༘۠ hyunjin x artist! m!reader
༘۠ falling in love + nsfw + one night stand + fan (hyunjin) x artist (reader) + masturbation + teasing + getting together
༘۠ a/n; nothing else to add, just that the nsfw is more like a flashback than full blown smut
“this week’s biggest news! artist y/n is doing a world tour! the rising artist had caught a lot of attention not only from his new album that has reached top fifty on the billboard charts but also prying eyes from his recent attendance at a fashion event in seoul, korea! the artist has spoken about his—”
hyunjin zones out after half of the video. the video of y/n smiling catching his full attention. you have a beautiful smile, one he had fallen in love with even more the moment he saw you in person at the fashion event. up until now he’s only been seeing you through his phone, hoping for a chance in his schedule to visit your concerts and get an autograph.
“how about i sign you instead of this picture?” you ask with a mischievous grin.
“—the artist is dropping his tour list today at eight pm. comment down where you live and if you’re excited to hear his newest album in person!”
hyunjin look at the time at the top of his phone screen. it’s 6:30 am right now. which means the tour list already dropped. he quickly goes to your instagram and squeals at the sight of the post. his eyes rack the list but his smile falters after a while. you’re going to the usa, italy, portugal, germany and spain. not korea. of course, no one really comes to korea. he sighs, turning his phone off and staring out into the darkness of his room.
“i’m sorry?” he asked, confused at what you had said. “sign me?”
immediately, a paper is held up to hyunjin by a man standing next to y/n. hyunjin recognizes the paper, he doesn’t even have to read what’s on it. he knows. he looks up at you, startled and bewildered. is this… for real?
he had managed to get you on the way to the restroom. the event was still going, everyone is still sitting and socializing. he turns to his own escort. he’s never been in this situation, he himself has never asked a fan to sign the nda contract. as exhilarating as this is, it’s also very… embarrassing.
“hyunjin, right?” you ask, snapping him out of his mental turmoil. “don’t you want to get to know me?”
hyunjin swallows, “pen?”
the sight of your grin growing makes him want to combust in the spot.
he turns over, groaning out of embarrassment. did he have to sound so stupidly nervous? he can’t complain though, at the end of the day he got to experience something even better with you. the memory itself makes him a hot mess. all he had asked was when your new album would drop. he made conversation for once because it was literally a once in a lifetime opportunity.
and well…
the hotel. you were escorted to the hotel thirty minutes away from the event. the whole event you kept glancing at him. eye fucking him. not just him though, he was aware of everyone else eyeing him — yet, your eyes were what mattered most to him. he’s smiling to himself, biting his thumb until the time arrives.
he even texted felix, letting him know he’s on the verge of throwing up from nerves. all he received was a ‘liar, stop being delusional’. to which he replies with a picture of you serving him a glass of wine.
he pulls up that exact picture, eyeing your side profile. your hands— “oomf,” he groans, shoving his face into the pillow. those same hands that roamed his body.
he doesn’t exactly know what to say, he just listens to you talk. yet, his eyes are on you hand. the rings that decorate your fingers. you have one on each finger except the thumb.
he asked about it after you finish talking about how the event security did another artist dirty. you pause, looking at him intensely before smiling.
“it’s more aesthetically pleasing that way. don’t worry though, i’ll have my hands clean for you.” he stares at you with wide eyes as you lean in, after all, i want to feel you under them.”
and he leans in to kiss you.
hyunjin turns his phone off again, screaming into his pillow. the nerve he had! to kiss you! what if you thought he was desperate. well, regardless, what’s done is done. you had him and he had you. the desperation was both sided…
“you know you’re beautiful, right? why say it?” you say as you slide your hands up his inner thighs, feeling the firmness of his muscles. “you’re already a work of art,” he whines when your hand grazes his hardened member. “let me add some final touches though.”
you kiss his jaw, slowly going further down his neck. there’s a spot that get a gasp out of him. you kiss and lick, humming and moaning at his noises. he sounds so beautiful. you kiss down his collabone, his chest. as you reach his nipple, you bring your other hand up to his neck. the weight of your hand— ringless, because you had taken them off before bringing him to the bed— making him whimper. you suck and nibble on his hardened bud. he jolts and writhes under you, you have to add some pressure on his neck to get him to behave.
it’s hot. really hot. hyunjin almost cums from your attention alone. you kiss further down, your hand leaving his neck and coming down to his thighs. he gasps and buckles his hips when you kiss his leaking tip.
“don’t worry pretty,” you breathe out, smiling at how undone he’s becoming in your hands, “you’ll get what you want.” and you take him in your mouth.
hyunjin moans as he cums in his hand. he goes limp on his bed, airy breaths leaving his mouth. he closes his eyes, the last smile you threw at him before leaving the hotel replaying in his head. he remembers how weak his legs were after hours of you pounding him into the sheets. after coming four times and the aftercare that came with it.
it was so much.
yet so little.
——
weeks pass by. months. hyunjin is stuck reminiscing on the past, at some point he doesn’t. his schedule gets hectic again. there is hope though. hope that one day you two could do something again or maybe just text. it’s not possible though, his management wouldn’t allow it unless the two of you undergo some sort of process. which sucks.
he’s being delusional, especially now with how he was told two months ago that they will be attending an award ceremony. the billboard awards.
the practice is crazy. the schedule is hectic. he wants to barf at some point because you’re going to be somewhere near his seat and the thought alone makes him nervous. will you treat him indifferently? will you act like nothing happened?
“you good?” felix asks, snapping him out of his thoughts.
they’re backstage now, ready to perform.
“i wanna throw up,” he confesses, giving felix a look.
the younger catches on fast. almost everyone in the group already knows now, his anxiety as the day of the awards drew near was too worrying. they all assured him they’ll have his back, yet he still doesn’t know what he’ll do if he really does become another person on your list that was a one time thing. obviously, it’s better for both of you for it to not repeat.
yet, he can’t help but be hopeful. as much as he knows it’s for the best… as much as he knows that the contract strictly says this will not be repeated… why is his heart so yearning?
he doesn’t mean to. he looks across the stage and glides over the countless faces before them when they finish their stage.
“wonderful work out there!” their managers yell out as they all file backstage. “if anyone needs to use the bathroom go now.”
“i’m good,” seungmin shrugs.
“come with me?” felix asks hyunjin, who nods.
hyunjin and felix are the only ones that go. felix happily praises him for “not spilling your guts out! see? all good!”
hyunjin rolls his eyes and shoves felix into the stall. he waits outside by the sinks, looking at himself in the mirror. he’s damp with sweat, his hair is still a little messy, they’ll do touch ups once they return.
the door opens, he’s not a social person, so he shies away and doesn’t dare look at the person.
