Can't he be killed? (generalized theory)
All info about why Wesker is not dead is now compiled in one place with new info. Each chapter is important to the overall meaning, so don't skip a chapter.
Tumblr media
1. Body 2. Cutscene detailing 3. End credits re5 4. Umbrella Corps 5. Suspicious mentions 6. Photo on the wall 7. Weapons 8. Conclusion
I think we should start with the most important fact on which all theories hold - his body. So first we will talk about the properties of Wesker's body.
Chapter 1. Body
Let's start with the infection. The virus in Wesker's body is a single virus called Prototype, which he got from Birkin. According to Birkin's note (Virus Memo from Umbrella Chronicles), Prototype must be injected a few minutes before the "envisioned contingency". This is an obvious hint that the virus only activates after an "envisioned contingency", i.e. after stress (physical). But let's answer the question, what is stress, scientifically speaking? That's right, stress is hormones. When a person is injured, their body releases cortisol, the stress hormone, adrenaline, and a host of others. It's these substances that activate the Prototype virus in the body.
When Wesker injected himself with this virus, he needed to receive any conditions of increased stress, in simple words - to cause the very "envisioned contingency", to increase the influence of the virus, helping the body to initiate synthesis. When Tyrant wounded him, Wesker went into anabiosis (according to Virus Memo), and the virus was instantly activated because the wounding caused a huge amount of hormones to be released into the bloodstream. Because of Wesker's original compatibility with the Prototype, he is the perfect host for the virus and the effect he got is the maximum of what the Prototype is capable of.
Tumblr media
During his anabiosis, the virus regenerated tissues in Wesker's body, repairing his fatal injury, and continued to slowly alter his body, fusing and invading RNA into his. When Wesker woke up, he didn't have any special abilities at first, though his eyes could glow for a brief moment. The glow in his eyes is closely related to emotion (also hormones), but I'll talk about that later. He felt the lightness of his movements, felt that he could move faster than before (Umbrella Chronicles), because he didn't know what he was really capable of yet, and the virus hadn't had time to change his body completely (we can tell that from his eyes, which were still blue).
Three months after this event, Wesker was able to mutate permanently. His eyes are the only external evidence that the mutation is complete and the virus has changed his body (Code: Veronica).
He has gained a number of abilities: his speed, thanks to the improved structure of his body tissues, can now rival that of a bullet. When he moves quickly, it looks like teleportation to normal people, because the human eye can't keep track of such fast movement. His body is solid, making it painful to damage him in melee combat (in re5, Chris's fists hurt and his face contorts into a grimace after he punches Wesker in the face). His regeneration is capable of healing injuries of any severity. He also has increased strength, but its limits are unknown because Wesker hasn't used it on anything significant. However, he can punch through dense metal with his hand, as well as lift a heavy rocket.
And all of these abilities are closely related to hormones.
Remember how his eyes is glowing in Umbrella Chronicles when he got mad at the RED QUEEN? Now remember every battle against him in re5, as well as the Spencer death scene. Every time, before using the abilities, Wesker's eyes would glow. His eyes are the truest indicator of his emotions. If his eyes are glowing - he is annoyed about something, angry, and all these emotions are the result of hormones.
Hormones are not only the element that activated the virus inside Wesker in re1, but also the tool he uses to control his abilities.
Wesker, provoking his emotions, unconsciously causes bioluminescence in his eyes. By experiencing emotions and making his eyes glow because of it, he can change the density of his body, increase his speed, strength.
Further evidence of this is the scene where Excella pierces his skin with a needle and injects the serum without obstruction. Wesker is calm, his eyes are not glowing, his body density is normal. If he were angry - the needle would break against his skin.
And now we come to the most interesting part of this chapter... What happens if you piss him off to the max? Can he become even stronger than he was in re5? I won't keep you in suspense, the answer to these questions already exists officially - Lost in Nightmares (re5 DLC).
During the events of re5, Wesker's powers are restrained by two factors at once - he wants to test what Chris can do, so he deliberately restrains his powers, and he's also not angry, just annoyed. Because of these two factors, all the fights with him in re5 are only a fraction of what he is capable of.
