The X-Men walk into them doing all kinds of things. Some more tame then others but sometimes it's debauched. And just sometimes Wade will lock eyes with them and smirk because Logan's his. They can't have this not anymore

The kids are better about I then the adults. The kids know to not just walk into closed doors.

The X-Men are so used to have free access to anywhere Logan is that this is brand new to them

The first time Laura sees this she's utterly speechless. She never thought she'd see any version of her father trust anyone enough to nap on them.

She locks eyes with Wade who looks bashful. Laura doesn't know what to make of it or how this has happened. She is so fucking confused and Wade just looks back down at Logan with do much love in his eyes it nearly kills her.

Logan trusts this man this man who had saved them all and she gets it, but at the same time can hardly believe it. Her Logan would never....right? Or was it that he never had this option.

She wonders what would happen if her dad had someone else someone he trusted like this. What would have changed?

She wonders if anyone else but then would realize how big of a deal this is. She wonders if they would care.

Logan despite all of his numerous and uncountable flaws has Wade looking at him like he's something to be cherished.

Then Laura watches as Wade after a bad day of pain and getting shot burned and blown up is just tired.

And Logan without missing a beat as soon as he's in comfortable clothes pulls the man to his chest and lays down. Wade splutters unsure of what exactly was happening before it seemed to dawn on him.

He relaxes and sinks further into the man as he feels himself already grow tired. He just sighs and snuggles into the other man's hold before falling asleep.

Logan looks down at him with the same softness Laura had seen so many times in Wade's eyes.
