you are chasing discomfort: mostly movie scores, instrumentals, unsettling aura, perfect for spacing out, feels like sitting on the floor while the room around you is spinning 

silver mist: movie +gaming soundtracks, instrumentals, also really nice for falling asleep, feels like mornings in february

you are cramming for exams at 3am: calm instrumentals, actually helpful for deep focus, piano, occasional lofi of course, perfect to listen to when you are the only one still awake

purple neonlights: lofi, minimalistic beats, mostly instrumentals. apologising in advance for the amount of lofi anime openings but the aot brainrot got me bad

mint chocolate: feels very similar to purple neonlights, but with vocals. mostly korean chill rap/indie/rmb, feels like summer evenings and dozing off in the sun 

maths fuelled anxiety: feels like you have chugged a litre or two of coffee, drum and bass, electronic, more for low stim tasks and for waking yourself up, created this playlist out of irony but now i listen to it unironically 

bloodsworn death: this too is more for low stim tasks, mostly nordic folk, ambient and dark folk, soundtracks feat. vikings, game of thrones and skyrim, makes you want to forge a sword and raid a small town in england 

bayek: playlist based on bayek of siwa, the main protagonist of AC: origins, a game i love to pieces. only instrumentals, can feel like a fever dream, gives you the feeling of crossing deserts and exploring tombs 

viktor v: another character playlist based on victor vale from vicious by V.E Schwab. has lots of vocals and more distracting tracks, makes you feel like a villain or at least an antihero. feels like the colour grey

Summary: the fem!reader wakes up in a dark room, ripped away from Din and the child, not remembering who had taken her away from their clan of three

Warnings: mentions details from Season 2 

Her heart was racing, pounding against her ribcage with every shaky breath she took, darkness engulfed her, made a shudder crawl down her spine. (Y/n) didn’t remember how she ended up here, just seconds ago she had been by Din’s side, fighting against the approaching Stormtroopers, running up the hill, desperate to catch Grogu before he could be ripped away from them.

Din had been distracted, fighting off the white troopers, as (y/n) had reached the child, black, metallic arms had caught her, knocking her out cold, not giving Din any chance to rescue her. The Mandalorian had never felt that scared, only once before had he felt that gut wrenching feeling, the stabbing pain in his heart, eyes focused on his mother as he had seen her for the last time.

(Y/n) had never been too fond of the darkness, it awoke her anxiety, would remind her of all those lonely nights where she had wondered about her family, wondered about the place she came from, a place without a name. She longed for Din, longed for his calming voice, the gloved hands that would run along her back in soothing motions, she missed him.

Unspoken words hung in the air, her eyes would wander towards his frame every now and then, admiring the Mandalorian from afar. By now she should be used to the way her heart would skip a few beats, to the shudders that would run down her skin as he’d touch her, she was fully addicted to him, mind consumed by the thought of Din Djarin.

She loved him, loved the Mandalorian with all her heart, though she didn’t find the strength to come clean with her feelings, to let him in on the things she kept hidden away. Unknown to her he struggled with the same problem, Din didn’t want to overstep any boundaries, didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable with the feelings he nourished.

She couldn’t stop worrying about Grogu, wondering if he was safe, if Din had managed to rip him away from the dark troopers, but the feeling in the pit of her stomach made her doubt her hope. Metallic steps echoed through the dark room, the door slid open, bright, neonlight engulfed her, robbing her of her vision for a glimpse of a moment. “Well, look who’s awake” the voice knocked all air out of her lungs, (y/e/c) eyes finding his dark ones, Moff Gideon.

“Where is he?” she had to clear her dry throat, (y/n)’s hoarse voice reverberated through the dark, metallic room, “the Child? You don’t need to worry about him”. (Y/n) shifted her weight onto her feet, only now she seemed to realize that she was chained to the floor, keeping her from moving too much. “I want to see him” she tried to swallow down the fear that began to flood through her veins, tried to keep her voice from trembling too much, but Gideon seemed to look right through her facade.

“Don’t hide from me cyar’ika” Din placed his hand on her side, pulling her into his armoured chest, gloved fingers tangled in her (y/h/c) hair. “I-” a deep sigh spilled from her lips, his scent crawled up her nostrils, made her forget all about the worries that had formed a lump in her throat. “I got you” he felt the need to remind her that he’d keep her safe, Din would always try to protect her, she was like the air he breathed, keeping him alive.