“hey hyunjin,” you say loud enough for him to hear. he turns around, almost getting whiplash. you were standing before him, smiling warmly. “you look great,” you grin, “i’ve always wanted to see you perform…”
“ah, th-thank you, you perform in a bit, r-right?” hyunjin can’t believe it.
“yeah but…” you look around, “we could perform something else together later…”
hyunjin blinks. he wants to be swallowed up whole right now. felix is here. “i- uh…”
“hey, sorry, i don’t want us to just be hooking up… it’s hard to get past your management,” you hum, “let’s stay in contact. i liked talking to you, yeah we had fun but i like hearing your stories.”
hyunjin swallows, “ah yeah… me too, um, i could fight something out for us.”
“i’ll give you my personal number,” you offer, “just for you.”
you’re a lot closer now. he looks down at your lips, “okay, i’d like that.”
“awesome, good to know we’re on the same page.” you chuckle. “wanna wish me good luck on the stage?”
hyunjin can’t help but give you a look, “you don’t need luck, y/n.” he leans in and pecks your lips, “a kiss yes, but luck?”
you’re quite taken aback, really. yet, you grin, “yeah, i need you more.”
“ah, my teammate is here,” he ushers, panicked.
“ah,” you laugh. “okay then, one more kiss will do just fine.”
hyunjin’s heart could practically leap out of his chest.
and he kisses you, arms around your neck. he doesn’t want to let go, but with how sweet you’re being, he knows he’ll see you a lot sooner again. the hug you give him feels so good, he wishes you two had more time.
later, when you win an award. the words that come out of your mouth makes him want to die then and there.
“-and i also want to thank that person that gave me a good luck charm before coming here. i was good with just that but now having this award it feels like i have it all, thank you all for supporting me until now! i hope you continue to support me!”
felix’s side eye is something hyunjin might never live down.

Eat The Rich
Jay X Y/N
Genre: Romance/Angst/ Fluff
Word Count: 4K+
Warning: extremely suggestive, profanity, hatred against the rich, discusses the male gaze, violence and possession.
Synopsis: As your boyfriend, Park Jongseong, takes you to one of his high-stakes business events, you find yourself enduring the pretentious, cutthroat atmosphere of the dinner. You're determined to maintain his reputation, especially since he's trying to win the favour of a powerful chaebol. But things become hazy when the blonde chaebol's gaze lingers on you for too long.
<3<3<3<3
The large dining hall was illuminated with ambient candles and dim yellow chandeliers, an aura of sophistication and formality enveloping the expanse. Blue orchids occupied every table followed by a bottle of champagne, wine glasses and plates full of rich seafood such as smoked salmon with caviar and potato pancakes. The air was disturbingly thick with branded scents wafting off people, mixing with the smell of fish and flowers.
The massive hall suffocated you, making you clench your purse tighter.
High-society events had always sounded uncomfortable, but nothing could have prepared you for this trainwreck. It felt like a battle of the wealthy: women draped in brands you'd never heard of, exchanging fake laughs and snide remarks as they clung to their cashmere shawls, beaded with pleated gold—at least, that’s what you were told. If you had the choice, you’d never again breathe near these oblivious, high-nosed women, flaunting their lavish lifestyles, all thanks to their hardworking husbands.
They seemed untouchable, speaking the language of arrogance. They reminded you of your felines—aloof and haughty, exuding an air of superiority but ultimately ignorant.
As you sat there, dolled up in your tight-fitted dress, the thought of eating the rich lingered in your mind. You'd come across the phrase on social media and analyzed it through the lens of an unbiased journalist, but now, you couldn’t help but draw drastic conclusions.
Their world felt grotesquely split—luxury on the surface, emptiness beneath. They wore their generational wealth like a costume, but without it, they were nothing more than overgrown children in oversized suits, throwing around big words with small minds. Theatrical, pretentious, drowning in self-importance. Strip away the pretence, and they were exposed—hollow, unremarkable, and utterly unaware of how insignificant they truly were.
You desperately avoided these events. So what if your boyfriend, Park Jongseong, is one of the businessmen, featured in Times magazine as the hottest emerging entrepreneur in South Korea? A mere student of journalism, unfamiliar with the highs and lows of elitist culture, surely adds nothing to such obnoxious events.
But this time, he dragged your misfit ass to accompany him and formally introduce yourself to the crowds.
Jay was required to attend such events and ever since he told you about the women throwing themselves at him, you couldn’t help slip into an elegant dress and rush to join his side.
You paused, lips thin against the rim of your glass as you caught sight of your boyfriend in a black suit, wearing a blank expression on his face as a domineering aura surrounded him. You could tell he liked the gathering just as much as you did with the way his gaze was stoic and lips sealed.
This was the first time you had agreed to join him in such an event and you were glad you did.
He looked awfully handsome, his chocolate eyes brimming glowing in the hall's darkness. Sharp jawline set in a stiff smile and lips pink and wet from his drink as he nodded at his seatmate’s words. He was the centre of attention, not just because of his appearance but also his charming character.
Park Jongseong was the sole owner of X company, a name now included in the world’s largest food industries. Jay worked his way up the ladder despite having zero connections to big shots in the marketing industry. He worked with integrity and preserved quality in his brand. It was hard to access bigger doors in this dog-eat-dog world, but your boyfriend’s dedication to his craft and refusal to compromise on ethics bore the seeds of success.
Whilst most companies undermined him, the public seemed to appreciate his rigidity and soon he was opening up branches all over the world. Garnering praise from overseas magazines, every businessman was wary of his character. He had started at the bottom of the chain and earned his way up, struggle after struggle.
You were so proud to call him yours.
“My husband wanted to donate to the local NGO, but I was against it because we already paid for the church reconstruction. We take part in various charitable events, you see.”
How were the two situations remotely related? You wanted to voice out your distaste. Instead, you bit your tongue and smiled bitterly.
You searched for your boyfriend on the other table and noticed his curious gaze already trained on you. He carefully read your expression and immediately caught onto your discomfort, rising from his seat to approach you.
You watched narrowly as he crossed the large expanse, grabbed your hand and tugged you towards him. The five ladies on the table quickly quietened, jaw parting in disbelief as they greeted Jay in coy and shy voices. They sounded sugary sweet as if they weren’t already married; it made you want to smack them in the face with their Hermes bags.
Jay wrapped his arm around your waist, nodding at the ladies but never sparing them a glance as he led you away. You almost flipped off the flustered women but restrained yourself, knowing you couldn’t afford to smear Jay’s reputation by falling into a girly scuffle.