But in Lost in Nightmares nothing holds him back, for here he is truly angry, he is enraged. He has learned the humiliating truth about himself and his life. And feeling unthinkable irritation that some decrepit old man has the nerve to do this to him and then proclaim his old body as God, Wesker can't contain his emotions. For 10 whole years of living with this power, he kept emotions under control and learned to control them so that his abilities were as effective as possible, which is why such a big shock removed all restrictions from his consciousness and everything that was being held back came out.
In a fight with him he would spare no one, any blow he threw could prove fatal. One simple push with his hand is a long stun. Missed a qte? You're dead. Even in a normal comparison, he's much stronger here than in re5. And that's thanks to the fact that his power is fueled by his anger and frustration, which is a huge amount of hormones.
Tumblr media
In the final battle re5 (volcano), Wesker is very angry, but there's a factor that keeps him from using his powers the same way he did in Lost in Nightmares - it's the serum (PG67A/W). But what did this serum do to him? Did it take away his powers? No.
PG67A/W does not take away Wesker's powers, but instead stabilizes them (if administered under the right conditions, when the virus inside him destabilizes over time). If an excessive dose of PG67A/W is administered and causes an overdose, his body becomes severely stressed, as hinted by his headache. After an overdose of PG67A/W, his body tries to cope with the strain and his strength increases even more, making it hard to control. When Chris injected him with another extra dose of PG67A/W, his strength became impossible to control and he gave up speed altogether. This can be seen in the airplane fight: Wesker gradually loses the "grace" of his attacks, they become chaotic, and he loses the ability to move quickly, and with each "teleportation" his jerks become shorter and shorter, and eventually he loses control of this ability altogether.
However, his strength and regeneration aren't something need special control over, nor are they something can "just not use" like high speed. Those are his passive skills, if I may say so, but they too are made more effective by his emotions.
When Wesker impaled the rocket with his hand, he proved that he still had his strength. But strength alone is not enough to stab a rocket. Even the strongest man risks breaking his fingers if he tries to do the same. Wesker's body density is off the charts in this situation. He's so durable that this is the only battle where he can't be stunned (even with a rocket launcher).
He's incredibly angry, and he's also overdosed on Uroboros and all his previous powers are aggravated due to PG67A/W. In that situation, he's invulnerable. And if such a creature falls into the lava, its body density and regeneration won't allow the volcano's temperature to critically harm it.
At the end of re5, Wesker has all the conditions to survive.
Tumblr media
Sorry for the lack of gifs with all the moments when Wesker's eyes start to glow… I felt lazy.
Chapter 2. Cutscene detailing
The cutscenes in re5 are incredibly dynamic and directed. The detailing is also their key element, which gives such an aesthetic effect to the overall picture. The game had enough budget to make the cutscenes top-notch, and the developers were up to the task. Or not?
Wesker is a character that is no small part of RE. Not only did he appear in re1, Code: Veronica, and re4, but he was also a major character in Umbrella Chronicles. He had a big impact on lore, other characters, and perhaps even helped boost the popularity of the franchise. If such an important character is destined to die at the end of re5, shouldn't he have a detailed cutscene showing his death? Nemesis had a death animation shown in re3 (1999), even Saddler had a death animation in re4 (2005). Even Sergei Vladimir had a death cutscene in Umbrella Chronicles (2007), but not Wesker in the 2009 game.
Tumblr media
In the scene where his death, the final act of his life, is supposed to be shown, all the attention was given to rocket launchers. Don't you find that strange? And then the main characters fly away without even checking (at least from afar) if there will be any activity in the volcano after their shot or not. Isn't Chris used to the fact that after taking critical damage, his enemies can mutate a lot? Flying away like that right away is stupid.
I find the "understatement" in his "death" a brilliant decision - it's a bridge to the future that will serve as an excuse for "why he's alive" if they bring him back, or an excuse for "why he's dead" if Capcom doesn't want to use him again.
Now let's turn our attention to the death of Alex Wesker in Revelations 2:
Tumblr media
Her death is final, which is why it has such a detailed cutscene. Her current consciousness is now in a new body (Natalia), so it's necessary to show that the old Alex is finished.
Chapter 3. End credits re5
Toward the end of the song in the credits, you can see a dark object appear below the surface of the water, slowly floating to the left. It's hard to see, so I brightened the video so everyone can see it.
