Steven Universe Future Timeline (Including the Movie) [Short version]

We recently made a timeline for the events of Steven Universe Future, including the movie. It was very entertaining to find the exact dates, but we have to admit, it was a very long post that I had to remove a bit of the formatting to comply with the character limit, also, it takes a long time to read. So I made a condensed, shorter and better formatted version of the post.

My inspiration for creating this timeline was the original series timeline made by NubOnReddit on Reddit, which you can find by clicking here.

I considered some details for the construction of the timeline. Some from the series and others based on the timeline on Reddit:

Steven's birthday is August 15th. (Canon)

Steven was born in 2001, turns 16 in 2017 and 17 in 2018. (Headcanon)

With the exception of "The Future", Steven is 16 years old in the entire season of Future, according to his medical record in "Growing Pains". (Canon)

"Snow Day" occurs in December (Headcanon) and from Monday to Wednesday. (Canon)

"Snow Day" occurs one week before the third quarter (Canon), for Steven and by extension for Little Homeschool, third quarter means the third month of the four-month school period. (Headcanon)

"Little Homeschool" and "Guidance" are at most a week apart because Little Homeschool is recent. (Headcanon)

"Little Homeschool" and "Little Graduation" are at least two months apart because during that time Sadie and Shep start dating. (Canon)

"Rose Buds" and "Snow Day" are at least a month apart because Steven becomes a vegetarian. (Canon)

"Prickly Pair" occurs in June because among Steven's plants is a blue campanula, which blooms in June. (Headcanon)

"Bismuth Casual" takes place in mid-June because it is after exams at the cram school. (Headcanon)

"Together Forever" takes place during the beginning of the school vacations because Connie might be getting ready for college in the morning and it seems like her 15-minute break is recent. (Headcanon)

School vacations in human schools don't interfere with classes at Little Homeschool. Classes are from Monday to Friday throughout the year and Saturdays and Sundays are days off. (Headcanon)

"Growing Pains" takes place the day after "Together Forever" because Connie told Steven that she would call him at lunchtime in the previous episode. (Canon)

"Mr. Universe" takes place two days after "Growing Pains" because Steven said that he went to the hospital two days ago. (Canon)

In "Mr. Universe" Greg says his parents go to Florida Island every winter. To keep things consistent, Greg's parents also started traveling in the summer and he didn't know it. (Headcanon)

"Fragments" takes place one day after "Mr. Universe" (Headcanon) and has a range of five days. (Canon)

"Homeworld Bound” takes place on the night of the fifth day of "Fragments" (A.K.A. the day Steven shattered and revived Jasper) and in the early morning of the next day, on which "Everything's Fine" takes place. (Canon)

"Everything's Fine" and "I Am My Monster" occur on the same day. (Canon)

"The Future" takes place months after "I Am My Monster" (Canon) between October and early December. (Canon)

In the movie, the events supposedly began on May 21 (a Monday in 2018) according to Sadie Killer and the Suspects concert poster. However, it would be impossible for Steven to be 16 in "Growing Pains" if he had already gone through a winter. So I interpreted it as a moment of a little mistake (Like when Garnet asked a question in "Cheeseburger Backpack" or when Connie was affected by Blue Diamond's power in "Reunion") and adjusted the start date to Monday, August 21, 2017, with Steven turning 16 a few days ago.

As I progressed through the timeline, I included a few more details based on which month the events of each episode were most likely:

Since "Snow Day" occurs on Monday December 25 (2017), January 1, 2018 would be the start of the third quarter. So, Little Homeschool started on November 1, 2017.

The graduation of the Off Colors would be on February 28, 2018.

From "Little Homechool" to "A Very Special Episode", each episode would occur on a different day of the week.

"Little Homeschool" occurs on Monday, November 6 because the school would be in its first days and because… it's Monday.

In 2018, June 14 was Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadan), so "Bismuth Casual" occurs after the mentioned date so Patricia can be present without skipping Tarawih (Correct me if I'm wrong).

Due to a chain of days that links the episodes from "Together Forever" to "I Am My Monster", "Together Forever" can only occur on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, and "Everything is Fine" occurs on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday respectively.

"The Future" occurs over two days, as Connie is present on the morning of the first day and it doesn't appear to be a school day at Little Homeschool, the first day occurs on a Saturday or Sunday and the second day occurs on a Sunday or Monday respectively.

For some dates I implemented the following matches (I'm Peruvian, so I looked for dates in the United States because the series is set there. Correct me if I'm wrong on some):

"Guidance" occurs on November 11 because it's Veterans Day, the healed gems are basically military veterans.

"Why So Blue?" occurs on January 17 because it's International Mentoring Day. As Steven and Lapis try to teach two other Lapises to stop destroying worlds, the concept fits.