“You gotta pay me back for saving your ass back there,” he whispered against your ear, and chills quickly ran along your spine. You laughed at the smirk developing on his face.
“I didn’t need any saving,” you huffed, your challenging gaze daring him to say otherwise. He pinched the bridge of his nose with a soft smile, “We’ll see about that at home.”
Your stomach flipped.
Jay casually pulled you to his table and sat you down beside him, securing an arm behind your chair.
You instantly tensed up, surveying the intimidating circle of important looking people staring your way. Jay was currently sitting around huge business tycoons and their spouses.
A blonde man sitting opposite Jay caught your eye, and you froze. One of the most important men of the night, an old chaebol sat across from you, the man Jay was bidding on for future collaborations to invest in his dream project. Though nepotism was widespread, like an infectious disease in today’s world, these dinners were held to offer a chance for rising stars to socialize and build connections.
You straightened up your spine and flashed a soft smile.
“This is my girlfriend, Y/N.”
“Oh, young love!” One of the older couples gleefully chimed, and you smiled bashfully. “Aren’t they adorable?” Jay held the woman’s softened gaze.
“How wonderful to have such a young charming man all to yourself,” a middle-aged lady, sat beside her husband, covered in an expensive leopard fur coat claimed, an envious smile straining her wrinkles.
You nodded, but Jay shook his head dismissively.
“I’ve always been the lucky one.”
You felt a wave of emotions hurl up in your chest.
Jay spent long, struggling for every minuscule opportunity, and he deserved every ounce of the success. You were merely fortunate enough to love him through it all. For him to blatantly praise you before such a crowd, it tugged at your heart and made you want to cover him in kisses.
Since you’d met him, you were certain that nothing was unattainable when a man as keen and passionate as Park Jongseong stood by your side. You were definitely the luckier one.
You wanted to throw away everything to make him happy.
“How beautiful.”
Caught off guard, you spun to the origin of the voice. The chaebol, was staring—gawking at you.
With complacency in his tone and a sickening smirk on his lips, you suddenly felt under the spotlight.
“Are you currently studying?” He slurred, his accent becoming thicker with intent.
You felt chills run down your spine as you noticed his pupils wandering to your cleavage. You shifted in your seat, feeling regretful at your choice of dressing. It wasn’t even obscene, a casual midi dress with a silver of collarbone and the tiniest hint of cleavage. Nothing newsworthy. Yet you felt putrid.
You never wanted anyone to stare at you like that. It made your insides crawl. It made you feel insignificant, demoralized and inferior.
You knew his intentions were foul, but you refrained from showing a slight hint of it in your demeanour. It didn’t matter. You wouldn’t see him ever again after tonight, and this was Jay’s only chance at securing a life-changing deal, forming a once-in-a-lifetime connection.
You gulped and smiled indifferently.
“Journalism,” you responded dryly and blinked away.
You noticed Jay’s hand clench into a fist under the table and panic rippled in your chest. You quickly rubbed at his knuckles, fear racking your head as you flashed a nervous smile.
You knew better than to tick him off. Jay would singlehandedly destroy anyone who looked at you with ill intentions. You were a witness to it once at a party.
Wasted after a university gathering, a man tried to take you home despite your continuous rejection. Your friends saw your discomfort and dialled up your boyfriend’s number, who immediately took off with Heeseung’s motorbike and arrived like a thunderstorm, knocking the man’s front tooth out. With bloodied knuckles and a scowling face, you remembered him screaming in the alleyway as the cops came to the man’s rescue.
Poor Heeseung was left stranded in the middle of a worksite drenched in pouring rain. When you asked Jay why he opted for a bike instead of his car, he said the traffic was at its worst and had he taken his car, he’d have a hit-and-run case on his back trying to get to you.
“Jay,” you muttered, your mind going blank as you noticed the awakening demon in his eyes; his predatory stare trained at the man, his jaw clenched.
You suddenly wanted to evaporate. You tried to appease him as you stroked his knuckles, your soft skin gliding against his callous one. He gripped your hand tightly but kept his drilling gaze trained on the blonde man.
“Journalism? A beauty with brains.” His eyes were hazy and tone lousy due to heavy alcohol consumption.
His eyes again feasted at your exposed skin and you shrunk into your chair, your heart clashing against your chest.
“Lower your gaze.”
Dead silence.
The smiles dropped like a domino effect as men shifted in their seats, discomfort straining their wrinkled features. The males were used to the chaebol’s indecent behaviour… some even welcomed it— what’s a few demeaning remarks towards their women if they’ll win the favour of the world’s richest man?
The blatant call out and Jay’s scornful gaze had everyone sweating in their formal suits. The tension grew thick, and your throat tightened in alarm. Your hold on Jay’s hand grew tighter, forcing him to look at you.
“I’m fine, don’t do anything rash.”
But it seemed like your plea went through him, unheard.
His tense fist and determined stare directed at the chaebol made you realize that another word from the blonde would get Jay spiralling. You had to get out of here before it was too late.
You gave his hand another squeeze.
“Excuse me, I’m heading to the washroom,” you hurriedly announced, flashing Jay a complacent smile.
You didn’t look back as you hurried to the washrooms. You planned on spending the rest of the night in the lavatory since the party was awfully disappointing.
You wanted to be with Jay but not under the current circumstances. The blonde pervert was the most influential in this field and this country, and you wanted to do nothing that sabotaged your boyfriend’s future goals.
You locked yourself in one of the stalls and sat down annoyedly.
It was supposed to be a fun night out with your boyfriend.
You didn’t know a rich party full of influential businessmen was just a pathetic battle of the egos. To think, you skipped catching up with your favourite anime for this bullshit party. You grumbled spitefully, massaging your forehead in slow circles, hoping to ease the building ache.
“Excuse me,” you heard a shrill voice call out as someone knocked from outside.
You sat up alarmed.
“Yes?” You replied unsurely.
“I think your boyfriend is outside waiting for you.”
You jumped up, your eyes zeroing as you whipped the door open.
A brunette-haired woman you recognized as the server stood before you. “You’re Mr. Park’s girlfriend, right? He asked me to check inside for you,” she smiled and stepped to the sink, resuming to wash her hands.
You rushed for the door and yanked it open.
As expected, your boyfriend was stationed against the wall, his eyes already on yours, needy and impatient. He pulled you close to him, his fingers grazing your exposed neckline as he breathed you in.
“We’re going home,” he announced against your neck.
You nodded hesitantly, aware of his turmoil. You knew your boyfriend’s instincts were borderline predatory when he suspected your discomfort; it must have taken everything in him to not stalk over to the chaebol and smack him in the face.
Jay grabbed your hand and marched out to the hall.