This object appears to be shrouded in tentacles, and also floats from the side of the volcano where Wesker "died". There are no other creatures created with Uroboros in the vicinity. So it can't be anyone else but him.
It could be considered an official hint that he's alive.
Chapter 4. Umbrella Corps
Tumblr media
The 2015 game (Umbrella Corps) contains straightforward hints that Wesker is alive. This game is officially declared canon, so ignore its poor ratings. Despite being a bad game, there is some good information in it, but not much at all. So...
The plot: the main character is an unnamed mercenary nicknamed 3A-7. He is part of the Umbrella Corps, a secret corps that belongs to Blue Umbrella, an organization that "reformed and got on the right path". Didn't it seem like a lie back in re7, right? The purpose of this corps is to search for bioweapon samples in quarantined areas that the BSAA has failed to sterilize well. The main character is involved in an operation called "The Experiment" but survives every step of the way due to his combat experience. The plot glimpses an unknown Corps Leader (Executive) who even his subordinates know nothing about. One man who sent 3A-7 on missions once wondered why this Executive was so feared, why he was so intimidating, and why he knew so much about the events in re4, as if he had been to that island himself. But only two men survived the events in re4 - Leon and Wesker. A male subordinate attempted to get the Executive's DNA, but disappeared in the process. He was killed for wanting to know the truth and was replaced by a woman who also knew nothing about her boss. At the end of the story, the main character survives even after the most difficult challenge and is contacted by this mysterious Executive and told that he has plans for 3A-7. The main character is voiced by D.C. Douglas, just like the Executive, whose voice can be heard in co-op mode at the end of the missions.
His phrases: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe7LEaA7em8.
Wesker is also voiced by Douglas. So why would Capcom use such a recognizable voice on a random character? Why voice two characters at the same time with that voice? It can only make sense if the Leader turns out to be Wesker, who survived the volcano.
It's all very suspicious and ambiguous.
Chapter 5. Suspicious mentions
In re6, everyone suddenly learned that all this time Wesker had a son he didn't even know about - Jake Muller.
Tumblr media
The note Jake's mother left him before she died reads:
"My beloved son, Jake. Please forgive your mother for leaving you alone so soon. And please don't hate your father. Your father surely still loves you from the bottom of his heart. Stay strong and know that you will meet him one day."
Don't you find Ms. Muller's certainty that Jake will one day meet Wesker suspicious? It certainly could have been a dramatic element, telling the viewer that Jake will not meet him because his father has died and he is now all alone. However, now, knowing all the facts telling us otherwise, Jake's mother's words sound different. They sound like a prophecy. Why was she sure that Jake and Wesker would meet? How deep is this iceberg?
Chapter 6. Photo on the wall
On Karl Heisenberg's (re8) wall are many pictures that are intertwined with red line - it's his board for investigating Miranda and everyone involved in the Village. Chris is one of those involved, Karl is aware that he is here. However, if you use the free camera to get closer to Chris' photo... you can see that there is a red line running from him to some small gray photo that is hard to see from a distance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At first it appears to be a photo of Karl, however the person in the photo is older than him. I believe this character is intentionally made to look like Karl to confuse the players and not give too direct hints. The other people from the photo are easily recognizable, even references to re1 are present. However, this person from the photo is unknown. The only thing that is known is that he is somehow related to Chris.
If you superimpose Wesker's face from re4r over this photo, you get a perfect match of facial features. If you doubt it's him, just look closely at the shape of the nose, the distance between the nose and mouth, and then look at the shape of the face and chin. They are identical. Considering that the rumors of re4r development came out in 2021 (the year re8 was released), it's not surprising if Wesker's new face could have been used here as a reference... or a hint.
Tumblr media
When comparing, it's obvious that this is an aged version of Wesker's new appearance from re4r. In 2021, at the time of the re8 storyline, he is 61 years old. Judging by the fact that Chris's photo is recent, that means Wesker's photo is fresh too. What is unusual is that he now has long hair. However, this could be a very logical outcome, as he chose to go into hiding after re5.
Here's my little edit where I only added different clothes and long hair.