"Growing Pains" occurs on June 27 because it's National PTSD Awareness Day. In this episode we see that Steven has PTSD, and Dr. Maheswaran gave a good explanation of the topic.

The second day of "The Future" (A.K.A. when Steven begins his journey) occurs on Monday, November 5 because it would be exactly one year after "Little Homeschool" (November 6, but still a Monday). It would be symbolic because a year ago was the beginning of Steven's problems that unleashed his pink outburst, and now he's healing from his traumas and began a journey to discover himself.

After several calculations of days of the week and doing discard methods, the timeline looks like this:

OSRS Stocks: Brine Sabre

The brine sabre is a weapon in Old-school Runescape that allows you to kill a certain slayer creature without the use of its usual slayer tool - in this case, instead of using a bag of salt to kill a rockslug, you can use the brine sabre to kill rockslugs outright and save time and money. The name, description and location of this item indicates that it's been left sitting in salty water for a long time - but instead of rusting, it's been imbibed with the properties of salt, and so you can kill slugs with it.

I'm gearing up to do a brine sabre grind. It has a 1/512 chance of dropping from an enemy called a Brine Rat, which sounds like a lot until you realise that this weapon only drops from brine rats, there's only one area in the entire game world where brine rats spawn and they're definitely not the strongest mob in the game (level 70). Because of its rarity, utility and awesome look, this weapon currently sits at a value of approx. 289,000 gold pieces on the Grand Exchange.

But what's the history of this item's value throughout its lifespan? This post is all about that, at least according to oldschool.runescape.wiki.

So, the brine sabre is currently coming down from a record peak of its value. Here's the chart for the past month vs the past six months:

So you can see that the brine sabre was at its peak in early-ish September, trading at a value of 310k~. Some time in July, it took a sharp dip to a value slightly north of 170k. The market has been a bit unstable; maybe there was a rash of availability, like someone grinding for brine sabre drops and mass-selling on the GE.

What I find interesting, though, is the lifetime sales of the brine sabre.

The lowest price that the brine sabre ever traded at was 50,000 gold pieces on Wednesday, 31 January 2018.

The highest it ever traded at - leading directly in from its low point - was 700,000 gold pieces on Wednesday, 21st November 2018.

The next highest peak of value was 314k~ on Saturday 9 September 2017:

And the spike in brine sabre's value this past September is the third highest price this item has ever been at, at approx. 310k~.

So why is this the case?

You might think that the brine sabre itself changed - and you'd be right. In July of 2016, the brine sabre gained its ability to kill rockslugs without the use of an extraneous salt item:

But that was in July of 2016. The value of the item reached an all-time high in September 2017, over a year after the change occured, and the price subsequently bottomed out in early 2018. It only reached its all-time peak value of 700k~ at the end of November 2018, almost an entire year after it had cratered to a value of 50,000 gold pieces.

I don't know why any of this happened. Maybe some players grinded brine sabres to the point of deflation, causing ownership to increase so dramatically that the value of the item plummeted. But maybe after the item had lost its value and the glut of brine sabres had dwindled, other players began searching for the sabre on the GE and created new demand, causing the price to surge.

But I'm doubtful of that because the price took eleven months between January and November to go from rock-bottom to all time peak.

A factor that may have played into this is an emote clue for the master clue scroll, requiring you to go deep into the wilderness with the sabre and a bunch of other expensive gear to fight a double agent in the lava dragon pen. That's way fuckin up in the wilderness, close to the very top of it, making you extremely susceptible to pkers as well as risking a violent, dragonfire-fueled death in the search of treasure.

I don't know when the clue was added, but the master clue scroll was added to the game on the 6th of July 2016. At any point past that date, the emote clue requiring the brine sabre could have been added to the game, causing players to look for one on the Grand Exchange.

And why has it peaked again now, six years after it initially broke 300k in 2017? I have no idea, but the value seems to be dropping right now.

What gets me is that the rockslug is a very low-effort and low-value slayer monster. The average value of a rockslug drop is like 112 coins, and the rockslug itself is level 29. To get a brine sabre, you either need to shell out a six-figure sum for it on the Grand Exchange or grind a particular mob that's level 70, over twice as strong as any given rockslug.