The hall grew painfully silent like a funeral as you made your way down the carpet. Confusedly, you looked around, noticing everyone staring. Thick, suffocating tension persisted in the air as if a fire was brewing. It seemed like everyone had something to say but they were holding back. You looked back at your boyfriend, but he marched ahead, unaffected.
Anyone you passed, you heard a brief gasp escape their chest. You wondered what had happened for everyone to be so horrified and meek around him.
Your gaze fearfully drifted to the table with the chaebol and your heart dropped in your stomach. A dark red bruise circled the chaebol’s right eye, his pupil dilated and trembling with fear.
When you both were in the car park, you pulled at his arm, a gasp ringing loud.
“Jay, what the fuck? How could you attack him?” You gasped, finding it hard to process what you had just seen. He didn’t respond, keeping a moderate pace towards the car.
“Jay, I’m talking to you!” You shrieked, voice trembling with horror.
He finally halted in his tracks and turned towards you, his eyes burning with seething anger, his fists still clenched, a bluish bruise starting to form on his right knuckles.
“We need to get out of here before I do something much worse,” he spat, staring at you like a madman, running a hand through his gelled hair, voice thick with anguish.
You felt frustration building in your chest and your eyes burned with tears.
“That deal…” Your voice trembled. “Do you think he’ll let this go? He won’t—!” You cried, your head pounding.
You clung to his arm. “Let’s go back inside and apologise—”
Jay jerked his arm free, his knuckles turning white as he clenched his fists. “Apologise? Have you lost your mind?” His voice boomed across the empty lot, his gaze piercing through you like poison.
“You’ve worked so hard Jay!”
Jay was adamant about establishing himself. Never losing sight of his goals, he spent a year giving his all to his startup.
He earned investments after sacrificing sleep, lunch, date nights and family dinners. His whole universe revolved around his dream; most nights, he didn’t even sleep in the comfort of his bed because of the calls he’d get from investors demanding more insight.
You loved him so much, so much that you were always supportive. His absence made you lonely, but you restrained those urges because it was best not to bother him.
You internally ached for him.
Slowly, the ache started to disappear when he came back.
After successfully earning a huge investment, everything evolved. It was like his pot of love flooded and spilt everywhere, unable to be contained. He stopped working excessively. He dropped everything to come pick you up after your lecture, sometimes even accompanying you to the library for long study sessions. He became so clingy, so needy for your presence, it drove you insane—in the best way.
“Why are you crying?” He grimaced, his gaze softening as he watched tears flow down your cheeks.
“Because!” You croaked, tone flaring with temper.
“How could you ruin this?” You screeched, your face beat red and wet as you emptied out your heart. You were so angry and frustrated; you wanted to physically shake Jay into oblivion. “After this deal, you would’ve been unbeatable!” You threw your hands in despair.
Jay huffed, his eyes wide and crazed, pinning you down, holding you captive. “You care about my fucking investments right now?” He sounded hurt as well, his voice so quiet, you could tell he was boiling.
“Yes!” You cried. “After you’ve worked so hard for it… sacrificed so much of our time for it!” As soon as you said the words, the darkness in his eyes grew tumultuous.
Jay stepped close and before you could register it, he grabbed your wrist and slammed you to the car, his arms immediately cushioning the hit, protecting you from the impact. A loud clash echoed as he pinned you beneath him, his breathing heavy, his eyes glazed.
“I’ve worked so hard, day after day, so you can stand next to me without shame.”
Thoughts racing through you suddenly grew dull… silent like a breeze in the abyss. The silence stretched until you could hear his harsh breaths echo through your frame.
He gulped down a flood of things he must’ve wanted to say, instead he cupped your jaw, caressing your face.
“You deserved someone strong and I was so pathetic back then.” His words felt like acid flowing through your ears.
“Working shifts at the grill and serving bars in the night,” his voice cracked as his hold on your jaw tightened. “It was pathetic…” he reiterated, browns in his eyes becoming liquid.
Each word pained you more than you could imagine. Your heart broke as he reminisced about your early years at university when he working minimum wage to pay for his tuition. It was around the time you were enthralled by him, the studious senior, always sat alone, at the far end of the library with his nose in some business book.
Sleep-deprived eyes, a languid smile and a date to his workplace were enough to get you head over heels in love with the man.
“Jay, I was never ashamed—how could you even think—” You felt choked up. Words seemed to have failed you.
Jay blinked back his tears. “I was unworthy, and it made my blood boil.” He traced your bottom lip with his thumb. “Heeseung hyung said I should give you up. It was an easy way out… but the thought of that kept me up at night.”
Your jaw dropped—Heeseung had told him to let you go, and he'd kept it from you.
“The fact that he even mentioned that made me sick—gave me nightmares. It was a reality check,” he growled, his breaths strained as he thought back to the memory. “That night, I decided to be worthy of you. I decided no one on this fucking planet will ever think of separating us.”
“Because you’re mine. I can give up this entire world but never you,” he whispered, and his mouth lowered, finding your neck.
“Jay, you were never any of that—you were everything I needed,” you gasped as he kissed down your neckline.
“W—Why didn’t you ever tell me?” You bit your lips, restraining the adulterous sounds as Jay’s lips pressed a trail of wet kisses before he bit into a sensitive region. His tongue slickly traced the bite mark across the neckline as he tasted you to his fulfilment.
“Because you don’t need to worry about it,” he rasped, his heavy pants taking over your mind, making you twitch and shudder in his hold.
“I’ve achieved enough to protect you,” he whispered against your skin and dropped wet kisses down to your cleavage.
“I want to rip his filthy eyes out for looking at you,” he snarled, the bitterness and rage returning. His eyes remained on yours, watching you throw your head back as he painted you a darker shade of red.
His kisses grew desperate and needy—his grip on your waist tight.
Your body reacted on its own, curling into his heated frame.
He finally leaned up and connected his mouth with yours. It was unlike any other. He was usually gentle with your mouth, calling your lips two pretty petals, but in the darkness of his anger, he was swallowing you whole. He invaded through the gap and sucked at your tongue, his neck craning to the side as he meticulously drained your mouth.
Everything felt hot, from his heavy breath to the hand digging in your waist to his intense gaze harbouring a storm; it was everything.
You felt guilty for letting him do this in a public car park where anyone could walk in and watch a show. But it also felt so euphoric, to have him feasting on you like his last meal.
Jealous and angry Jay made your stomach pool.
“You’re gorgeous for me—how dare that fucking crook stare?” His saliva pooled down your neck as he dug his teeth into your breast. A dry gasp escaped your mouth, your eyes falling shut in pleasure.
