Muse Profile: Futaba Sakura

Fandom: Persona 5

Bio: Futaba Sakura is a 16 year old, hyper intelligent, geeky hacker, and up until recently, she was a shut in. Blaming herself for her mother, Wakaba’s, death, she locked herself inside her uncle Sojiro’s house and suffered auditory hallucinations pertaining to this for years. However, fate intervened in the form of the Phantom Thieves, a group of teenagers who stole the hearts of distorted people. She begged them to steal her own heart.

Through a series of coincidences, Futaba wandered into her own Palace-her distorted view of the world-and met her own Shadow, her darkened self. There, she realized that government officials had pinned the blame on her and that she was faultless in her mother’s death, coming to terms with everything and awakening her Persona Necronomicon. Afterwards, she became the Phantom Thieves’ tech savvy navigator, code name “Oracle”, and slowly, but surely, started to come out of her shell.

Futaba is an anxious, agoraphobic teenager with amazing computer knowledge, but if you’re in her circle or you find her in the Metaverse she opens up completely. There, she’s a snarky navigator and supporter, happily referencing out whatever video games or anime that suits her fancy. She hates corruption but loves being in her element and helping her friends.

Verses:

V1: phantom thief of justice!-Futaba’s main verse; she’s the navigator and support-giver for the Phantom Thieves. Whether she’s in the real world or the Metaverse, or even switching between them mid-thread!

V2: hermit hacker-A verse where Futaba is able to utilize her Persona in the real world to a certain extent. While channeling her power, she can hack technology much easier as well as slightly enhance people’s abilities if needed. Well suited to muses that aren’t compatible with modern-day Tokyo/her main verse.

Anything Else?: Futaba is 16. I cannot stress this enough. While this was the age of consent in Japan until recently, I personally am not comfortable with her being put in risqué situations. Flirting and romance/shipping is totally fine, but there’s a certain line that I won’t tolerate being crossed. It’s in my rules, but I figured it more than deserves to be restated with emphasis here.