I think it's a combination of rarity, its necessity for the master clue scroll and because it looks fucking awesome.

i’m the anon that sent that shifting n stuff ask! so your college experience counts as shifting (like 100%) and i’d love to hear it!!personally on the fence about the legit science side of it, since small things like the berstein bears and little timeline tweaks I think could be real, and ppl having strong emotional reactions are obviously smthg unless theyre lying (but they dont have a reason to really, and theyre living w the stress of what feels like gaslighting to them). but the tiktok -🌟

see this issue i have of calling what i experienced as "shifting" is i was very much awake and living my life when it happened. hell, even someone else i knew said things felt different (i'll explain in the story) so to me, this wasn't like a very vivid daydream or dream even. but i also can't completely explain what happened logically.

okay, here's what i experienced many moons ago, where i think we switched onto a different timeline.

this is super long and weirdly timely so... strap in lol

how i always described this situation to those that wanted to know about it: imagine taking any room in your house. you have all the time in the world to memorize everything about it. the furniture, the lights, everything. imagine i tell you to leave that room for a couple minutes, and then come back. you do that, and when you come back i tell you that something about this room is now missing. it's up to you to figure out what is no longer there. now, it could be as noticeable as a couch or a chair, right? or... it could a quarter that was under the rug that you didn't know about. that's how annoying this whole thing felt. you know something's different. but you don't know what it is.

this was november of 2017. i was in college. to give a brief run down of my sleeping schedule at the time, i would leave for school (bc i commuted) around 8 am, get there at 9, and then stay at school until 5 pm. then i would get home around 6/7, depending on traffic, and pass out almost immediately. then i'd wake up anywhere around 1-3 am, do homework and whatnot and then literally stay up the entire time until the next day at 6/7 pm again. if i was lucky, i could nap at school (bc my dad worked at my university and i could sleep in his office) or if i didn't have homework i could sleep until the next day when i would have to get ready for school.

so it's safe to say my sleeping schedule was ass lol

i just came home, it was a monday. i think i stayed up a bit later, worked on an art project for school, and then went to sleep around 8/9 pm. i remember falling asleep, i remember deciding i was going to sleep.

i woke up around 3 in the morning. that wasn't odd, i usually always wake up throughout the night. however when i woke up, i was confused as all hell. i didn't have a weird dream, if anything i didn't really dream at all, and when i woke up i just felt really confused, like my room looked different to me or something.

i remember saying out loud, "something feels off", and then i went back to sleep. i slept until the morning when i had to get up, bc i had no other homework that night.

on tuesdays (from what i can remember now since this was so long ago at this point), i would have a 9 am bio class, then i would have a couples hours off, and the around 1 or so, i would go to my art class. i remember distinctively carrying a big ass portfolio to school, or into my dad's office on these days. thursdays, i had a similar schedule. the only difference being i didn't have art, i had a bio lab instead that was a bit later than the art class. this is all important to the story.

i go to school on tuesday, take my portfolio to my dad's office, leave it there, and then go to my biology class. class is normal, nothing out of the ordinary. now, to give you an exact date or time frame of when this all took place, we had a WEEK before thanksgiving break. and i knew my professor wanted our last class together to be a quiz or a test. and our break started on wednesday the following week.

and i remember half way thru class sitting there, wondering why she was teaching us all of this new material when we should have been taking a test. class ended, she said "see you on thursday" and i remember almost raising my hand to say "thursday is thanksgiving". it took me a solid 30 seconds to realize OH, i'm thinking of the wrong dates. it's not the week of thanksgiving, it's the week before.

i started walking back to my dad's office and i thought to myself "what else do i have to do today? nothing, right? i don't have any other classes." (to addon, on mon/wed/fri i only had one class). i get back to my dad's office, see my portfolio and go OMG dumbass, you have art. it was literally the only homework you worked on last night. you always have two classes on tues/thurs.

i was very confused, but shrugged it off. however, i want it to be noted that while i can be forgetful sometimes, when i was in school, i really wasn't. i was on top of my school work and never once need an extension bc i made sure to know when things were due. so to be a week off time wise was really confusing.

fast forward a bit, it's time for my art class. the one thing i LOVED about my campus was that we had flowers all over that were just absolutely gorgeous. i'll even insert the one photo i took of these flowers from a month before this event happened to me (also, ain't creepy that it's also from a tuesday??? also also i had to ss this from snapchat lol):

so as i'm walking to class, i have to pass by these flowers. they looked like this ^^^ literally the day before, and i just generally loved walking by them when i would go on that side of campus.

i stopped dead in my tracks. they were all dead.

they looked burned, like someone had set them ablaze. like, usually when plants like these die there is at least some petals left on the ground. maybe shriveled up and whatnot, but proof that they were once vibrant flowers. i'm telling you, they were all gone and there was no petals anywhere. it was so eerie to me that i felt really creeped out.

i went to class, nothing else really happened. i asked my friend if she felt off that day, and she said no. i went home after my class, repeated the cycle of sleeping and then getting up late.