“Jay,” you breathed, your body aching with want.
Your breathy words were enough to send him spiralling. He started to push himself into you, sucking your flesh like honey would melt on his tongue.
You felt him.
He was so brutally turned on; your legs felt weak as his masculine scent assaulted your senses. He supported your waist, digging his nose into your hair, inhaling you.
You were so heated that when you heard a heel clicking against the marble floor, your mind was elsewhere, refusing to comprehend it. You were completely overwhelmed by the woody scent of his cologne, the heat of his mouth and hard centre pushing into your pelvis. It would be embarrassing to get caught, but you were overwhelmed, so overwhelmed with him.
Suddenly, you were knocked out of your trance as Jay jerked back, his gaze pained and hazy with longing. His limbs shook as his chest heaved, his body so rigid, afraid to move or he would fall to the ground.
He clenched at his hair and swore under his breath.
“Get in the car. No one sees you like this,” he ushered.
What was he insinuating? You didn’t have time to ask as he threw an impatient glare. You obediently ran to the passenger seat and jumped inside, your heart clashing against your chest rampantly.
As you caught sight of the front mirror, you realised why your boyfriend had been so adamant. He didn’t want anyone to see your messy hair, hooded gaze, flushed and painted red; you looked lustrous, turned on and oozing with desire.
Jay was beside you the next second, his forehead covered in a thick sheen of sweat and his black strands a sultry mess.
“I can’t drive. I literally can’t feel my legs.”
You threw your head back, bursting out laughing as he glared at you, his pupils dilated and still buzzing with need.
“Shut up before I fuck you in the backseat,” he threatened.
Shut up, you did.
You knew him too well to know that he would actually comply.
You watched him as he sat inhaling and exhaling, a meditating exercise he sometimes used to recover.
After a couple more painful minutes, he finally drove home and you had never seen him drive so fast, breaking all the traffic laws in the rulebook.
“Jay…” You called out as you noted the familiar apartment gate appear.
“Hm?” He nibbled on his lip, steering the wheel as he reversed the car into the garage.
“I will crash Heeseung’s motorbike the next time I see him.” And as he came to a stop, you saw him laugh into oblivion as he hauled you in his arms and hastened towards your flat.
After getting pushed into the bedsheets with a persistent boyfriend devouring you through the night, you laid on his bare chest, drowsy and exhausted, smiling into oblivion.
He looked down curiously, kissing down your spine.
“What’s got you so happy goofball?”
“I have the title for my final.”

Slut!
Jumin was a handsome man. He was dashingly handsome, an eligible bachelor, smart, rich. You managed to capture his heart, however the public did not agree with his view on you. But when you're with him, the sticks and stones they throw freeze mid air, because when it's just you and him, nothing else matters.
(If you couldn't tell already this is Taylor swift inspired, I think that in today's social media climate MC would definitely be criticized simply because people were jealous that she has the one thing they wanted, or people would definitely leave hate comments of some sort. But of course, her sweet, gentle, loving husband to be would smooth the creases between her brows and soothe all her worries.)
1.5k words
Jumin was one of Korea's most famous eligible bachelors, which changed when you waltzed into his life. You seduced him, black mailed him, and had been trained to do this. That was what the media said about you after the news aired the story of Jumin proposing to you at the RFA party. It had been almost a week since then, and the media still did not stop their endless commentary on the event. Of course they did not know what really happened, they thought you were there for money, for fame, for anything besides love. You tried desperately to ignore the comments, but after public outings with your fiance everything only got worse. More people discredited your love, they scrutinized the way you held his hand, the shoes you wore, the makeup applied to your face. It was hard to cope but here, in this moment all of that felt miles away.
The moon was full and high in the sky. It reflected off of his skin and made the pool look ethereal. You sat in Jumin's lap, his soft hands rested at your waist rubbing comforting circles there. He looked beautiful in the moonlight, his nose and dark hair made him look like a prince. You could feel him solid under your fingertips, he was real and he was yours. You whispered and giggled amongst yourselves, sharing kisses and expensive wine while relaxing in the rooftop pool of his penthouse.
“My love, would you like to come to the office tomorrow to have lunch with me? I would love to have you there to give me motivation.” you brushed the strands of wet hair off his forehead and gave him a chaste kiss.
“I would love to babe, it's just..” you trailed off remembering the comments you heard from the women in the bathroom, ‘she's pretty average, probably looks really bad underneath the makeup, she obviously has other assets that attracted him to her if you get what I mean’ they broke out into giggles ‘yeah, she looks like a slut’ another fit of giggles.
Jumin noticed how you went quiet and moved his hands from your waist to delicately cup your cheeks.
“Darling, what's wrong? Please tell me, we can fix whatever it is.” You were hesitant to say anything, out of fear of getting someone in trouble, or making things worse with the media. You quickly smiled at him and hid in the crook between his neck and shoulder.
“Nothing, around what time would you like me to be there?”
“Are you sure? If someone at the office is saying something please tell me. I will take care of it.” Always so protective.
“It's nothing, I promise. Now what time would you like me to be there?”
“Around one, I'll have Mr. Kim come pick you up, are you sure though?”
“Yes Jumin, it's fine no one has said anything, I swear on everything I hold dear” You giggled as gave him a quick kiss and looked back while you sauntered out of the pool to get your towel. He quickly followed behind with the promise of a lovely night.
Around midday the next day you sat in your Pjs still, Jumins side of the bed had long gotten cold and it was just you scrolling through X (formerly twitter). You sat chewing your lip as you read another ridiculous article. You knew they were never good, but some small part of you hoped that someone would write a good article, that could show just even a bit of how much love you and Jumin shared. So sometimes you would stick around and read them, this one was about your age difference. You were 20 and he was 27 although the age gap was not illegal to many it seemed strange, almost predatory on his part, and definitely fetishizing on your part, according to them. When you first fell for each other you didn't consider the seven years between your ages. It was a big talking point for the media unfortunately. Your phone dinged with a notification, snapping you out of your thoughts. Mr. Kim was downstairs waiting and you had been so caught up in the article that you completely lost track of time. You text back a quick apology and explanation before you rush to get ready.
When you arrived to C&R there were a couple of paparazzi already gathered at the door. You felt like sobbing, how did they know about this?
Mr. Kim quickly came by to open your door and shield you from the harsh questions from the reporters and from the dizzying lights of the cameras.
“Mrs. Han, what are you wearing?”
“Mrs. Han, how much do you hope to get out of Jumin Han after your divorce ?” Your heart broke in two pieces.
