Why I don’t ship John x Sera

-okay so first they have a WONDERFUL friendship. Why mess with a good thing

-they haven’t shown any romantic interest in each other. Like NO episodes have ANY scenes or conversation hinting at a possible relationship

-I realllllyyyy want John to get a girlfriend. Like a nice, low-tier who admires John’s bravery. Someone for John to talk with, an equal. Someone that will unknowingly help John with his inner fight for control. (Bonus: jealous Sera)

-Sera and John’s relationship doesn’t really seem balanced to me. I feel that because Sera is such a powerful student, that influences how they treat each other. I don’t think that could ever truly go away (even with Sera’s recent ‘situation’). I also mentioned in the point above that a gf for John wouldn’t have this gaping divide.

-HEAR ME OUT. I honestly feel that Sera can be a bit oblivious when it comes to John, and anyone else but herself (AND IM NOT JUST TALKING ABOUT THE OBVIOUS REASON) Whenever we get a look into Sera’s perspective, it’s always, somehow, got to do with herself. Even while thinking about John, it’s about how she could be like him, how she can learn to be like him. She’s not a bad person, just is naturally self aware. I think this has something to do with her harsh upbringing. Even though it’s not her fault, I believe she will always be like this. In a romantic relationship, that would SUCK. (Also why I don’t ship anyone with Sera)
