsundere personality and the only other brain cell in the cast), Machiko, and Kyoji (the Ultimate Weightlifter, a very emotional and easily-angered person who just wants to be friends with everybody).

one aspect im really enjoying is playing with the "secret identities" within the love square!! like all the combos of meeting up between hana(e) and (shuu)mei

my fave so far has been the fake dating chapters between mei and yuuma :3 literally so cute. its like 4 tropes in one couple!! plus the contrast between the badass mei and the shy (but still dependable) hana(e) is adorable!!!

something i've noticed thaat i really enjoy is that hana(e) whille in "girl mode", does a complete personality 180, while mei seems to basically act the same no matter how she looks, simply just more smiley around hana , and i find that contrast really cute! its like hana is hana(e)'s "true" self, or at least the self she wants to be, whereas (shuu)mei is able to be himself no matter what she looks like .. or at least thats the way i've been analysing it

the fake dating chapters were SO cute i get it!!! yuuma standing up for them even if he'd probably get his ass beat afterwards was everything to me. and mei tossing them back into the river msdkgjhjkthksjdgdh her approval of him at that time was so cute too wagh. i think my personal fav set of chapters were the horror movie date and and the mei reveal to yuzuru!! i love shuumei and yuzurus bond so much, its not often i see a deep platonic friendship like that portrayed without it turning into "oh its bc ive had feelings for u the whole time" kind of thing yknow. also terrified mei is just the cutest thing in the world to me i love him!! shes having an awful time!! hana i understand

hana definitely does do a complete flip in personality and becomes more outgoing and comfortable around people as a girl and its rly sweet, presenting as a girl does so much for her and the person he's always wanted to be like i wish her only the best. love how supportive hiyoko's been going so far as to let him keep her girl clothes in her closet djkgsjkgsdh both little sibling charas mean the world to me actually

mei on the other hand definitely isnt much different from his usual shuumei persona other than maybe less rough in line with the "girl" image (though i adore when she starts going beast mode also. i love u mei) and even if at first he only started to become mei in order to get to know hana it seems shes started to enjoy herself in general and its super neat to me. i think about the mei and pride bonus chapter every day of my life its ok girl you can have fun. free yourself!!

though the few interactions between yuuma-mei and shuumei-hana r also super sweet, seeing them let a bit of their hana and mei tendencies slip during those times is super cute i absolutely cannot wait for them to figure it out/reveal themselves at some point :'] also this parallel in particular super funny to me you can really see the yuuma behind hana and shuumei under mei. silly guys

also especially liked the shuumei gang hostage chapter mdskgjdksghj girl went in more excited to investigate paranormal activity forgetting the initial goal then really just walked in and asked to pick him up from an entire gang of violent punks. and actually did. iconic. and shuumei the wet cat ever kjsdgkgdshkj she was rly cute in that chapter he just wants hana to hear him out :']]] lil guys ever

Hmm... I won't be counting anything that goes down in anime because those are funny usually because those depend on the writing (without good writing, a good performance doesn't amount to much). So I will only be counting instances where they are at events or other radio shows. With that being said, this one is kinda tough because a lot of female seiyuu are restricted from saying a lot of things due to societal expectations and management, but I think I managed to make the list fairly regardless.

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka

He definitely isn't funny on purpose some of the time, and most of his funny moments stem from him being uncomfortable or arguably having a bit of a social anxiety moment (same), but I feel like including him on this list is pretty fitting.

Yoko Hikasa

Not just any old hag. Not even just a legendary old hang, but The legendary old hag.

Yuuichirou Umehara

I'm not sure if he's funny on purpose either, but there's this one clip of him passing by someone and the person says to him "Do your best (on stage)!" and he just shouts back, "SHUT UP" which pretty much summarizes his character. He's also the epitome of that Squidward button sometimes where it just says, "I really wish I weren't here right now." Relatable. Same.

Natsuki Hanae

His gaming channel is full of really funny moments, but a lot of the enjoyment faded after the community subtitles were disabled. What if I want to be able to understand the video, YouTube?!

Haruka Tomatsu

She's like a bouncy ball that never stops. Even after giving birth, even the radio show host noted, "She's just as lively as before." She does these funny impressions (hard to explain) and has exposed Tsugu on how he was when they first recorded SAO. "He was slapping himself saying 'CALM DOWN. CALM DOWN.' And he was wearing his clothes the backwards and with the tag sticking out."

Tomokazu Sugita

Yeah, I think you know why he's here. I'm just going to put this here in case anyone wants to be scarred for life.

Rie Takahashi

She made me smile and laugh when I watched the recent RomaKira event. Just like the Kakushigoto event, she was on the listening end to some lines that made her blush and react a ton. It was sweet and funny.

Hiro Shimono

Bro, his chopping board laughter and his dynamic with Hanae and Tsugu are great (I'll never forget that random clip where they accidentally nearly blinded themselves with a light). Shout out to his manager who ate his ice cream!

Mikako Komatsu

I have been watching a lot more clips with her in it, and I always forget how funny she can be even off the screen. She's so lively and speaks her mind a lot (mostly regarding b00bs). Her and Eguchi have gotten into some pretty lively discussions about it (just want to add that being part of the itty bitty titty community isn't a bad thing). I've also been watching her with Tsuda and Kaji on the old K radio show where she sheds insight on what girls talk about to the unknowing. It gets quite crazy there too sometimes.

Yuuma Uchida

He has a really funny laugh, a lively personality, and he seems like such a fun person to be around.

Sally Amaki

Her Twitter page is honestly amazing. You read her English tweets are just like, "I'm in Spain but the s is silent" to her Japanese tweets which are like, "I will be appearing in this broadcast. I look forward to seeing you all there!" Honestly, the duality is amazing. She also gives lessons to both Japanese and English-speakers with the weirdest phrases that people probably won't and shouldn't use IRL.

Mamoru Miyano

The funny man himself. I think this explains itself.

Kana Hanazawa

She's really funny at events sometimes, and her screaming over how she got to marry her husband is both hilarious and incredibly sweet.
