Oh, there's an interdimensional crisis? Damn, bro, that's crazy. Can we talk about how I can change my legacy camera from active to passive mode?

A nation is being faced with a decision that will shape its future? That's nice. I have finally dislodged the metal rod from my anus and G'raha Tia provides me with positive affirmations while I gamble.

The actual end of the world now looms over the star? Um, I don't know if you noticed, but anyone can wear a maid outfit and I can do the Sonic Unleashed promotional render pose literally any time I want.

thanks to all the dawntrail criticism, i’m rapidly learning that what other people think of as “pacing issues,” i think of as necessary time spent getting acquainted with a new environment, its history and the folks that live there. what they felt was a slog, i felt was the equivalent of going on vacation and submersing yourself in rich, previously unknown cultures.

so basically what i mean to say is i have a true adventurer’s spirit and everyone who gripes about this expansion’s pacing is a loser. (SORT OF a joke. but also not really. but also really. but also n)

Imagine being the founder of some failed retail chain and discovering that the primary way your legacy has been immortalized, the single greatest impact you made on people's minds and how you will be remembered into the future, is dozens if not hundreds of hours of YTPMVs which random strangers on the internet have made in their spare time by repurposing some random commercial you'd put out years back.

What might have once been considered infinite, free, crowd-sourced advertising for your brand is now dancing on the grave of your defunct business, your life's work now a mere footnote in the story of its mascot screaming erratically to the tune of Rainbow Tylenol and every anime theme song ever written, a brainworm reclaimed by the public and completely divorced from its original context, outliving you and your capitalistic ambitions.

Being a real person sucks, I should have been a fictional character that sets off all the chuds in an existing fanbase when entering the franchise for "taking over the whole story" (being a nuanced character with agency who isn't a cisgender man).