on wednesdays, i had my one class mid way thru the day, so usually i would spend my mornings going to the library and working on bio lab stuff (which would be due the next day). so i did that, went to my usual spot, started working on my lab. i get a text around 10/11 ish by my friend from my art class (that was also in the same major as me, theater). and she told me the cast list was posted for our final show. this was my senior year and this would have been my last chance to perform. i had only perform twice, and really wanted to get in something else before graduating.

she sent me the cast list, and i didn't make it into anything. i was taken aback bc the director, who was also my adviser, had praised my song choice and thought i sounded excellent and basically kissed the ground i walked on after my audition, which is something that she never did before.

and the thing is, i had not been casted before. so this wasn't new to me. but literally every time, i would cry. it meant a lot to me to be included so when i wasn't i just felt terrible, so i would always cry. i remember digging my nails into my palm and tears welling up in my eyes. i remember looking around at everyone in the library, already feeling embarassed that i was gonna cry publicly. i closed my eyes, and took a really deep breath.

and suddenly, all of the sadness i felt went away immediately. like in a snap, i was suddenly okay. hell, i was more than okay. i was… happy.

not to be too sad sounding, but i'm never happy. well, it's very rare for me to be genuinely, deeply happy. especially back then when i was at one of my lowest and most depressed. but i sincerely was so happy, so relieved. i sped thru my bio lab somehow, left the library early, and when i walked back to my dad's office, i was fucking GIDDY. you ever see in movies when someone's in a good mood they point and wave at strangers?? i was, honest to god, thisclose to doing that bc that's how HAPPY I WAS.

i was deeply confused by all of this tho. bc none of it made sense. how did i forget what week it was so quickly and think i was a week ahead? how did i get over the heartache of missing out on the final chance i had to perform? it was like a week had passed in my mind, and that's why my emotions - anger, sadness, shame, you name it - were all gone within a second.

i genuinely believe that we somehow jumped a week in time. now granted, you could probably chalk a lot of this up to me just being in a weird headspace, forgetting things bc stress, my depression, terrible sleeping habits, ect. i get it. i've gone thru all of those scenarios myself, even to this day.

but the ONE THING that makes me think this actually happened…. is my mom. fast forward to mid decemeber, i remember it was when i was off but my dad wasn't, so me and mom were driving up to my university to pick up my dad from work. i was talking to her about my life and school and whatever. idk what we were talking about exactly, but i said to my mom "i feel like something has shifted. like something changed."

she agreed with me. "yeah, things feel really off anymore." i told her that i've felt this way for a while. and then my mom goes, "have you been feeling this way since the week before thanksgiving? bc that's when i started to feel it."

imma be honest, i don't believe in conspiracy theories. i'm not one to jump the gun on shit like this, but clearly something happened. i'm not sure what, but something changed for me back then. and i think it's bigger than just me and the ppl immediately around me. but that's just how i feel about it.

Nanwum VII Update: 90,997

The goal for tonight is to hit 92k, but I've still got four hours left before midnight, so I think I'm safe. At the moment, it looks like I have 9,003 words left to go for the month, which is... over 9000?

Does it work when it's the amount of words left to go? I mean, when you get down to it, I've had over 9000 words to write this entire month so far. Well, I had the image handy, so whatever.

The four day weekend slowed me down a hair, but I took that into account, and I probably did better than in past years, but it got me wondering if that was actually true. Fortunately, I have the stats from previous years on the Nano website, so I thought I might just check that out.

I'm listing five days for each year, because I consider the Wednesday before Thanksgiving a lousy time to get any writing done, since I have to go to work, drive straight to my mom's house an hour away, then have dinner. Also since 2019, there's been a wrestling show every Wednesday to watch, so it might be 9pm before I can even think about writing.

There's nothing here because I had finished writing on Day 21, and wasn't interested in any kind of overrun. I remember planning it out this way, because I knew I'd have trouble if I fell behind during the holiday weekend.

I reached 50k early, but I also thought I should make it a point to add to my word count every single day of the month. But I wasn't too concerned about how much I added, so I just sort of did whatever I felt like doing.

This might have been the worst run for me, since I was still actively chasing the goal right up to the end. And Thanksgiving was on November 28 that month, so that Sunday was December 1, so I was really down to the wire. Writing 2407 on Thanksgiving day sucked, I remember that much.

This was the one I was thinking about today, because I stayed home for Thanksgiving weekend because of the pandemic, and I expected the silver lining to be that I'd get a lot more writing done that year, since I would have four whole days with nothing else to do. But instead I completely flamed out. I had completed the 50k goal early again, but I went into this one fully intending to rack up a nice overrun, and I just... didn't. I remember being in a funk for several days and just not writing anything, and then I finally got back into the mood for days 29 and 30.

