Ravio and Legend are a package. I'm thinking QPR this time.

Playing with the idea of Hyrule being Legend and Fable's long lost baby brother (who has been assumed dead since he was 'kidnapped')

Aryll is weary of pretty much everyone, but she takes to Wild and Flora quickly in part because of her brother

Sky and Sun are adorable and that's sickening /lh

The Chain's house is a downtown house with a garden that Hyrule and Twilight tend

Flora has a nice apartment, two story and she lets Wild run his Super Legal pop up out of it, but she always eats free

Artemis and Warriors are really close and they are both putting money into accounts for Aryll and Wind if the kids want college/ or something happens to Wars

Four is SO done with Wild but also intrigued because HOW do you break so many knives?!?!

Twilight is a wolf shifter... maybe Wild is a shifter too? I dunno

Coming over here to bother you about my EAH AU thoughts because I want to write but this stupid fatigue wall let me write my daily prompt and nothing else today. Spent a good chunk of time staring at the document file.

I'm thinking about the Zeldas. Obviously most of them will fit in as the miscellaneous princesses for their respective Links, but not all of the stories even have princesses in them.

Artemis/Athena: Obviously I could just have her be Athena, but I feel like she could also do a Mulan story. She could match with Warriors, they could be Greek mythology buddies.

Flora: I think the thing that really sets her apart is her role in TotK, but there aren't any old fairytales about princesses that turn into dragons, so the best I've got is this book by E. D. Baker that I read when I was a kid. It's probably close enough? I'm already going to have to fudge things for Wild anyway.

Sun: Her whole thing is being the reincarnation of Hylia, so I feel like she should be either a full-on mythological goddess or the avatar of one. I feel like there aren't really any good real-world mythology equivalents because LoZ lore has such a distinct vibe to it. Since Sky's story is going to be about fighting the Jabberwocky, she's probably also from Wonderland, I just need to figure out her role.

Fable: I feel like she'd fit into one of the Charming families alright. Alternatively she could be one of the princesses from Oz, most likely Gayelette if she's related to Legend because they both would inherit magical abilities and Gayelette was both a princess and a sorceress. No clue how that's going to work with Camelot. Maybe Legend could have dual citizenship or something. Although I could be mean and say she's a human princess who fades into obscurity because he outlives her.

Dusk: I can't find any good old fairy tales about princesses that involve puppets or wolves. I'm probably going to have to fudge the entire thing. Which shouldn't be horribly difficult since TP is literally just a fairytale anyway, but I was really hoping to find something.

Tetra: Definitely a pirate. Probably Blackbeard or Bluebeard. Maybe one of those lady pirates that were 100% lesbians. (Side note: The Great Sea could totally be the ocean that Atlantis is under. Wind's divine parent could be one of the gods that sunk it or something.)

Dawn & Aurora: I feel like being miscellaneous princesses actually works in their favors because that's pretty much what they are in canon. I can probably just gloss over the details a little bit and say they're cousins and that Hyrule helped rescue them while he was out killing giants.

Dot: I'm just going to say she's the princess from the story about the four brothers since it fits perfectly. Least amount of work to give her a role. Honestly sort of wish she could be Dorothy from The stories about Oz because of her nickname, but that wouldn't work. She deserves a QPR with Four so that's what she's getting.

Lullaby: I don't think she really does much in OoT other than be Sheik? So my best idea is Mulan, but with the whole ocarina thing she could also be a type of magical princess like Fable, but those are in surprisingly limited supply.

Honorary mention of ST!Zelda: She should be a ghost. A victim of train assassination, maybe Orient Express style. Ends up befriending ST!Link and they get along like a house on fire and she helps him get used to being a ghost after he dies in a tragic train accident.

Information Masterpost for Constellation of Hope (LU)

Since CoH is kind of a big mess of a universe (a lot of it currently being stuck in my head and refusing to be written), I decided to write a masterpost for it for those especially interested. I'll try to keep it updated as I continue to write for this series.

Character information

Time: he/him pronouns, doesn't understand gender but presents typically masculine. He's in love with Malon and she's in love with him and that's all that really matters to him

Warriors:: he/him, cismale (for now...?), aro, technically pansexual but he's got ... issues with women at the moment that he has to work through

Twilight: he/him, cismale (for now...?), panromantic, pansexual. Not currently dating (subject to change). Is overwhelmingly supportive of the rest of the chain and will always listen to their thoughts and struggles

Sky: he/him, transman, in love with Sun but can't be bothered to label it. Sunsexual? Literally switched gender, pronouns, name etc with Sun. Has some thoughts about possibly being bigender, but every once in a blue moon or so. Struggles with chronic altitude illness which presents itself as fatigue, nausea and general GI issues. Also cannot drink cow's milk.

