Some IceMav head cannons I thought up as I drank my coffee this morning 💙

I absolutely LOVE icemav fics where there’s some soft domestic fluff in the mornings, like whether they’re 25 or 50, they’ll wake eachother up with soft kisses and snuggles.

Mav bringing Ice his coffee just the way he likes it, as they enjoy the morning before they have to get ready for work or (if they’re retired) maybe read the paper together and decide what to do that day. Ice wants to invite the daggers over for a home cooked brunch because even though he’s the COMPACFLT and acts all tough, he wants the younger pilots (their adopted kids) to have a nice home cooked meal every so often. Ice LOVES to cook for them. Plus he knows from years of experience that mess hall food isn’t always the best.

They love having them all over for game nights too, be it monopoly, life, scrabble, whatever game Maverick decides to pull out from his extensive collection (carrier life isn’t that exciting at times so I imagine he collected alot of board games over the years)

His favorite being an old beat up box of operation he and Goose used to play on the ship for HOURS, the gentle sway of the carrier made it all the more challenging and fun.

Ice even remembers getting wrapped up into a couple games with slider as well, he’s sure he lost hundreds of dollars to Maverick and goose with that damn game over the years 😂

They also like to invite the flyboys over for poker nights, barbecues, movies. Whatever they feel like doing that night.

Hollywood and Wolfman and Slider more than happy to come spend the evening with two of their oldest friends. A couple times they were even able to get Merlin, and Sundown over as well.

They held Cougars first grandkids birthday in their backyard. Complete with bouncy house and everything. Even though ice insisted “Maverick darling he’s turning one….i don’t think he’ll need a bounce house…” which was met with “cmon Tom please!”

Maverick ended up playing in it more than the kids did. And when the Daggers began to flow in you know that thing was filled with pilots. Chaos ensued and let’s just say Ice was worried he wouldn’t get the deposit back. But as soon as he seen the happiness on mavericks and the daggers faces his worried just seemed to melt away.

Wolf even managed to drag Hollywood in at one point.

Maverick loves pictures, he has ever since he was a boy and all he had to remember his parents were some photos. Pictures slowly began to fill their walls and countertops over the years. Old ones of his parents, Him and Goose or Goose and Carole holding Bradley when he was a baby.

Younger pictures of him and Ice, graduating Top Gun and several of their carrier missions that followed.

pictures from every single one of the daggers Top Gun graduations. Bob and Natasha’s wedding, Bradley and Jake’s engagement (soon to be wedding)

He and Ices official wedding photos (after almost 30 years once gay marriage was legalized)

Christmas photos of all of them surrounding the tree, they loved having a big family….it made their hearts soar.

VoicePlay Visuals - what I got wrong (and other cool BTS stuff) (part 1/3)

So for those of you who still are unaware, I'm currently a member of VoicePlay's Patreon (and Geoff's too) (just for a few months), and I've been having an absolutely great time so far, especially in now having access to Behind-The-Scenes (BTS) content of each of VoicePlay's videos!

However, as I was whizzing through the BTS stuff, I was thinking about my VoicePlay Visuals posts, and about some things I said that weren't entirely true - whether I said something I believed to be correct that wasn't, or whether I simply made a wrong guess. I wanted to share my newfound knowledge with all of you (which is fine btw, people share this sorta stuff in the comments section of reaction videos all the time), but I didn't want to go back and edit a bunch of posts or reblog a bunch of them to add addendums, so I thought I'd do a sort of "addendum compilation" instead! (In three parts, just to keep these not too long). I'll also share some stuff where my guess was right, and additional interesting things I didn't originally know/notice. And you don't have to read a bunch of my previous VoicePlay Visuals posts before reading this (and I won't be mentioning every single post/video anyway), but if you wanna find the original posts I refer to, they're linked in each title.