This was the year I resolved to hit par every day, along with other challenges I had set for myself. I reached my goals early, and then I just had to write 1667 or more each day for the rest of the month, which turned out to be the hardest part. It was a struggle, but compared to '18 and '19, it went a lot more smoothly.

This was a similar situation to 2019, where I was still short of the 50k goal, and didn't reach the finish line until Day 29. I'm not sure how I let that happen. I almost want to say it was on purpose, like I was challenging myself in 2019 and 2022 to try to write at a more steady pace, rather than building up an early lead. Well, maybe in '19, but I seem to recall wanting to build an early lead in '22 and just failing to accomplish that.

And then we have this year, which is shaping up to be a near-replica of the 2021 Thanksgiving Weekend. 2023 has been my best run by far, but the pattern I notice is that even when I'm on a roll, I still find it difficult to keep up that pace. Even when I pull it off, it still feels like a struggle. That Day 22 total was me writing from Midnight to 3am on Wednesday, just so I'd have it out of the way. Day 23 took me like five hours, which... It shouldn't take me five hours to write 1700 words. it just shouldn't.

2020 aside, I believe the difficulty just comes down to fatigue and the change of environment. I write in bed when I'm at my mom's place, and I have to use the laptop keyboard instead of the one I normally plug into it, and I feel a little awkward sequestering myself in my room while I'm visiting. I always tell myself I can do it faster because of how quickly I can knock out 1700 words earlier in the month, but it always ends up taking 2-3 times longer, because I'm tired of writing by then.

Basically, my options are to just rely on my traditional strategy of finishing before Day 21, or planning special sprints for the Thanksgiving weekend. If I had hard outlines for those days in particular, I could probably have an easier time getting the words out. As it is, by the end of the month, I'm either already past the finished line, or anxious about reaching the finished line, or I've already written the stuff I wanted to write, and now I'm just kind of of tooling around.

I almost kind of have to treat Thanksgiving week like a separate writing project, one where I have plots laid out in advance, plots that I don't even touch during the first three weeks.

Like, I sort of knew I'd run into this going in. I toyed with the idea of hitting 50k early, and maybe aiming for 100k, but I knew I probably didn't have 100k of material to write. I thought I could work the 2024 Luffa annual into this period at the end of the month, except I never got around to plotting it, and I'm in no mood to work on that now. So instead I'm just sort of writing loose filler to pass the time. Good for wordcount, bad for publication.

The lesson here seems to be that I need to devote more time to writing plot outlines outside of November. Have a bunch of story ideas plotted out in a reasonable amount of detail, and then save them for when I'm ready. I've already proven to myself that it works, but I need to commit to the strategy. In past years I would do other writing months in January, April, July, and September, but what I really need is a plotting month, where I write up some of this stuff in a coherent way ahead of time. Yeah. That's the next step.

I have to keep this in mind, because it's not just about writing a bunch of words every November. I don't just write these little commentaries on my progress for a distraction. In the grand scheme of things, it's all for the sake of improving my process and making me a better, more organized writer. And while I've come very far, I still have room for improvement.

Today, Representative Ryan Zinke (R-MT), who was former president Trump’s Interior Secretary until he left under accusations of misconduct, introduced a bill to ban Palestinians from the United States and to revoke any visas issued to Palestinians since October 1 of this year. Although the U.S. has resettled only about 2,000 Palestinians in the last 20 years, ten other far-right members of the House signed onto Zinke’s bill, which draws no distinction between Hamas and Palestinian civilians.

This blanket attack on a vulnerable population echoes Trump’s travel ban of January 27, 2017, just a week after he took office. Executive Order 13769 stopped travel from primarily Muslim countries—Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen—for ninety days. The list of countries appeared random—Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, countries from which terrorists have sometimes come directly to the U.S., weren’t on the list—and appeared to fulfill a campaign promise and assert a new view of executive power.

Insisting that immigrants endanger the country is a key tactic of authoritarians. Excluding them is a central principle of those eager to tear down democracy: they insist that immigration destroys a nation’s traditions and undermines native-born Americans. With tensions in the nation mounting over the crisis in the Middle East, this measure, introduced now with inflammatory language, seems designed to whip up violence.

Representative Greg Landsman (D-OH) called out his Republican colleagues on social media. “Un-American and definitely NOT in the Bible, [Speaker Johnson],” he wrote. “You going to tell them to pull this bill?”

But, far from trying to work across the aisle, Johnson has been throwing red meat to his base. In the last two days, for example, the House has voted to slash 39% of the budget of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and 13% of the budget of the National Park Service. It voted to require the Biden administration to advance oil drilling off the Alaska coast. It has voted on reducing the salary of the EPA administrator, the director of the Bureau of Land Management, and the Secretary of the Interior to $1 each.