“Mrs. Han, what do you think about E!News calling you a slut?” Your heart shattered in a million pieces. Tears pooled in your eyes as you walked through the grand glass doors. Jaehee had come down to greet you and as soon as you saw her, you threw yourself in her arms, sobbing.
“What happened, are you alright?” She repeatedly said your name to no avail as tears continued to flow down. She led you to the elevator where she separated herself from you and began to ask questions.
“Do you know who could have possibly sent the paparazzi? What did they say?” After being unsuccessful in her attempts to ask you questions she simply wrapped her arms around you. “You know Mr. Han will have this swiftly handled. I'm sorry this is happening.” The elevator suddenly dinged and you were aware of the fact that you had 5 seconds to make it look like you just hadn't been sobbing. You loved Jumin and the fact that he was so protective of you, but the last thing you needed was him fussing over this, he was already so busy. Your attempts at looking presentable failed and the door opened to reveal Jumin with a soft smile on his face, which quickly warped to worry upon seeing your disheveled state.
“My love, darling, what happened? Are you alright? Did someone hurt you?” He came to sweep you out of Jaehees arms and swiftly ran his hands on your body. He studied your face as you studied his worried expression.
“Mr. Han, there was paparazzi at the front, I'm assuming it had something to do with that.”
“Thank you Jaehee, you're dismissed.”
Jumin led you into his office, you saw the beautiful layout of food the chef had prepared but none of it seemed appetizing. How could they ask you that? How could they basically wish on the downfall of your marriage before it even happened?
“They asked me how much money I wanted to get out of you after our divorce, Jumin…were not even married, how horrible is that?” your voice came out suddenly, barely above a whisper. He quickly came to wrap his arms around you. His warmth was all around you and for a second everything stopped. You could feel his hair tickle the top of your and the scent of his cologne.
“My beautiful angel, I hate to see you cry like this, it makes my heart ache. Please do not listen to them, I will love you forever.” He brushed a stray tear off of your face. You sniffed and buried yourself into him further. “Let's go home okay? I'll take the rest of the day off.” You barely heard what he was saying as he called Jaehee to tell her that he would be taking the rest of the day off, you were too busy trying to get the paparazzis words out of your head.
When you both arrived home Jumin took your coat and purse and guided you into the bedroom. With soft hands and gentle words of affirmation he helped you into your pjs and into bed. He crawled in behind you, he placed your head on his chest. You could feel and hear his heart beating, through all of the horrible thoughts going through your head about what had happened, his heart beat, steady and true, was the one thing that could cut through the noise. You felt his hands smoothing down your hair. You felt at peace for once this entire day, you felt warm and comforted in his arms.
“You will always be the light of my life, no matter what people say, no matter what they wish for us, my love for you will never change ” You looked up to meet his eyes and saw nothing but adoration in them.
“I know Jumin, you're not the problem, it's what they say. It always gets to me unfortunately, but whenever I'm with you I know it's all worth it.” You warmly smiled up at him. You felt complete and whole, in this moment here. No one could take him from you, No one could take you from him. You could feel him rubbing comforting circles on your back, until you drifted off, feeling wholeheartedly content, that he was to be yours for the rest of eternity and that no matter what people said he would always be coming home to you, and you to him.

August 21, 2023 -
Tae goes live shortly after midnight in Korea. Around the :28-:29 mark, you can hear him making a “shhh” sound. We can’t see anything as the screen is black. Then at :35, we can hear someone clearing their throat. Personally, it doesn’t sound like Tae to me, and of course this is speculative of me to assume it’s Jk, but I honestly am starting to think they’re doing these things on purpose😅the reason I think it could be Jk is because he has been sick recently and we’ve heard both of them in the background of the other’s past lives over the years. As always, decide as you like since this is speculative.
Timestamp :28-:29 for shhhing, :35 for throat clearing, or see these links:

https://x.com/koosyoyo/status/1693345812800290943?s=46&t=StSwHjW0_Domk_lHUFMaCg
Also something I want to archive is Tae successively holding up two bottles of wine to the camera.
Timestamp 4:56
It turns out, these bottles were gifted by the actor Lee Byung Hun at the premier of “Concrete Utopia” on August 8, 2023, which Tae attended. (Tae’s Wooga friend, Park Seojoon, featured in the movie). The wine was made for the exclusive event and isn’t for sale.
More info:

https://x.com/startksupporter/status/1693333125030387998?s=46&t=StSwHjW0_Domk_lHUFMaCg
Naturally, people have wondered why Tae was gifted two bottles if he attended the premier alone. While Tae fan bases and Jk fan bases were in attendance, only Tae was seen. Dispatch had also broadcasted a live stream for the two, then had said Jk would be late.
Dispatch - https://twitter.com/davywer/status/1688875333519327234?s=46&t=StSwHjW0_Domk_lHUFMaCg
Tae’s and Jk’s names were also both in the lineup of confirmed guests.
https://twitter.com/taegerbun/status/1688897245595459584?s=46&t=StSwHjW0_Domk_lHUFMaCg
We never saw Jk, and we could speculate and theorize as to why that is, but for the indefinite time being we simply don’t know. But it is interesting Tae was gifted two bottles of wine, so consider that as you will!
The final moment I wanted to point out from this live is when Tae was asked if he’s been working out, he rolls up a sleeve to show us his bicep. He then glances off camera, pouts and looks down. There were times he glanced around, but that’s a natural reflexive trait of humans. However, this specific time point had me wondering if he was reacting to someone off camera.
Timestamp at 5:55
Unfortunately I lost the TW links I had of the above moment, but see these at IG:

Also please let’s stop complaining about them going on tours and not acting, they see all those comments of fans and it’s heartbreaking that Apo had to addressed the whole issue. If the boys wanna tour the world and do their weird little dances, let them do it please, it might not be everyone cup of coffee.
Most of the brand endorsement that they are getting now came out from those tours, they were building their connections across those countries. E.g
The Singapore Dior event and the magazine shoots Apo went for, also the wine event Bbb attended in Singapore came from those tours. Jeffbarcode was also casted since when they were in Korea. I know we want to see them act and we miss them but let’s stop complaining about the tours.

beenzino - 990 (english lyrics translation)
this is just my interpretation of what 990 is, but the first thing that came to mind is New Balance 990 which is a model of a shoe that Beenzino participated in promoting. this could be an entry of events in his life that happened while he was wearing the shoe
on the other hand, 990 could also represent the maximum score one could get on their TOEIC exam, (Test of English for International Communication) an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native speakers. It is a test that students in Korea study really hard for, and getting a high grade is important for their future prospects. this interpretation is more used in Ximya's verse, where he talks about the casteing based on material aspects such as academic background. at the end of the day, his last line iterates that even if you get full marks, a whole 990, you won't be able to reach Nirvana because there are more things to life than the number on the exam paper.