This Is Halloween: "I don't really have anything to say about J's full transformation, but it would be unfair of me to not include him as well, and it's definitely a very impressive costume. Almost like one of those rubbery fully-covering-the-head costume mask things, but like it's his actual face?" - I was pretty close! For the "full Wolfman" look, J was wearing a special prostethic face/mask thing, specially sculpted to fit his face, with just his mouth/chin area left uncovered! - Additionally, Eli's fake chin prostethic thing actually also goes up and over his cheeks, making them look puffier and making them look puffier and "blending" it all together more effectively. - And bonus fun fact: It was apparently Earl who carved all those pumpkins, except for like one that was done by Geoff 😁

Bang!: - Found out what leopard-print article of clothing Layne was wearing! His belt is leopard-print, apparently! (Okay, I can't actually take credit for this one, someone in the comments of the BTS pointed it out and I took their word for it as I forgot to look myself, lol) - The place they filmed the video really did have all those cool backdrops, and so many more, split between two large rooms! - J was the one who got to throw the giant rubber duck at Layne 😝

Butter: "Geoff is looking at his phone, Layne is taking selfies on his phone!" - Not quite! They were both filming! (At one point in the video anyway). The footage they took got included in the BTS video, it's great 👌 - Also the reason the height difference between Layne and Eli in the group shots doesn't look quite as stark as in something like the Wicked Medley is because here Eli was standing on a short wooden box or something like that, not even kidding 😂

Halo Theme: "Those shoes are definitely cool. Who was wearing them, I wonder?" - It was Scott! - Also when that blue pulsating light thing landed on Scott's shoulder in the video (the "red team! blue team!" bit), there was actually a blue light being shone on him from the side to get the proper lighting effect. - (Also did you know that Rek Dunn (whom the video is dedicated to) used to help film some of the BTS content? I realised when I was watching the BTS for the Panic Medley that he was the one holding the camera and talking to the guys for some of the clips)

Wicked Medley: "Love the giant clock backdrop, very cool" - Yeah, turns out the whole background is one giant flat backdrop, and it took like 4 hours to full set up! Man!

"I adore Emoni and Rachel's makeup looks in this one." - The makeup looks even better in natural light! - All VoicePlay videos are filmed after the audio of the covers has been fully recorded/completed, obviously, duh. Often the vocallists will be properly singing at least some of their parts during videoshoots, but the audio all gets dubbed over for the final product. Rachel was purely lip-syncing in this video, because she had lost her voice! Thankfully/obviously it happened after she had finished recording her vocals, but she still did a great job of making it look "realistic" in the actual video.

The Dragonborn Comes: "Apparently what Cesar is wearing is like legit chainmail or something and was fairly heavy. Go big or go home I guess?" - Yep, it weighed 20 pounds apparently (approximately 9 kilograms). In between takes, Cesar would often just lie down on the floor on his back to try and rest/not have to feel so much of the weight, rip - The metal-looking gloves were real as well - they came coated in some sort of anti-rust oil that had to be wiped off prior to filming - And yeah Layne's hair really was a vibrant blue - I'm guessing Rick did it with coloured hairspray or something.

AOT Characters As Evil Things I Have Done

Here is my matching post with Markie’s embarrassing things but since I was more evil than embarrassing you’ll have to make do with this.

Sasha: I bit into crisp packets and smashed the crisps up that my aunt and her kids had hidden whilst staying over at my house and she thought we got mice suddenly. It was me, I was the mouse ✌🏻

Eren: Broke my uncle’s cigarettes and his son got blamed after the third time. ‘Twasn’t his son, ‘twas me. *insert maniacal laugh*

Armin: Whilst staying over at the same aunt and uncle’s house I stayed awake so I could get cold water and pour it in my cousin’s bed to make it look like she wet the bed. I woke up to the sound of her mother yelling at her 😂

Jean: My sister had the hiccups while I was trying to sleep so what did I do? Obviously, I scared her by saying there’s a ghost behind her and because I’m looking at it I can’t move so she has to turn around reallllyyyyy slowly and then it will go away. As she reached the half turn I yelled. Spoiler alert she cried.