Yesterday, Johnson told reporters he considers extremists Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY) close friends and said “I don’t disagree with them on many issues and principles.”

To direct his communications team, Johnson has tapped Raj Shah, a former executive from the Fox News Corporation, who was a key player in promoting the lie that Trump won the 2020 presidential election. As the head of the “Brand Protection Unit,” Shah demanded that the Fox News Channel continue to lie to viewers who would leave the station if it told the truth. Johnson has hired Shah to be his deputy chief of staff for communications and, according to Alex Isenstadt of Politico, “help run messaging for House Republicans.”

The extremists are doubling down on Trump and his election lies even as his allies are admitting in court that they are, indeed, lies. Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows is in trouble with the publisher of his memoir after admitting that under oath that the election had been fair. The publisher is suing him for millions in damages for basing his book on the idea that the election had been stolen and representing that “all statements contained in the Work are true.”

The publisher says it has pulled the book off the market.

House extremists continue to back Trump even as he is openly calling for an authoritarian second term. In September, former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley had to take “appropriate measures” for his own security after Trump accused him of disloyalty to him, personally, and suggested that in the past, such “treason” would have been punished with death.

On Wednesday, Jonathan Swan, Charlie Savage, and Maggie Haberman of the New York Times reported that Trump was frustrated in his first term by lawyers who refused to go along with his wishes, trying to stay within the law, so Trump's allies are making lists of lawyers they believe would be “more aggressive” on issues of immigration, taking over the Department of Justice, and overturning elections.

They are looking, they say, for “a different type of lawyer” than those supported by the right-wing Federalist Society, one “willing to endure the personal and professional risks of association with Mr. Trump” and “to use theories that more establishment lawyers would reject to advance his cause.”

John Mitnick, who served in Trump’s first term, told the reporters that “no qualified attorneys with integrity will have any desire to serve as political appointees” in a second Trump term. Instead, the lawyers in a second term would be “opportunists who will rubber-stamp whatever Trump and his senior White House staff want to do.”

Trump has also made it clear he and his allies want to gut the nonpartisan civil service and fill tens of thousands of government positions with his own loyalists. Led by Russell Vought, who served as Trump’s director of the Office of Management and Budget, Trump’s allies believe that agencies like the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Securities and Exchange Commission should not be independent but should push the president’s agenda.

This week, Trump vowed to take over higher education too. In a campaign video, he promised to tax private universities with large endowments to fund a new institution called “American Academy.” The school, which would be online only, would award free degrees and funnel students into jobs with the U.S. government and federal contractors.

“We spend more money on higher education than any other country, and yet they’re turning our students into communists and terrorists and sympathizers of many, many different dimensions,” Trump said. “We can’t let this happen.” In his university, “wokeness or jihadism” would not be allowed, he said.

In admirable understatement, Politico’s Meridith McGraw and Michael Stratford noted: “Using the federal government to create an entirely new educational institution aimed at competing with the thousands of existing schools would drastically reshape American higher education.”

Trump has made no secret of his future plans for the United States of America.

Meanwhile, Republicans appear determined to push their agenda over the wishes of voters. In Ohio, where voters on Tuesday will decide whether to amend the state constitution to make it a constitutional right to “make and carry out one’s own reproductive decisions,” Republicans first tried to make it harder to amend the state constitution, and then, when voters rejected that attempt, the Republican-dominated state senate began to use an official government website to spread narratives about the constitutional amendment that legal and medical experts called false or misleading.

Adding reproductive health protections to the state constitution is popular, but In an unusual move, the Republican secretary of state, Frank LaRose, quietly purged more than 26,000 voters from the rolls in late September. LaRose is a staunch opponent of the constitutional amendment and is himself running for a seat in the U.S. Senate.

In Virginia, where Republicans are hoping to take control of the state legislature to pass new abortion restrictions as well as the rest of Republican governor Glenn Youngkin’s agenda, a study by the Democratic Party of Virginia shows that officials are flagging the mail-in ballots of non-white voters for rejection much more frequently than those of white voters. As of today, 4.82% of ballots cast by Black voters have gotten flagged, while only 2.79% of the ballots of white voters have been flagged.

In Richmond, The Guardian’s Sam Levine reported, city officials flagged more than 11% of ballots returned by Black voters but only about 5.5% of ballots cast by white voters. After the ballots are fixed, or cured, the rate of rejection for Black voters remains more than twice as high as that of white voters.

Virginia officials also reported last week that they had accidentally removed more than 3,400 eligible voters from the rolls.

I Know Who Killed me Chapter 1

it was Monday October 30, 2017 a day before Charlie Summers would meet his Demise. the air was crisp the leaves orange, the perfect setting. fourteen year old Charlie has nothing to worry about other than THE night of the year where we only care about being a skeleton or a superhero and even though he was way too old to still be trick or treating it was a tradition he and his four close friends had every single halloween. But this Year would be different.....

