4: If your Rook was a companion, where would they be found?

okay, i'm gonna be honest... i might be stupid but i have no idea if this means what his recruitment mission would look like or where he'd be found in the lighthouse :sob: for recruitment mission... definitely would be found in treviso. he'd be older, around mid-late 30's. teia and viago would put the player on his trail, saying that he's the one that they usually send on the more... spectacular jobs. he has experience in putting down the odds and ends of thedas, and two risen elven "gods" are more than a bit odd. he's currently mapping out antaam patrol routes as those tend to change on a weekly basis. blah blah player goes to find him blah blah he isn't there blah blah turns out he's realized the player was following him so he set up an "ambush" blah blah says he'll join but a high ranking member of the antaam has just become vulnerable so he wants to take them out. in the lighthouse i was thinking his little area would be to the right of harding's :) it would look like a little replica of the grande market in treviso :)

11: Weapon of choice?

let's hear it for dual daggers, everyone!!! well, actually it's a longsword in his right hand and a rapier in the left, but that's pedantic. more often than not, they're coated in poison. he mixes it himself. he's very fond of them.

14: What hobbies does your Rook have?

he likes cooking. he's really good at it! he learned how because if he had to have that rice bowl again with nothing but butter and onions he would've done something drastic. the kitchen in the lighthouse is incredibly well-stocked with a variety of spices, fresh produce and meats, and sauces. his specialty is antivan cuisine, of course, but bring him a recipe and he'll dive headfirst into it (hell, it doesn't even have to be written. just give him the vibe). plus, there's no better way to deal with anger and frustration than to bring your cleaver down on a poor animal's carcass. very much does not like it when someone else is in the kitchen with him, but he'll put up with it as long as they don't mess things up. he's had years of cramped living with a bunch of other fledglings to come to terms with the fact that someone is gonna be in his personal space no matter what. he also does crossword puzzles because he's a 50-year-old trapped in a 20-something-year-old's body. keeps his memory and mind sharp! he likes doing these with neve :) they sit in silence most of the time. it's comfortable.

21: What is your Rook's favorite ability?

toxic dash. 1) it allows him to close the gap quicker than running 2) it allows his poisons to cut deep, so if his initial strike doesn't kill them outright, the rapid onset of necrosis will, and 3) it sunders his opponents armor and sets them up for a rather volatile explosion. it's not as flashy as a thousand cuts (which is my personal favorite because it looks cool hrheurhuf), but it gets the job done.

30: What's your favorite thing about your Rook?

oh, his hair. it's luscious. he uses ouai. jk jk. i do like his loyalty to the crows. not necessarily because i agree with it but because i think it's interesting. to him, they took him off the streets. they fed him, clothed him, and taught him the skills necessary to survive. he's suffered, others have suffered, but it was all for the greater good, was it not? the crows rid thedas of undesirables. this is the least he could do. forcing him to look at the way the antaam and the venatori serve ghilan'nain and elgar'nan with similar zeal and have him wonder if he's heading down the same path. he wouldn't be able to deal with this immediately and, honestly, he would never leave the crows, but it's something for him to chew on. lucanis has a couple of banters where he mentions not assassinating certain targets because he felt like they didn't deserve it, and it has me wondering if dante would've done the same (he wouldn't lol). idkkkkk i guess it's something to think about. smiley face.
