actually i should go back to the idea of calling it mark of the assassin 2. I should. Because that just means i get to clown around. You KNOW hawk shows up wearing her best, slipping right back into that nobility mindset like she never left it, its almost scary to rook who Fucking Blows at this but is charming enough to make it work anyway. Hawk thinks shes soooo ready and soooo in her element and for a time she IS but it takes a social blunder for her to realize this is not in fact the south and from then on the both of them have to improvise to success. Discreetly punching someone always works.

#ghosts howling #The stealth mission would be a DRAMA theres this woman in her late 40s who is still rusty when it comes to any action #So shes constantly complaining about her creaky joints sneaking around while the rookie (heh) can get around perfectly but #Has zero fucking clue where to actually go. So they have to whisper shout to each other and they fuck things up and have to knock out #An increasing amount of people that spot them and it just becomes this whole mess. So they finally reach the treasury in a hurry #And its a fucking puzzle. Because of course it is. And rooks ruins brain activates and goes oh let me take a look!!!!!!#And rook cheats at puzzles. So theyre inspecting the make looking at connections and shit and like #Half an hour passes hawk has seemingly been staring into space this whole time and rooks like alright! I give up!#What do we do now?! And hawk just wordlessly solves. The puzzle. And rooks like WHAT. And hawks like #Oh yeah while you were looking for how to cheat i was solving the puzzle in my head. Pretty clever solution really #And so they grab as many chests as they can and stuff them full of shit #And at that point the guards are already running through the castle so they HAUL ASS out of there but get intercepted #So they get knocked about. Knock out guards AGAIN. Face the noble who is pissed and activates the defenses #Indiana jones style escape and after running for a while they finally catch their breath and are in the clear #And hawks laughing like oh man i havent done this in AGES! And rook is like that was GREAT shame we were spotted though #Cause now were probably going to be kicked out of the lords!! Hahaha!!! And hawks like huh. <- still not fully aware of the rules #What a riot. Theyre great.