Three out of four Best Friends would go home and one would be murdered. on Wednesday November 1, 2017, the town of Anoka will be asking who killed Charlie Summers?

there's an alarm sounding on the dresser next to Charlie's bed he's tired but he knows he needs to wake up now or his mother will be aggravated. groaning he grabs his phone it's second hand iPhone 4 that he got from his cousin for his fourteenth birthday, the screen is cracked but you can still see the wallpaper , it's a picture of Charlie and his three best friends: Liam, Olivia, and Ethan who was grade a head of them.

Mondays were always such shit days but not this week, this Monday meant they were only a day away from Halloween which is the best day of the year, incase you don't know. he jumped out of bed and started to get ready.

Getting ready Charlie grabs his MacBook laptop and starts youtube he's currently watching youtube art hoe look books and you-tubers who vlog their lives living in London or new york, two places he hope to live one day. but he's bored and can't focus so he goes to Spotify to find a fall playlist specifically a halloween play list, hits play than jumps in the shower.

his closet consists of Levi 501s bright wind breakers and vans that range from classic black to his most worn pair, a checkered print with a rose embroidered on the side. he grabs his pumpkin spice lotion he recently bought at bath and body works shopping with his mom and sisters. he knows it's girly but he's never been one for masculinity. grabbing a yellow top and a pair of Levi's he tucks in the shirt grabs a black belt and rolls the cuffs of the jeans to show his nike socks, and finally grabbing a purple and green windbreaker and his checkered vans he's ready for school. his yellow kanken bag is hanging on the chair of his desk ready to pick up on his way out.

downstairs his mom is cooking breakfast but he doesn't eat much as of recently, he gained a couple pounds over the summer and is now self conscious. his mom has a iced coffee ready for him, he sips it and grabs a banana on his way out, but he throws it in the dumpster as he walks down the drive way. the cold of a 7 am morning in the fall hits his face and it's a feeling he will never forget.

"Charlie?" a familiar voice shouts from across the street it's Liam who lives a block over from the Summers, he's wearing a white oversized sweater and baggy 'mom jeans' with dark green converse and of course he's wearing a Kanken bag as well, matter of fact almost everyone at Anoka Middle are.

not surprised a art school is obsessed with The Art Hoe Aesthetic, a term that started in 2015 from a poc creator on Tumblr.

the boys ride the same bus together and a few stops away Olivia and Ethan get on they live next door to each other. and they are the other two of this core four friend group. Ethan is a grade higher than them but they all still hang out together. the bus ride is about a ten minute ride to Anoka Middle outside is a colourful pallet of orange, red, and yellow. everyone here clearly uses tumblr and watches you tubers like OkaySage and Haley Morales; my favourite is Eris the Planet, and Shane Dawson specifically his Conspiracy Videos.

the bell rings and everyone rushes inside to make sure we aren't late for first period.

The EU is bracing itself for a possible trade war with the US if Donald Trump wins the presidential election in November, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing an anonymous official within the bloc.

The European Commission is working on a formal economic assessment of how a Trump victory would impact member states, the source told the business news agency, without offering details of Brussels’ potential response.

In a separate article based on interviews with Trump campaign insiders, Bloomberg reported that his administration would impose a minimum 10% tariff on imports from the EU, the same as for China.

Another proposal involves retaliation for the taxes imposed by Brussels on digital services in the past several years, which have targeted US-based tech giants such as Meta and Amazon. Yes, there are trade concerns that the Europeans have about Donald Trump.

Here is some of what I warned about in my January 2017 book Donald Trump and America’s Apocalypse:

Trade

Donald Trump has stated his firm opposition to the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement (TPP).[i] However, various members of his staff support it. Without something like TPP, many nations who were involved with it are likely to move closer to China, as opposed to away from it as China was not part of TPP.[ii]

Donald Trump’s election has been pointed to as the end of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) trade agreement involving the USA and Europe.[iii]

Donald Trump has called for “fair trade” and indicated that various nations, including several in Asia, are not engaged in fair trade, so he has proposed high tariffs.[iv]

Some believe that Donald Trump’s positions on trade will lead to a global trade war that could trigger some type of international war.[v] It is my position that trade disputes will be a factor in Europe taking military action against the U.S.A. one day.

Donald Trump has already offended the Europeans, with his trade and other policies, though he gets along with some. Despite a certain accuracy in his statements related to NATO, the result will not turn out quite as Donald Trump expects. Some of his statements may be leading to the rise of the prophesied King of the North, who is to be the final leader of the Beast of Revelation (Revelation 13:1)–and some in Europe have looked forward to Donald Trump’s rise for their own agenda as they believe “Trump presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity for emancipation from American influence” (see ‘Why Europe Secretly Roots For Donald Trump’?).