Tumblr media
Chapter 7. Weapons
In re7 that it is revealed that the Blue Umbrella are using Wesker's designs to create weapons effective against biological threats. Various firearms signed as "Albert W." are now being used by BSAA soldiers. Isn't that strange? No matter how good these weapons are, naming them after a bioterrorist and enemy of humanity is a strange move, isn't it? Someone secretly respects him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter 8: Conclusion
Keeping all the previous points in mind, it's hard to seriously argue that Wesker is dead. There are too many hints that he can't be killed. There are also hints that he has a clone (two different characters with Wesker's voice in Umbrella Corps).
Once again, the "understatement" in his "death" is a brilliant decision, it's a bridge to the future that will serve as an excuse for "why he's alive" if they bring him back, or an excuse for "why he's dead" if Capcom don't want to use him again. But considering how often we see mentions of him and hints of being alive, Capcom really want back him as soon as possible.

Feels like I can't move
Leon Kennedy x Male Reader
Request- While leon is on a recon mission he stumbled upon a base and started looking around until he finds a photo of him and his husband, confused he starts searching harder and being so deep in the search he doesn't notice someone coming up behind him. The person then grabs Leon and pins him to the ground and saying how did he find this place Leon recognized the voice and called out readers name and reader stops what he's doing and let's Leon go.
Tumblr media
Leon managed to escape from a hurdle of zombies. He has a cut on his chest and arm but he didn't get bitten. It's getting dark soon and he doesn't have bullets left, or shelter to hide for the night. He runs towards the base and it's a steel fence, he sees a lock and it is opened. He opened the gate and then locked the gate, now zombies wouldn't get inside. He runs inside but he doesn't see anyone and the lights are dimmed. He keeps walking around then he sees an empty room, he walks inside. He starts to search for the first-aid kit while searching, he finds a photo on the ground. He picked it up and he was speechless and he is feeling confused. In the photograph, it's him and his husband and he has been separated from his husband.
He didn't notice someone sneaking up behind him. The lights are dim and you don’t notice it's Leon. You grabbed him and then pinned him to the ground, and you put the gun on his head, and your knee is on his back.
“Who are you!?” You yelled.
Leon recognized your voice.
“Y/N, it's me, Leon!” Leon yelled.
You put the gun away and get up, and then he turns around. You helped him stand up then he started to touch your face.
“It’s really you, Y/N,” Leon said.
“I missed you so much, Leon,” You said.
He hugs you tight and you are happy to see him. Then you felt his lips on yours and you started to kiss him back.
“I love you, Y/N,” Leon said.
“I love you too. What happened to you? Are you bitten?” You said.
“No, I’m not bitten. I got cut by the glass while trying to get away from the zombies. Are we safe here?” Leon said.
“It’s a long story. Follow me, I have a first-aid kit” You said.
“Are you here alone?” Leon asked.
“Yeah, the others left on their own paths. I stayed behind because I wasn't sure where to go so I could find you” You said.
“I was Carlos, Chris, and Claire but we got separated because The Umbrella Corp, found our location, and we separated from each other so they won't take us. Before coming here, a hurdle zombie saw me and now I'm here. They were going to help me look for you” Leon said.
“We are together now and we won't be apart again,” You said.
He kissed you again and he pulled you closer to him. You take your husband to the other room and he takes off his jacket and shirt. He sits on the bed and you grab the first aid kit, and then you start to clean his wounds and you put bandages on him.
“How did you end up here?” Leon asked.
“After we were separated, I found some people who I thought were trying to survive and help others, but they were the opposite. I did make a friend but they killed her but we managed to stop the others before killing us. We had to lure them into a trap to go outside and they got eaten. She got shot in the chest and I buried her in the back. This place has video cameras everywhere and silent alarms” You said.
“I’m sorry about your friend. I'm glad she helped you and I’m sorry I didn't find you sooner” Leon said.
“I’m not mad at you because you didn't find me sooner. I'm just happy that you are alive and here” You said.
“Me too,” Leon said.
You show him around the base. It's a massive building with many rooms and it has a weapon a room. You showed him the files of what they have been doing to other people. You give food to your husband and he starts to eat it fast.
“Slow down,” You said.
“I haven’t eaten in two days,” Leon said.
You giggled and he continued to eat fast. Leon was dirty and he was happy to take a hot shower, and you found spare clothes in his size.
