I shouldn't have made this post. It's back in black & white. 😔

I complained earlier this morning in the tags about how my Nintendo Wii is inexplicably being displayed in black & white when I play it (it's not inexplicable - it's called salty air)

Anyway I just turned it on and guess who's suddenly displaying in crisp full color!! 👁️👄👁️

I didn't even touch the cables or anything. istg the best way to fix electronics is to simply complain about it to someone out loud.

Brat.

#How do I shame my Nintendo Wii into playing in color again - but not fuel its need to reverse uno card me #Fuck ai the real intelligence is misbehaving electronics #Y'know years ago I had a dvd player (cord that connected to the tv) that did this too #The most famous incident is when we rented the movie Cast Away #The movie played in color like normal - until the plane crashed and then it was in black & white #And it stayed that way until the scene where Tom Hank's character makes fire - AND THEN IT WAS IN COLOR AGAIN!!#AND WE WERE ALL LIKE 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯!!!#Like this was some Wizard of Oz shit! Such Artistry!! So amazing how the color returned with the flames - really hammered in the emotions!!#And then later I see a trailer on tv for the movie and I'm like. Huh. Because it has scenes from the early island part but they're in color #But we still have the rented dvd so I play it on my laptop and. Wouldn't you fucking know it. THE ENTIRE MOVIE IS IN COLOR #FUCKING COLOR!!#Anyway I still think Cast Away in partially black&white is the superior version #But also #Having electronics by the sea fucking sucks #Although this was mostly an issue with older electronics. Stuff made in the 90s and 2000 #s. Haven't really had an issue with the 2015+ made-stuff. At least not in cable-corroded ways.#Hhhh #My posts #Technology