Since the above was posted, the Europeans have been working on getting involved with infrastructure projects in Asia and elsewhere to improve its trade and international influence as well as become less dependent upon trade with the USA.

Yet, the Bible prophesies that Europe will, for a time, dominate the world economically.

Europe has been working on this for decades. And when it was called the European Community (before it became the European Union), the old Worldwide Church of God published the following:

Beyond Europe’s Present Crisis COLOSSUS IN THE MAKING

… the business of the European Community is not just business.

Although the EC’s field of action is largely economic, its founders’ aims were essentially political. From the start, European planners envisioned the Community as the nucleus of a future political “United States of Europe” with a centralized political authority. Economic integration would be only the start. The ultimate product would be an entirely new political entity!

Many, even in those early years, saw the Community evolving into a strong politico-economic power, a European counterweight to Soviet Russia.

And indeed, strides have been made over the years in the political arena. In June 1979, for example, voters in the EC member nations went to the polls to choose, for the first time, directly elected representatives to the enlarged and strengthened European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. This was an enormous milestone in European history.

But the old nemesis of self-centered nationalism still impedes progress. As yet, the EC’s decision-making institutions are invested with few substantial powers. Only minimal surrender of national sovereignty has taken place.

National self-interest still dictates governments’ positions in EC negotiations, notably in the area of agricultural policy. Quarrels over how the EC spends its money have even prompted some observers to suggest the possibility of a Common Market collapse!

The EC faces a series of crucial decisions in the near future. Most Europeans realize there can be no going back. Many remain hopeful that the remaining years of this century will yet witness a coherent, full-functioning United States of Europe.

And they are right!

Foretold Long Ago

Bible prophecy — as so often explained in the pages of this magazine — reveals that a powerful New Europe is on the horizon!

The Bible foretells a gigantic world-trading system to be formed in our time, possessing worldwide political power and influence. Ultimately, this prophesied New Europe will possess greater population, greater industrial and economic capacity, and greater military power than either the Soviet Union or the United States now possesses!

Nearly a quarter century ago, editor in chief Herbert W. Armstrong declared with reference to the newly created Common Market:

“It is one of the crucial developments of world history. It is bringing to life a slumbering giant. It is developing into — creating — a GIANT NEW WORLD POWER, that will be mightier than either Russia or the United States! It is swiftly, dynamically, fulfilling PROPHECY! It is resurrecting the ROMAN EMPIRE!” (Plain Truth, September 1961).

The dream of a united Europe has permeated the history of the Continent. The original Roman Empire fell in A.D. 476. But Bible prophecy revealed it was to be restored again and again over the centuries. The most recent attempt to revive the Roman Empire was by Benito Mussolini. Today we see the last resurrection of the Roman Empire springing to economic life! It will be composed of 10 nations or blocs of nations — but not necessarily the 10 now associated in the EC.

The final political union in Europe will not come about through slow, evolutionary means, but suddenly — in reaction to dire external threats to the Continent’s very existence! The “founding father” of the Common Market, Jean Monnet, foresaw this when he remarked that “necessity is the real federator.” The years just ahead will provide the specific events that will t rigger the final, sudden, desperate fusion of Europe.

Moreover, prophecy reveals that religion will have its part to play in inspiring enthusiasm for European unity. The Roman Catholic Church, locked in a struggle with Soviet atheism and U.S. secular consumerism, will reassume its historic role as a “glue” for Europe, cementing together the diverse peoples and cultures of the Continent.

New Superpower

The stage is set.

Europe stands on the threshold of unparalleled world power. By virtue of its economic dynamism, political muscle and continuing need for Middle Eastern oil, the coming United Europe will be in a position to reshape the geopolitical balance of the world! The stage is being set for Europe. It is working on having more unity and more international economic reach. Donald Trump is also a public motivator for the Europeans.

Yet, Europe will have economic distress before it unites to fulfill its prophesied economic dominance on the world. But for a time it will succeed.

Notice some of what is shown in places such as Revelation 18 discussing some of the reach of the end time European Babylon:

3 … all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury. (Revelation 18:3)

9 The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her … 19 in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! (Revelation 18:9,19)

Europe does not have to be perfect to do this. But perceived, for a time, as the best economic option for the world.

Although it does not look like that now to most people, Europe is prophesied to do so.

Trade will be a factor in what can be called World War III–and this war will be a conflict with Europe (but the ‘shooting’ aspect of this will not happen before 2027; for some details, see When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?).