✬ ✫ ✬ ✫
You and Leon are lying in bed together. You are lying on your back and he is lying on his side, and you are holding his hand.
“Remember the first day we met?” Leon asked.
“Yeah, I do. i will never forget that day” You said.
“I was surprised you said yes, Y/N. I just wish this didn't happen at all with zombies and the umbrella corp” Leon said.
“I know, but we can't change it. You pretend to be lost in the building even when you have the badge on” You smiled.
You met Leon at the station. He pretended to be lost in order to keep talking to you. He did ask you out and you said yes, dating for one year you and Leon got married. Many people said it wasn't a good idea because you haven't been dating him for long. But you and Leon didn't listen to anyone and just got married.
You kiss him on the lips and he has his hand on your cheek. He moves closer and he doesn't stop kissing you and he starts to smile.
“If we could stay here forever, I would be happy with that,” Leon said.
“Me too. We have everything here including weapons” You said.
He nods and he lays his head next to your shoulder.
“The weapons will help us fight the zombies even stronger zombies. But we have to find our friends” Leon said.
“I know. But this time we won't get separated from each other, there nights I couldn't sleep because i was thinking about you” You said.
“I couldn't sleep, either. Let's rest” Leon said.
“Yeah,” You said.
You fell asleep first and he stared at you. He doesn't say anything and he gently touches your chest and he kisses your forehead.
“Nothing will keep us apart, Y/N I promise” Leon whispered.
He closed his eyes And he went to sleep. In your sleep, you move closer to him and he has his arm around your body.
———
The next day… you and Leon woke up early. You and Leon started to get ready and ate some food. You start to pack some items inside the backpacks while Leon checks out the weapons.
“Babe, we can't take too many guns,” You said.
“I know, we have to travel light. I wish we could take it all but we definitely have to take the knives for backup” Leon said.
“Good idea. But where are we going?” You asked.
“Good question. We didn't get a chance to talk about where we would meet up or they went before finding me” Leon said.
“Do you have a plan?” You asked.
You and Leon stare at the map.
“I think we should go to the city. Chris, used to live there” Leon said.
“Let's go there then,” You said.
“Alright. Are you ready?” Leon said.
“No, but I’m with you now so I know we will be okay,” You said.
He grabbed your hand and you feel safe with him. You and Leon leave the base through the back where there are fewer zombies.

ayooo I made this like a year ago and posted it on my original blog, I thought I'd post it here cause why not lol?

I've loved the RE games for a while now, but recently I realized I didn't know the lore that well.
Now, there are plenty of thorough videos online that lay out the lore of the games, but my silly little brain has a hard time following along. So I wrote it out in a way that made sense to me.
I haven't played all the games myself, so if something is incorrect, I’m sorry. Additionally, I left some content out to keep it as simple and comprehensible as possible!

RESIDENT EVIL CHARACTER LINK
Mother Miranda lives in an Eastern European village. In 1919 the Spanish flu claimed her only daughter. In a state of depression, Mother Miranda finds herself deep within a cave network underneath her village, hoping to find the sweet relief of death and be with her daughter once more. This is where she discovers a unique mold (a form of mutamycete) with regenerative properties. She spends the next several decades researching the mold in hopes of using it to reincarnate her daughter.
In 1951, a British medical student by the name of Oswald E. Spencer discovered Mother Miranda’s research. He basically becomes very interested in the human genome and goes off on his own to run his own experiments for the next few years.
In 1962 Oswald E. Spencer hired a man named George Trevor to build him a mansion in the Arklay Mountains, so he could continue his research privately.
Later, Oswald E. Spencer joins forces with two other men, James Marcus, and Edward Ashferd. The trio sets off to Africa to find a unique flower, the  “Stairway to the Sun”, which has regenerative properties. Using this flower, the men synthesize the Progenitor Virus.
In 1968, Oswald E. Spencer, James Marcus, and Edward Ashferd, co-founded Umbrella Corp.  This “pharmaceutical company” was really just a front for their viral bioweapon research.
Tumblr media
Above is the Umbrella Corp. Emblem
Shortly afterward, Edward Ashferd gets frustrated with his two partners and moves to Antarctica where he starts up his own Umbrella research labs. Oswald E. Spencer dislikes this and has Edward Ashferd injected with the Progenitor Virus, killing him.