Legend: they/he, lived his life until TFH as a transman. The cheerleader outfit made them reconsider everything and they wrote a very panicked letter to Ravio (transman, he/him) about it. Is now out as genderqueer. Has rheumatoid arthritis and sensory processing disorder.

Wild: they/he/she, genderfluid, in a qpr with Flora. They barely understand gender on the best of the days. Was allegedly a transman before the Calamity and has the top surgery scars to prove it, but doesn't really care now. Autistic and learning to unmask (a result of her pre-Calamity life). The scars bother them from time to time.

Hyrule: fae/faer, agender, aroace. Every now and then fae will borrow someone's gender presentation. In some of the stories, fae will still be referred to with he/him pronouns as fae has yet to figure faerself out. Autistic.

Four: plural they/them, when split apart Red and Green (cismen) uses he/him pronouns, Blue (transfem) uses she/her and Vio (agender) uses they/them. Shadow (nonbinary) is dating Vio and uses xe/xem pronouns. Four is also not intended to be a DIDOSDD+ system, despite potential similarities in presentation or language. Wind: he/him, then she/her, transfem. Wind is in a relationship with Tetra, but exactly what it is, she hasn't figured it out yet. Originally hesitates to transition because she doesn't want to upset Warriors (they talk it out). Cannot drink cow's milk.

A Brief Respite - It's a new moon on the first night in Legend's Hyrule, which means that Shadow will be around to hang out with them. It's just a pity that things don't always work out according to plan.

5. How long have you been using your current labels?

Genderfluid I've been using for 3 years I think? It was the first real label I used other than just generic 'queer' and 'gender questioning.' Nonbinary has been more recent, maybe just the last year. It was actually kind of hard to commit to that label, even though it most accurately represents who I am. (To clarify, I am genderfluid within the nonbinary spectrum, sometimes femme, sometimes leaning towards xenogender, and occasionally more masc.)

12. Favorite flag(s) visually?

I like the Lesbian flag's colors. Reminds me of a sunset.

27. Some LGBT+ pairings you ship?

Merlin and Arthur in the Merlin tv show is my OTP, Heather and Astrid in HttyD is a big one (I actually don't like Hiccstrid), Legend and Ravio (I like all the Legend ships), Urbosa and Zelda's mom would make a cute couple, polyam Groose, Sky, and Sun (although I like regular SS Zelink best), QPR Wild and Flora, hmm there are probably others but those are the ones I can think of offhand. A fun question! I don't often get to talk about ships.

My opinion of Zelink entirely depends on which Link and which Zelda it is. Sky and Sun? Yes absolutely. Legend and Fable? Eh, not really, I prefer to think of them as twins. Wild and Flora? QPR or romantic, either counts. Four and Dot? Ehhh, maybe. Wind and Tetra? Yes, and it's adorable. Warriors and his Zelda? No, I don't think so, it's just the vibe. Time and his Zelda? Well, obviously not. Hyrule and Aurora or Dawn? Sure, one of them. I don't remember which one, but yeah, okay. Twilight and his Zelda? Eh, probably not. He doesn't really go for the polished high society sort of people. Midna is not polished, she doesn't count.

Overall, I feel that most Links and Zelda's aren't necessarily in romantic relationships, but they are generally very important people to each other no matter if it's romantic or not

Hihi, I saw your post. What are your romantical-type headcanons for the lu boys? Specifically Legend and Four, pretty please! 🙏 🥺❤️

Okay Legend and Ravio are 100% legally married for tax benefits and to make Ravio a legal citizen of Hyrule. Then they caught feelings and Legend was too emotionally constipated and Ravio was too anxious to admit anything so it took them both an embarrassingly long time to figure it all out. It happened eventually though.

I’m not as sure about Four, but what I’ve seen in things like the comics, Vio and Shadow have a fun thing going on and that kinda tracks. Either that or he’s in a QPR with Dot.

Quick ones for the others:

Time and Malon are cute but Times first crush was Lullaby and his bisexual awakening was Sheik specifically because I think it’s kinda funny. He got over his feelings for her though and they are currently just childhood friends that just show up at each other’s places randomly. Time does it specifically because he thinks it’s funny that he can still sneak past the guards after so long.

Wind and Tetra eventually become a thing, neither of them ever really cared about romantic relationships and it was a years long slow burn to get them to realize that hey, maybe dating would be kinda fun.

Wild was once engaged to Mipha but I like him on the aroace spectrum so he did it partially because they were very good friends and they had a lot of mutual respect for each other but then everything went to shit. Eventually Wild and Flora sign a pact that’s like ‘if I don’t find someone I’m just going to marry you’ and it ends up happening and neither of them are upset about it.

