‎”If I had a thousand sons’ like Abbas (س), I would sacrifice each one for the son of Lady Fatima Zahra (س).”

Martyrdom of Ummal Baneen (sa)

                          اﻟﻠﮭﻢ ﺻﻞ ﻋﻠﯽ ﷴ وآل ﷴ وﻋﺠّﻞ ﻓﺮﺟﮭﻢ

                   13 Jumada II 1440     -    Tuesday 19 February 2019

My sincerest condolences to the Imam of Our Time Imam Al Mahdi (atfs), Imam Ali Amir al Momineen (as), Imam Hassan (as), Imam Hussain (as), Sayyida Zainab (sa), Ummal Kulthoom (sa), Hazrat Abbas (as) and his brothers Hazrat Jaffar ibn Ali (as), Hazrat Uthman ibn Ali (as) and Hazrat Abdullah ibn Ali (as), and to all the Ahlul Bayt (as) on the wafaat of The Mother of Sons, Ummal Baneen (sa).

Ummul Baneen (sa) had such sincerity and love toward the Holy Prophet’s progeny that when she received the news stating the martyrdom of her four children she said: “Tell me about Hussain (as)�� and when she received the news of Imam Hussain’s (as) martyrdom she said: “All of the arteries of my heart are torn. May all of my children and whatever that exist under this azure heaven be sacrificed for the sake of Imam Hussain (as)” 

Ummul Baneen (sa) gathered the women of Madina in her house and they all cried for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (as), this was the first ever Majlis conducted after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (as).

After the arrival of Imam Sajjad (as) and Sayyida Zainab (sa) in Madina, Ummul Baneen (sa) used to continuously gather the women in her house and narrate to them how Imam Hussain (as) and his companions were martyred by Yazidi forces (la).

Ummul Baneen (sa) was a great poetess and is considered as the first Noha (lamentation poetry) reciter for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (as). She used to regularly visit Jannat al-Baqi cemetery in Madina and recite her Nohas in a very sad voice that everybody present there used to weep bitterly.

She transformed the Jannat al-Baqi cemetery in Madina as “the Centre of Azadari of Imam Husain (as)”. The Nohas recited by Ummul Baneen for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (as) are recorded in history and are considered as masterpieces in Arabic literature.

May Allah (swt) bless Ummal Baneen (sa) eternally for her sons and their sacrifices, and their love and service to the Ahlul Bayt (as). Ummal Baneen is an amazing role model for servants of the Ahlul Bayt (as) and was perfectly named The Mother of Sons for her sacrifice and love to Islam and the Progeny of Prophet Mohammed (saws).

May Allah (swt) eternally bless Imam Ali (as)’s parents Hazrat Abu Talib (as) and Bibi Fatima bint Asad (as). Imam Ali’s (as) birth in the Ka'bah, the Holiest place of Worship, is the greatest miracle and blessing which highlights Islam’s greatest guardian and first Imam (as). No messenger, prophet, or saint was ever blessed with such an honour. He was brought up under the care and affection of the Holy Prophet (saws). As Imam Ali (as) says: “The Holy Prophet (saws) brought me up in his own arms and fed me with his own morsel. I followed him wherever he went like a baby-camel following its mother. Each day a new aspect of his character would beam out of his noble person and I would accept it and follow it as a command."

  اﻟﻠﮭﻢ ﺻﻞ ﻋﻠﯽ ﷴ وآل ﷴ وﻋﺠّﻞ ﻓﺮﺟﮭﻢ

Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “The superiority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib (as) over this nation is like the superiority of Ramadan Month over the other months. The superiority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib (as) over this nation is like the superiority of the night of fate over the other nights. The superiority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib (as) over this nation is like the superiority of Friday over the other days. Bliss is for he who believes in him and admits his Wilaya (Divine Custody). Wayl (Woe-Valley in hell) is for he who denies him and his rights. It is a right on Allah (swt) to deprive him of the intercession of Mohammad (sawa) on Resurrection Day.”

May Allah (swt) pour curse upon curse on all those who usurped the right of Muhammad (saws) and Muhammad’s Household (as) and to the last follower who acceded to this deed.

Arba’een of Martyrdom of the Master of Martyrs Imam Hussain (as)

                          اﻟﻠﮭﻢ ﺻﻞ ﻋﻠﯽ ﷴ وآل ﷴ وﻋﺠّﻞ ﻓﺮﺟﮭﻢ

My sincerest condolences to the Imam of Our Time Imam al-Mahdi (atfs) and to Our Holy Prophet (saws), and to Amir al Momineen Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as), and Sayedatun Nisa al-Alamin Fatima Al-Zahra (sa), and to Imam Hassan al Mujtaba (as), and to Sayeda Zainab (sa), and Sayeda Um Kalthoom (sa), and to Ummal Baneen (sa), and all the Ahlul Bayt (as) and their followers on the Arbaeen of the Martyrdom of the Master of Martyrs Imam Hussain (as)  🏴 (20 Safar/8 October 2020).

On this day Sayeda Zainab (sa) and Imam Zain al Abideen (as) returned to Karbala with the heads of all the martyrs that were severed on Ashura in Karbala and buried them with their bodies. On this day the blessed severed head of Imam Hussain (as) that recited Quran and supplications while on the point of a lance, was returned to his body and at rest finally. May Allah (swt) bless Imam Hussain (as) eternally for his sacrifice and the sacrifice of his family (as) and companions (as). 

“O Allah, pour curses upon the foremost persecutor who usurped the right of Muhammad and Muhammad’s Household and the last follower who acceded to his deed.

O Allah, pour curses upon the gang that struggled against al-Hussain and who supported each other against him, paid homage to his enemies, and participated in slaying him.

O Allah, pour curses upon all of them.”