Oswald E. Spencer is working on Project W.  where he kidnaps children and injects them with the Progenitor Virus, in hopes of building a race of loyal superhuman soldiers. All of the test subjects die, except for one, Albert Wesker.
In 1987, James Marcus and his assistants William Birkin and Albert Wesker created the T-Virus, by combining leech DNA with the Progenitor Virus. Shortly after this, the facility gets shut down(?), and the trio moves back to Oswald E. Spencer’s lab in the Arklay Mountains.
Back at the Arklay Umbrella lab, William Birkin discovers that ~10% of the population is naturally immune to their viruses. So he created Bio Organic Weapons (BOW’s). His work with BOW’s is refined into making specific BOW’s, aka Tyrants.
(Late 1998) James Marcus is working with his own strand of the T-Virus, and he creates his “Queen Leech”. Oswald E. Spencer dislikes this as well and tries to kill James Marcus. This attempt fails. James Marcus’s body along with his Queen Leech are dumped into a sewage area, where the Queen Leech eats James Marcus’s body, and absorbs his consciousness. This sort of reincarnates James Marcus.
In the 1990s, Umbrella expanded, and Oswald E. Spencer commissioned a new lab facility to be constructed underneath Raccoon City.
(William Birkin created the G-Virus around this time.)
In 1996, S.T.A.R.S (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) was created. It is technically under Raccoons Cities jurisdiction, but it's privately funded by Umbrella Corp. so they can have control over it. Albert Wesker gets assigned as Captain to the S.T.A.R.S Alpha team.
In 1998, Rebbeca Chambers stumbled across a train wreck filled with James Marcus’s infected leeches. She ends up finding, and killing the Queen Leech (remember James Marcus’s consciousness is intertwined with the Queen Leech).
(Still 1988) S.T.A.R.S Alpha team is on a mission. Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield discover Umbrella Corp.’s experiments and learn that Albert Wesker is a traitor. They fight, and Albert Wesker injects himself with the T-Virus, and escapes.
Raccoon City’s water supply is contaminated with the T-Virus. This infects the whole town and turns them into zombies. Umbrella uses this situation to test out their new BOW, a Tyrant named Nemesis.  Nemesis targets Jill Valentine. With the help of Carlos Oliviera, they escape the Tyrant and Raccoon City before it is nuked so the virus doesn't spread.
At the same time, there's a girl by the name of Claire, she's searching for her brother Chris Redfield in Raccoon City.
(All you need to know is through RE from here on out, she keeps searching for her brother and getting into dangerous situations where different viruses are present.)
Anyway, Claire meets Leon Kennedy, and they go to the Raccoon City Police Department (RPD). The two get separated and Leon Kennedy finds the G-Virus. He meets a woman named Ada Wong, an independent mercenary who's trying to get her hands on the  G-Virus, and sell it. (She actually does this). Claire and Leon Kennedy escape Raccoon City through a sewer before it’s nuked.
It's now 2004, Leon Kennedy was deployed to a village in Spain to rescue the U.S. president's daughter who was kidnapped. The village is plagued by the Las Plagas Virus, which has something to do with the Los Illuminados Cult. Ada Wong shows up and grabs a sample of the Las Plagas Virus to sell to Albert Wesker. Leon Kennedy saves the president's daughter, defeats the Los Illuminados, and escapes the island.
(2006) Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine find Oswald E. Spencer’s location, and they go to his house. When they get there, they find Albert Wesker had just killed Oswald E. Spencer. (This is cause Wesker found out he was the product of Project W).
Basically, Albert Wesker kidnaps Jill Valentine for a while and uses her as his test subject/mind-controlled dummy. (Eventually, she breaks free from Albert Wesker's mind-control)
Around this time, the B.S.A.A. was created. The Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance. (This is because bioweapons are being made worldwide)

Around this time, the B.S.A.A. was created. The Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance. (This is because bioweapons are being made worldwide)
Tumblr media
Albert Wesker moves on and tries to make West Africa a diseased wasteland. Chris Redfield and the B.S.A.A. team up to go to stop him. This is where they discover the Uroboros Virus. (This is an RNA virus in the Progenitor family. It was engineered by Albert Wesker). Chris Redfeild and the B.S.A.A successfully kills Albert Wesker.
