Imagine thinking you're being haunted by a ghost (friendly or otherwise) and it's just a really cowardly yandere too timid to approach you directly
#things moving around or missing and showing up again#lights flickering on and off#the phantom smell of cologne/perfume or soap that does not belong to you#footsteps in the middle of the night but never show any sign of life attached#But yeah since you're a modern type of person you think nothing of it. You've seen ghost shows before.#You start talking to the 'otherworldly presence'. Not because you really think there's a ghost but because it eases your anxiety#and you want to be polite just in case there *is* a ghost.#Somewhere there's some poor schmuck yandere who's too nervous to actually follow through.#Some loser just hiding behind the other side of the wall.#Thinking “oh wow this is actually not so bad. They're talking to me.”#If things get a little weirder from there. Like little presents on your bed. Or your shitty boss disappearing...#Well. Maybe ghosts are real. And you're really glad you chose to be polite.
