random question, but for the mun, what are your favorite ships for Yuugetsu?

Anon, you really want the other muns to kill me, don’t you? Fiiiiine. Here’s the big ones, platonic and romantic. Most of them are gonna be platonic, so you’ve been warned. And maybe ones that I thought would be cute even though we don’t have anything planned.

@welcome-to-our-domain - We plan on having a platonic ship between Erebus and Yuu. Knowing Yuu and her clinginess with friends, it’ll probably be one of those “We know what you’re thinking and no, we’re not a couple” friendships. Especially with the nature of Yuu’s Rozenkreuz verse, she’s in a new world with few people she knows, so that makes Erebus’ friendship all the more important. 

@hisvanity - Platonic understanding and deep respect define this dynamic. They have a bit in common, especially with the fact that they have disabilities that were made public without their consent, which the public then made a huge fuss about. And I’ll be damned if Wallace isn’t a bit more humble by the time we finish what we’re plotting. Transgenerational friendships are underrated. Did I mention they both love Water-types? Water Gym!Yuu and Wallace might be interesting, as would Shifter!Yuu.

@alwaysyearning - Oh boy, where do I start? From their first interaction via Showdown, this was bound to happen. Yuu’s teasing doesn’t make it any better, and it’s just so funny to see Yukine just so red-faced from Yuu’s antics. It’s shippy and dumb and I love it. The best part? The entire thing started from accidental flirting. 

@themaryiestsuetoeversue - These two I feel would be the best of friends, tbh. Both of them are so two-faced and antisocial, and just??? I feel as if they would just understand the other, given more interaction. We’ve only started interacting, and yet I already feel like they’d just click.

@gentiillesse - There isn’t much I can say other than let Yuugetsu spoil the birb. Birb is precious and deserves to be spoiled. Yuu and Annalise doing things together and Yuu teaching Annalise how to human 101 is a pretty cute idea. Maybe Yuu lets Anna have a job taking care of the greenhouse and just... lets her live in the Gym? Idek.

@porttownprince - We haven’t talked much ooc or ic, but why do I already just want to see more of these two? Trip is a very underrated character who is deeper in character than one might think, and honestly deserves more attention. He wasn’t the one-dimensional jerk that Paul was, and he had his flaws and cuter moments, too. I find older Trip’s dynamic very interesting, and it’s handled very well. The way he acts around Yuu after watching her perform was also really interesting, and it really makes me wonder how they would interact in other situations.

@oceanicmaestro - Primarina buddies! I kinda want to see Yuu interact with more wild ‘mons because of Alavastor. She doesn’t really like to catch ‘mons without their permission these days, so seeing them react to her policy, so to speak. Them teaching the other their language (probably behind the scenes) and hanging out, being friends who respect each other despite being a trainer and a wild Primarina would be pretty neat.

I'm in the zone again. Yippee!

Sorry it's been quiet here, I've been all over the place, especially with the fact that midterms and my birthday overlap (it was on Saturday, ahahaha,) as well as Canto 7 consuming my spare time. But I've been working on some things in the meantime!

The biggest thing is that I've added and reorganized my verses. I have a lot of new AUs from Discord shenanigans, so with how those are, I now have a section for all the AUs that I share with people. That way, those not in the loop know which ones might require some context from other blogs, or just me explaining ooc.

I've also updated my rules to reflect any new major content warnings those verses require, so please re-read that section if you have sensitivites to certain types of content, just to say safe.

The affected verse has been appropriately labeled at the top of the page, so in case you check it out, I've made sure to give my due diligence. But hopefully, I'll finish the other pages as well. I plan on reblogging my promo and doing a starter/plotting call again as well, just to try to spark things back into action.

I really should put a small disclaimer here - DESPITE the fact that her default verse here (her actual mainverse is over on deusproxy,) is the center of this blog, she's actually not available for interaction JUST yet. Certain plot points need to happen before I let her out into the wild, but her PM verses (that I still need to finish the bios for,) her Legendary verses (Melchiora and Eunika,) her BD2 verse, and the Aurora-Weaver are all available to interact with!

Hesperia ALSO isn't available to interact with yet, but she will be in relative short order, for similar reasons. There is quite a bit I have plotted with people, so things will happen when they happen.

So uh... I might be moving this blog to its own account? I’ll have a new URL, too, so please keep watch for any notices regarding the matter. That being said, all threads will not be dropped, and there might be some retcons here and there. This blog will be either deleted or archived, depending on whether I feel like reblogging all the HCs to the new location. If not, I will simply add everything to the HC doc.

Random Headcanon Time: Due to the Nature vs. Nurture concept oft talked about in psychology, a Pokémon’s Nature contributes to its personality, but isn’t always obvious. In fact, its Nature may not even be present in its personality at all, due to the conditions of which it was raised in. It will, however, keep its stats the same. So a Nature might not show unless a Trainer has been watching it since birth, but the way it affects stats is the same as it is in the games.

Yuugetsu loves the scent of lavender, and a lot of flowers, really. She likes gentle scents, pleasant, but not strong. She also enjoys the scent of the ocean breeze, morning fog, or earthy forests. The smell of tea, spices, and other such ingredients is pleasant, too. But far and away her favorite is indeed lavender, though jasmine is another list-topper as well.

The human mind. Psychology is something she could read about all day, applying that knowledge in the real world and using it to her advantage, even. She’s well aware of how society and hive-minded thinking is corrupting people by the thousands, as well as people who have been damaged by that line of thought. This is part of why she’s picky with who she keeps close - she wants to care for and heal the scars of the damaged, and has zero tolerance for those who unrighteously damaged another’s mind permanently. She has no qualms with using her knowledge to toy with those kind of people if they truly deserve it. The human mind is so amazing, so full of potential, but easily misled and manipulated, and that’s why she wants to learn more about it.

Due to... unavoidable issues in my personal life, my activity will be... very limited. However, I will try to send in asks every once in a while, and I have been thinking about getting a new theme and changing my mun FC. (I was thinking about Ailane/Peipain from SB69 or a certain black-and-red FC of a certain rabbit, possibly even other icons from the same series due to the fact they’re sitting on my flash drive from a blog that I ended up deleting.... options, options...)