In 2012, there was this thing called the C-Virus, which can mutate bodies while keeping their consciousness. For a while Umbrella Corp.'s was under some heat, but they revived themselves as “Neo Umbrella”. Neo Umbrella unleashes the C-Virus (in China?) and basically, Raccoon City happens all over again.
There is this crime syndicate called “The Connections”. They strike a deal with Mother Miranda, she gives them her mold and the DNA of her daughter hoping they would help revive her. The Connections use the E-Type Mutamycete mold to create bioweapons out of children.  This gave birth to the genetically modified human Eveline, who had mind-controlling and regenerative powers. The B.S.A.A. caught wind of this, and The Connections loaded a research team with Eveline onto a cargo boat to ship her somewhere safer. Eveline infected the whole cargo ship with her mold, killing everyone except Eveline's direct handler, a researcher named Mia Winters.
The cargo ship wreckage landed somewhere along the coast of Dulvey Parish, Louisiana. An old man by the name of Jack Baker found Eveline and Mia Winters and took the two back to his house to take care of them. Eveline infected the whole Baker family.
Mia Winters sends an email to her husband, Ethan Winters. He drives to Dulvey Parish, Louisiana to save his wife. Unfortunately, Ethan Winters gets killed pretty quickly, but he gets revived by Eve’s mold. Eveline turns into a big mold monster, and Ethan Winters does his best to fight it, until Chris Redfield comes in and saves the day.
Fast forward a few years, Ethan and Mia Winters have a baby named Rosemary (Rose) Winters. Somehow Mother Miranda finds out about this and decides that Rose Winters is the perfect candidate to use to resurrect her daughter. So Mother Miranda kidnaps Rose and Mia Winters and brings them back to her old Eastern European village. Ethan Winters goes to save his family. He fights a bunch of Mother Miranda's experiments (i.e. Lady Dimitrescu, Heisenberg, Lycans, Dona Beneviento, etc...), and eventually, Chris Redfield comes to try and save the day again. But Ethan Winters sacrifices himself for his family and blows up the whole village.
Fast forward again, it's 2037. Rose Winters is a teenager now, and she has Mutamycete mold powers. She hates that she's different, and wants to get rid of them. She is told if she enters the Mutamycete mold’s consciousness, she might find a way to rid herself of these powers. Now everyone who's ever been in contact with the Mutamycete mold is trapped/a part of the mold consciousness. Inside, she fights off Mother Miranda one last time, meets her father, and then decides to keep her mold powers.

Again, I did leave some games/content out, but I hope this was enjoyable and/or useful and easy enough to understand!

Day 4: Rain/Umbrella
For: @dbshipsweek
Pair: Truten
Rated: Teen+
***
Goten and Trunks have shared many things throughout their lifelong history.
Toys and weapons, friends and enemies, laughter and anger… even the same body. An umbrella had not been one of them until today.
“Gotta protect your stupidly expensive suit.”
Goten, looking ridiculous (and adorable) in a hooded, green waterproof poncho, dutifully holds an umbrella up and over Trunks’s head, exceeding his role as a newly-hired executive assistant to an almost annoying degree.
“I'll just buy another if it gets ruined,” Trunks says, his blasé tone undermining his appreciation of the chivalrous gesture.
They were coming back from their lunch break at their favorite spot when the trickle happened, lasting just long enough for Goten to pull out his rain gear before the rain really started hitting.
His best friend, now turned employee, had warned Trunks about the likelihood of rain, despite the skies being blue and the clouds mostly white moments before the downpour.
His friend has always had a stronger sense of intuition when it comes to all things living and natural. A keen insight of people and animals, of monsters, gods, and aliens. Of nature and, of course, the weather.
Meanwhile Trunks has, much like his grandfather, relied more on strategy rather than instinct; on finding ways to succeed in both a battle and in business through methodical means over “gut feelings.”
Not that either one of the men is devoid of one quality to make room for the other; Goten doesn't jump into a fight without first assessing the risks and advantages he has over an opponent, and Trunks can read energy –or ki – without needing to hone in using his elevated Saiyan senses.