The tall man clicked his tongue, ripping her out of the memory, Gideon took a step closer, nudging her knee with the tip of his boot “the Mandalorian will come looking for you, I’m sure of it, finally giving me a chance to kill him”. 

Tears blurred her vision, the thought of a dead Din Djarin awoke her darkest and deepest fears, she wouldn’t survive without him, wouldn’t be able to move on without Din. “Not if I kill you first” (y/n) tugged on the chains once again, a pathetic, helpless movement, the sight made him chuckle, shaking his head at the seemingly desperate girl.

“Let me show you something” Gideon called for two troopers, forcefully she got ripped onto her feet, hands getting tied together by a pair of ice cold handcuffs. The troopers gave her a shove, (y/n) stumbled out of the room, following Gideon down the hallway, wondering where he was taking her to. 

Abruptly he stopped in front of a black door, nodding towards the troopers, the frown on her features deepened. Behind the door Grogu was placed on the floor, hands in cuffs, but he seemed unharmed, at least something to calm her worrying heart.

“The force is strong with him” Gideon’s words caught her off guard, silent words he whispered, creeping closer to a confused (y/n). “You feel it too, don’t you, you have always known about his abilities, the power he carries” no words left her chapped lips, eyes not letting go of the child she’d call her own, the child she’d give her life for, the child she’d protect with everything she owned. 

“Follow me” it seemed like Gideon wasn’t done with her just yet, making his way towards another room, pointing towards the framed glass doors “dark troopers” she mumbled the words, intrigued by the sight in front of her.

Proudly he nodded his head, hands interlaced behind his back “you are strong (y/n), you could achieve great things here, the first order is the place where you belong”. Her (y/e/c) eyes snapped towards him, eyebrows knitted together, lips pulled into a thin line “I’d never join the first order”. She had to swallow down the need to spit at him, disgusted by the words he spoke, (y/n) could never go against Din like that, wouldn’t do something this cruel to the man she loved.

“Din, there’s something I need to tell you” he tilted his head to the side, hidden, brown eyes focused on her, just as she parted her lips the cooing of the child interrupted her, coaxing an exhausted huff out of her. The second Din turned away from her she had to bite down on her lower lip, maybe it wasn’t time just yet, maybe she should wait, there would be enough opportunities to tell him all about the love she felt for him.

But now it was too late, there was no time left, (y/n) couldn’t let go of him, without telling him how she felt, she needed to tell him, needed to finally let those words roll off her tongue.

A disappointed sigh left Gideon, he shook his head, “you see” he tugged on her handcuffs, pulling her down the hallway, towards the cell she had woken up in. “I don’t think you understand (y/n), I know you feel the connection between us”. There was no use denying it, from the first moment their paths had crossed she had felt a weird sensation crash upon her, the need to talk to him, to follow the tall man. (Y/n) had never understood why she felt so safe and secure around him.

He gave her a shove into the dark room, body crashing against the wall, “this can go two different ways, you either join me and survive, or you’ll go down, just like that pathetic Mandalorian”.

MONDAY. Could a picture be more fitting? After a busy few weeks and desperate need for just a day of catching up with adult life, this morning I found it SO hard to get out of bed. I looked in the mirror at myself like 'don't worry girl, we'll get a nap in there for you somewhere today' and it's only now where I'm like 'Okay I'm feeling good, this week should just come at me!' - Why is life like that? Deep within the hegemonic core cluster, the brutal but sleek form of the ship Helion cruised with deadly intent across the gravity well of Arkana, the seat of the ruling elite. In its wake, the unraveling, doomed form of the defence moon Scarecrow tumbled across the planetary shore, untethered from its anchor of aeons - core breached and leaking into the vast cold vacuum. The crew stared out over the destruction, the horror of permanent nothingness at such a scale penetrating deep; millions of warriors erased out of existence by the ship's darkmatter device in a moment with the tearing of the moon. On the surface of Arkana below, the effects were already being felt, with tidal waves towering over urban habitations,and the planetary plates starting to heave and twist in reaction to the forever-changed physics. The planetscape was contorting to a new form, its body now free from the pull of its closest moon, mindless to the destruction wrought upon the tiny beings and colonies that lay upon its surface. As death itself swept across the circumference of the orb, they observed from the safety of their superweapon high above... the planetary destroyer Helion, decades in the making and the last hope to free themselves from the tyranny of their brutal overlords - the violent breaker of their peoples' chains.