굽이 굽이 굽이 굽이 굽이 ay ay 굽이 굽이 굽이
골목길에 내 990
a curvy alley, my 990
굽이 굽이 그 새낀 센 척해도 후 불면 쓰러질 것만 같아
after acting strong that fucker looks unstable and faint
유혹에 너무 약하지 늘 뱉은 말에 반대
unlike the words he always spit, he is weak against temptation
이 비트 들어보면 막 뱀이 나올 것만 같은데
after listening to this beat it feels like a snake is going to come out
but 난 뼈로 컨트롤하지
but im controlling it with my bones
내 삶은 모든 게 내 맴대로 되게 했지 through this rap game
through this rap game, everything in my life has gone the way I wanted
그대로 떠나버렸지 난 스웨덴으로 수학여행
and just like that I left to go on a school trip in Sweden
사람은 숨 쉬어야지 this ain't rocket science
people need to breathe this ain't rocket science
틀에 처박혀 살았다면 뭘 해도 남다른 게 나오겠냐고 이게 내 과학
if i lived in a frame, I can’t do anything special, that’s my science
isn't it so fucking obvious motherfucker?
이제 내 날개인 너네 중 누구가 와도 절대 못 꺾어
now none of you can break my wings
언제나 내 시연 전방에
my eyes are always looking forward
내 차 기름은 전기로 충전되지 네 기름통엔 과거밖에 없지
the gas in my car is electrical while your gas tank only has the past
몇 방울 남았나 확인해 내 wine bottle
check how many drops are left in my wine bottle
독일에서 산책해 라마랑 새 파트너가 된 뉴발 신고 난 풀밭을 밟아
taking a stroll in Germany** with Lamar* and my new partner**, wearing New Balance and treading on grass
*famous rapper Kendrick Lamar
**Beenzino’s wife Stefanie Michova is German
나도 열어야겠어 세미나 왜 이렇게 내 삶이 재밌냐면
i have to open up a seminar to explain why my life is so fun
조금 돌아가도 언제나 straight up 예술로
even if I go back in time a little, it is always straight up art
they don't know
굽이 굽이 굽이 굽이 굽이 ay ay 굽이 굽이 굽이
골목길에 내 990 굽이 굽이
a curvy alley, my 990
should've went to law school
여긴 전부 도놈 새끼들
over here are all the thieves and fuckers
Cut Backs 앞에 바로 Fuck Rap
in front of Cut Backs is Fuck Rap
*when a company is facing financial difficulties, they have to make cut backs to cut losses. in this case, Ximya is saying that when times get rough, rap is the first to go. Ximya has stated on multiple occasions that rapping no longer appeals to him as a profession. In the next line, however, we can see that he is conflicted about retirement with all the pseudos in the scene.
절이 싫은 중 떠나질 못하네 나의 중도
even if i hate it halfway, i couldn’t leave my middle school
맞지도, 맞지도 않지도 Fuck em pseudos
even when their right, even when they’re wrong, fuck em pseudos
I stutter money but money speaks fluent
*a twist on “money speaks for itself”. Ximya implies that even if his speech is muddled or unclear, his money will get his meaning across.
i am the honey, but money is the glucose
*honey is composed mainly of glucose and fructose. Ximya is saying that in the end, the parts that make up his being is, again, money.
나는 원했고 여긴 원하는 것 죽여버려
kill what you and everyone here wished for
그냥 네가 원하는 건 좆도 묻어버려
just bury your dick all you want
여긴 외모 재산 학력으로 caste-ing
they perform caste-ing* here based on your appearance, properties, academic background
*caste system is an old social hierarchy system where they separate people into ranks and are treated differently
1000 중에 990
990 out of 1000
너도 나도 Sudra
me and you are Sudra*
*Sudra is the lowest rank of the caste system
대세와는 정반대
the exact opposite of the current trend
여긴 겉만 부드러워
it is only soft here
흩뿌려버릴 새끼들
sprinkling fuckers
부름 앞에 수그려
bow down in front of the summon
i stutter money but money speaks fluent
그게 너의 신 나는 나무아미타불
that’s your God, I’m Namu Amitabha
fuck being beings
모든 게 조건 뒤에
behind all the conditions
990가지 열반 못 가는 지혜
there are 990 kinds of wisdom that will not reach Nirvana

Y'all would have been tickled by the squeaks I made when I saw this on Yeol's Instagram.
Apparently he is taking part in some sort of cultural exchange event, one of a series (the caption above reads "2022-2023 Korea-Kazakhstan Year of Cultural Exchange"; and now you know that "Kazakhstan" in hangul is 카자흐스탄). I have no idea how long he's going to be in the country, or how much he's going to get to see of it (probably not much beyond Almaty), or whether he's going to meet any of my Kazakhstani faves. I would put the odds as low but if he does post selfies with Ninety One I will kvell.
(...pretty sure he's taller than all of them except maybe Bala.)
(Last musing: between this, the drinking with a politician I'd never heard of after getting out of the army, and all the joking about his developing a taste for wine and golf, I'm starting to wonder if Sungyeol isn't thinking of entering politics someday. He's got the brains for it, though I have no idea what positions he might take. And, hey, in the Taro Yamamoto era, who knows what might happen.)
#183 cm of frustration and empathy#endlessly talking about infinite#(endlessly amused by the possibility of my faves talking shop)

BB.Q Chicken Opens Its Seventh and Biggest Branch at Ayala Malls Feliz
BB.Q Chicken, the ultimate destination for Korean-style fried chicken, has just opened its seventh and largest branch in the country at Ayala Malls Feliz. The Hungry Kat was invited to the exclusive Grand Opening last April 9, 2024 which was attended by owners Luis "Chavit" Singson and his family plus a selection of media guests and personalities that made the event truly special.
You can find BB.Q Chicken's newest outlet at the fifth floor of Ayala Malls Feliz located along Marcos Highway corner Amang Rodriguez Avenue in Pasig City. BB.Q Chicken is a global franchise known for its mouth-watering Korean-style fried chicken, made with 100% extra virgin olive oil. It is also well known for its appearance on hit K-Dramas such as "Goblin" and "Crash Landing On You," so K-Drama fans can feel like they are part of their favorite shows.
Filipino businessman and politician Luis "Chavit" Singson led the ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremonies for the country's biggest branch of BB.Q Chicken. He is the owner and Chairman of the LCS Group which brought the franchise to the Philippines. They opened their first branch in Bonifacio Global City in November 2022 and are expecting to open 10 more branches this year.