Floch: Another sibling scare. When my other sister was 5/6 I made up a being called the Wolfman. This hairy being that could be called via a song “wolfman wolfman are you coming, are you coming? The children are not sleeping, the children are not sleeping. Come get them, come get them” to the tune of frere jacques

Connie: My mum’s brother was showering and my grandmother left clothes out for him which I took and hid. I had hoped to teach him not to take such long showers but he still does.

Annie: Walked into my aunt’s house and then proceeded to kick her son, who was sat on the floor, in the head as a “wwe move”. He cried and I ran back to my grandparents’ house.

Levi: My grandad used to pretend grab us loudmouth grandkids with his cane and one day I used it to grab my cousin, I hooked it on his neck and yanked him over, he fell flat on his face. It was somewhat amusing.

Ymir: I would bribe my siblings to do my chores using expired chocolates because I knew they wouldn’t read the expiry date before eating them. I got my shit done and a way to get rid of old chocolates.

I would like to clarify that the uncle and aunt from the first ones are not nice people and anything that happened they and their kids deserved it. - Kiki.

Holy shit, Naked in New York Ralph is ridiculously so lovely?? Like the floppy dark hair framing his face, then those big dark eyes of his peeking out between the fringe, his slender, small build...This was a Peak Look for him. 

(Just got to find the right TIG to pair him up with. I think Excessive Force “Terry” would have gone absolutely feral for him, haha. But so would KK3 Terry - he was already a total predator anyways.) Maybe they can fight each other. Lol.

Must be the Ralph effect!!

Just the prettiest - it was peak Macchio pretty era.

Honestly, I don't know if it's the hair (the darkness combined with the cut/style) but I always think of snow white.

My favourite pairing is always Excessive Force Terry/TIG and Naked in New York Daniel/Ralph (with KK2 Daniel a close, close second - which Macchio was 23 turned 24 during the shoot).

I have a couple ideas for an actual Chris from NINY and Terry Mccain from EF crossover story and I have some detailed notes on what I wanted to write/say but I will probably never write it - just keep the notes in my WIP docs.

They don’t involve two of the Terrys fighting though.

I do like Behind enemy Lines and Hollow Point TIG. I watched Escape from Alaska recently so i have added that to the list of good choices. There's also something about Valek in John Carpenter's Vampires too, but i'm big on horror and slasher films myself, and vampires and werewolves hold an extra special place in my heart.

I would love to do the old black and white classic Universal Monsters as Terry/Daniel: Dracula, Wolfman, Phantom of the Opera, The Invisible Man, Frankenstein, The Mummy, and Creature From The Black Lagoon.

Mainly because I finally broke and bought the entire 30 film box set collection last year and am gearing up for a rewatch of them for Halloween). I also recently saw the invitation which had its flaws but man, was I thinking this is perfect for Silverusso the entire time (imagining it too), BUT given what it was about (don't want to spoil it in case the handful of people who read my posts want to see it lol) - it also reminded me about the original monsters idea.

But, i'm going off the rails. Back to the actual question (but not really)

The basic premise for the crossover was:

Terry goes into the bust to get Dimarco (the bad guy - a mob type)

Shit goes wrong but Chris saves him then he tries to run and hide

Terry catches him up but sees he is terrified

He takes him to the police station and Chris spills that he’s Dimarco’s boy

And hates Dimarco - wants to be free of him but he’s too afraid to testify

Terry knows he can get him to turn informant and offers to Protect him

So Chris agrees and goes home with him

And then, well 😏

Terry helps him with his abusive ex issues and maybe they fall in love - maybe (cause I’m super soft like that).

There are more notes but that was the general idea - although I did make side note that I could swap out Dimarco for Terry but ultimately with two characters named Terry that would obviously look the same / would get too annoying 😂 😊