Sky and Sun are together and it’s good and wholesome but Sky totally had a crush on Pipit for years in knight school.

I think Hyrule canonically becomes a king and marries one of his Zelda’s but I think it would be funny if he accidentally marries both of the Zelda’s due to like a document error and they all just kinda go with it.

Warriors is a gay incel. Jk, he is happily single and unavailable though.

It’s been like four years and Twilight is still getting over Midna, so he’s emotionally unavailable, for now…

Oh are we posting LGBTQIA+ head canons for the Chain? 👀 well, keeping in mind that this is more the games/AO3 version of LU than the comics one:

Time: demisexual non-binary man. Has experienced sexual/romantic attraction to one (1) person ever and panicked when it happened. Malon was/is very patient. Still has no idea what gender is, but doesn't mind being called a man. Or a cryptid. Both are correct.

Twilight: bisexual, intersex (CAH) trans man. A super unhealthy baby who grew into a super buff adult. Dating Shad, but it's the kind of relationship where they both live their own lives, do their own thing and are free to date others too if they want.

Wild: aro ace gender hoarder. Has all the gender but none of the dysphoria. Wears whatever the hell he wants and takes whatever pronouns he's given. He and Flora are besties who live together and do cute friend dates.

Legend: bisexual trans man. Just the biggest bisexual disaster ever. So incredibly enamoured with Ravio, and so utterly convinced Ravio would never ever feel the same way. They're married for some reason. Ravio is extremely gay, and everyone except Legend knows this. Loves Hyrule to hell and back in a purely platonic sense.

Hyrule: aro ace trans masc nbi. Medically speaking, knows how sex works but not why anyone would bother. Assumes romantic attraction is a conscious choice based on friendship and/or political advantage. Legend will eventually give him The Talk. Wears masc clothes in human form and an adorable pink dress in fairy form. He and Legend have a really strong platonic relationship, probably equivalent to a QPR but with a mentor/protege dynamic.

Four: all genders, all the orientations. Vio is a straight trans woman, Blue is an aro ace cis man, Green is masc non-binary and grey-ro bisexual, Red is agender and biro ace. None of them know how to sit in a chair properly.

What are you LGBTQ headcanons for the Lu gang?

Time: aspec, sex-favourable panromantic. i h/c that he doesn't give labels much thought! he's comfy as-is, and feels completely content with how he and Malon communicate about it, so it doesn't bother him. he's just Time, and she's his Malon <3 (although he had a whopping massive crush on Sheik for the entirety of his first adventure and still gets teased for it. he takes it in stride. "What do you want me to say? You were hot and mysterious, of course I had a thing for you.")

Wars: bisexual/aromantic! he'll enjoy a bed partner but won't seek anything more romantic in it. i also took on a h/c from @sister-dear for Wars' gender presentation - he's intersex (karyotpe mosaicism) and goes by 'he'! love this headcanon and was delighted to adopt it from you sis hfjhjghg.

Twi: oh my god he is the biggest bisexual. has always been comfy with it and did a double take the first time he met Shad. insists he probably would've asked him out for drinks had he not been preventing imminent peril. might give it another go at some point. i also h/c that he hasn't given his gender identity much thought at all. is comfy with 'he', but i have explored this a tiny bit further with him before.

Sky: cis male, sex-neutral ace/bi-romantic! i also have been slowly inching more and more toward sky being polyamorous thanks to various trios i've seen with him, which is delightful. he has so much love to give you guys <3

Wild: demiromantic ace (i h/c him in a QPR with flora, who is aro/ace in turn) and genderqueer. mostly goes by 'he' because he's comfy with it, but loves it when he gets to go by neutral or feminine pronouns too. won't go out of his way to request specific pronouns one way or the other though - everything works, in his opinion!

Hyrule: aro/ace ftm trans. been big on this one for aaages. <3 i do h/c that he is generally a pretty affectionate person by nature, so i also think he'd not be opposed to being in a QPR, like wild. :) (hasn't thought about it tho, since he hasn't really stayed in one place long enough to wonder).

Legend: gnc cis male! and pan (open to a polyam). it takes a lot to get him to open up but he shows affection in meaningful ways when he does.

Four: genderfaun! so very gay. goes by 'he' and 'they', and i do h/c that his preference for either one is influenced by the colours.

personally i like to hc both flora and wild as aspec (pure projection tbh) but we always need more QPR rep. either that or ambigious sounds good

I usually intend for Wild and Flora to be in a QPR in my writing, and that’s what I was going for on this fic, but I saw an excellent opportunity to make it romantic, so I wasn’t sure if I should take it.

But the people have spoken! Someone else in the comment also said they wanted them to be on a QPR, so that’s what I’ll do! :)