BB.Q Chicken has expanded to 57 countries worldwide, operating a total of over 4,000 franchisees. The Ayala Malls Feliz branch comes with elegant and spacious interiors which is something you don't see at other Korean fried chicken outlets. It looks more like a hotel restaurant rather than a place you can visit at the mall.
BB.Q Chicken actually stands for "best of the best quality chicken." BBQ Chicken believes that quality ingredients are the key to making their dishes stand out, using 100% extra virgin olive oil, the highest quality oil among olive oils, as a raw material for frying their chicken. This oil is often referred to as a "gift from God," giving the dishes their signature delicious and healthy taste.
We attended the grand opening with a couple of our friends to experience the best of the best quality Korean fried chicken. The girls are really growing up so fast.
BB.Q Chicken offers a wide range of dishes and beverages on the menu. They have juices, fruit shakes, sodas, beers, wines, and smoothies like the Ice Cream Float with Yakult (P169) with its big mug of Yakult shake topped with a scoop of ice cream. Everyone loved this and I actually ordered a second glass for myself.
They also have signature BB.Q cocktails like the Seouljito (P250) which has a combination of peach soju, lime juice, mint leaves, ginger ale, and ronin peach. You can also try the K-Iced Tea (P250) which has soju, Monin lychee, Monic kiwi, green tea, and lemon juice.
BB.Q Chicken offers more than just fried chicken with its savory appetizers, sides, signature sauces, and diverse flavors to satisfy any craving. We started with the Fried Sampler (P565) which comes with a trio of layered onion rings, French fries and cheese sticks.
The Chicken Caesar Salad (P325) is a healthier alternative with its generous salad and crunchy vegetables topped with moist golden fried chicken strips and crispy bread.
For a real taste of Korea, go order the Mixed Gimbap (P990) as it comes with combination of different flavors of gimbap including bulgogi, spam, spicy fishcake and tuna mayo. This can be shared by the entire table with plenty to spare.
There's also the Kimchi Fried Rice with Egg (P345). This premium kimchi fried rice can go along with any of their fried chicken dishes.
BB.Q Chicken's menu is truly diverse, especially with the Rose Seafood Pasta (P445). This dish is a mix of Eastern and Western flavors with seafood and spaghetti mixed in a delicious blend of spicy sauce and tomato cream sauce.
Then there's the Cheese Dakgalbi (P755), a Korean-style braised boneless chicken cooked with vegetables including potatoes, carrots, leeks, and onions topped with lots of cheese.
Now let's get to the main event, the Korean fried chicken! BB.Q Chicken offers several flavors and variants for their chicken like the Sweet Soy Chicken (P580-half / P1050-whole) where sweet and savory soy sauce meets its crispy chicken. This was probably my favorite flavor that afternoon.
The other variants come with a little more spice like the Gangnam-Style Chicken (P595-half / P1070-whole). This crisp and golden olive chicken is stir-fried in high heat with chopped leeks and garlic. It's spicy, sweet, and sour all at the same time.
Those who really want it spicy should go for the Red Spicy Chicken (P580-half / P1050-whole) with its spicy chili seasoning, Vietnamese chili powder, and exotic spices.
One of the most popular dishes at BB.Q Chicken is the UFO Chicken (P1575). This big platter comes with a combination of two of their best selling chicken flavors, the Secret Chicken and Cheesling Chicken. The Secret Chicken is a golden fried chicken covered in bb.q secret sweet sauce made with about 20 ingredients including Korean chili paste, onion and garlic. This is the signature Korean fried chicken taste that is known all over the world.
On the other hand, the Cheesling Chicken has fried chicken bathed and toasted with a generous amount of cheese powder. You can also order these two flavors individually.
The UFO Chicken is served with a bed of cheese fondue heated on a portable stove so that makes it doubly cheesy. The cloudy mist that envelopes the platter gives it a majestic entrance that befits this grand dish.
We would like to thank the LCS Group and BB.Q Chicken for inviting us to join the grand opening of their newest branch. I'm planning a trip to South Korea soon so this is a great introduction to the food and culture of Korea.

Korean language Wedding Custom
The wedding wedding in Korea is quite short as compared to many other civilizations. Most Korean language weddings are only under a 50 % hour, and the ceremony is generally presided more than by a great officiant and an MC. This is because the couple prioritizes the guests’ enjoyment time. Pertaining to https://mashable.com/article/dating-app-messages-tips-examples model, they will typically skip the flower young women and hoop bearer, and a meal will be served right after the wedding. This means that right now there isn’t enough time for remarkable speeches, a song effectiveness, or a big entrance.
The first thing to know about korean wedding party custom is that the wedding couple will not enter the ceremony together. Instead, both equally value packs of parents can walk in separately. The mom of the bride-to-be will carry a purple candle plus the mother with the groom is going to carry a blue candlestick. These colors represent the balance of yin and yang in nature. They also represent each families’ oneness.
Throughout this processional, the officiant might explain precisely what is going on. Then, the mother of this bride plus the mother for the groom definitely will walk up into a platform in which they will lumination the candles. Then a father belonging to the bride as well as the father with the groom will need their spots on either side within the few.
After the mothers have taken their spots, the star of the event south korean girls will be escorted over the aisle by simply her dad or a close male general. The groom’s family group will then follow the bride to the altar, wherever they will recite their marriage vows. After the groom’s father and mother have recited their promises, they will bow to the bride’s mother, and next the few will ribbon and bow to each other within a ceremony referred to as kunbere. The few will then sip jung jong (Korean wine) from gourds which are grown by bride’s mom, and this closes their marriage vow.
In the past, matchmakers would prepare brides and grooms based upon their education level, interpersonal position, and family tree. If the new bride and groom’s families permitted of this plan, they would in that case send a marriage proposal for the other party’s family, exactly who could accept or reject it. In the event the bride and groom had been approved, they would frequently then exchange gifts throughout a ceremony at the bride’s residence known as pye-baek. This included chestnuts and dates, which will represented children, as well as a distinctive wine the fact that bride’s mom poured into a gourd. The bride and groom would definitely then drink the wine and bow for their parents, as a means of exhibiting respect for each other and their father and mother.
Days and nights before the wedding, the soon-to-be husband the only person or along with his friends brings gifts to the bride’s parents. These gifts are placed within a box known as hahm, plus the parents are not able to start the hahm until they will treat the gift giver. These gifts can be very expensive, including money and jewelry. In past times, this was a method to demonstrate the value of the parent-child relationship and have absolutely the bride’s relatives that their particular son or daughter is certainly marrying well. Today, this ceremony is sometimes incorporated into the Paebaek or perhaps takes place during the reception following the couple’s guests have completed their puddings.