They work well together because of their innate, complementary qualities, combining forces to make an almost perfectly balanced whole. His Yin to his Yan. His other half.
Trunks fists a hand above Goten’s grip on the metallic stem of the umbrella, wrapping the other arm to pull Goten into and under the dome along with him, the patter of raindrops drowning the heartbeat– Goten’s heartbeat– drumming in his ears as they walk shoulder-to-shoulder to the Capsule Corp building looming just up the street.
They've been physically close numerous times. Besides joining bodies to become one single entity, they've fallen asleep on the couch together, have wrestled on the ground, bathed fully naked in hot springs. But the closeness that was once normal and regular between them has somewhat recently transformed into something that feels more…intimate, more personal. A layer of intimacy that isn't quite tangible, defined. Beyond physical.
“There's no point in us both being under an umbrella if you’re gonna get wet,” Goten says. Despite his words, he doesn't make an effort to separate from Trunks, his wet poncho cold against the blended material of Trunks's designer suit.
The two men shake off what wetness remains stuck to them and dry off with towels handed to them by an intern, making their way up the polished steps and matching their pace with one another, appearing more as business partners than an employer and employee. In a way, they are, though their professional relation is only one aspect of a deeper, infinitely more meaningful bond.
Goten runs his fingers along his dark, damp hair one more time, a simple act of grooming that has Trunks staring in, he realizes, appraisal. He stares even longer as he takes in how Goten's business-appropriate hairstyle has resumed to its natural, tousled and spiky state. Trunks prefers this hairstyle on him, however, in a professional setting, it unfortunately won't do.
Without further thought, Trunks whips out a comb and restyles Goten's thick, incongruously silky spikes to something like a business-casual pompadour, setting it with a salon-grade hair pomade he keeps in his briefcase in case of, well, rainy days.
“Lookin’ sharp,” Trunks declares, “You're welcome.”
With a roll of his eyes, Goten swipes the comb from his hand and does the same for him, tidying up his parted, indigo hair. Trunks suppresses the urge to contently sigh at the sensation of his scalp being scraped by the teeth of the comb, wishing for an unbidden, fleeting moment that it was Goten's fingers running through his hair instead.
Lately, he's been craving frequent physical contact from another person, and Trunks thought he could satiate that need by getting a girlfriend he hardly likes but is extremely attracted to. Nice, but ultimately unfulfilling.
What he really wants is not something he's ready to say out loud, to accept fully and openly, outb of fear it may ruin what they do have, what has always been and has always worked. Over and over he has rationalized that what he really wants will imbalance and disrupt their connection, will create an upheaval he's not prepared to fix and resolve the way he fixes and resolves problems that arise in the company, in battle and in lesser personal relationships.
“Your hair is getting long. You should let it grow,” Goten says, evaluating his work with a ponderous expression.
He hasn't given too much thought about his hair. Too busy, all the time. If not with work, with other thoughts.
“So schedule me an appointment with Ferrer.” Ferrer is the only hairstylist he trusts. Ferrer also hits on him on every visit, but Trunks doesn't mind because Ferrer is also super hot, though their flirtatious exchanges have never crossed professional boundaries. As it should be.
“You got it, boss,” Goten says with a salute, a minimal amount of sarcasm behind his words and gesture.
Sometimes it feels weird that he's technically his childhood best friend's boss, but as he often is in other aspects in life, Goten isn't bothered by being second rank to anyone. When your father is the savior of the world, of multiple friggin universes even, and your older brother saved the Earth once when he'd been almost a decade old, then you kind of learn to accept you're not the best of the best, but you're still pretty great on your own. Goten is more than great, really.
Before they separate to go to their individual offices, Trunks pauses.
“And schedule a training sesh with you for later today.”
The smile that tends to be perpetually stamped on Goten's boyish face widens, bright as the sun parting the clouds.
“Where at? The gravity chamber? A  barren, neighboring planet?”
“Have your dad take us somewhere unexpected. Somewhere it's not raining.”
Though, Trunks thinks, it could be fun sparring in the rain, their clothes wet and clinging to their bodies, the wet sound of flesh hitting flesh, Goten panting and soaking… removing his top to unburden himself from its weight, his bare chest heaving as rain mixes with his sweat, slickening his taut skin…
“He's gonna want to spar with us and end up kicking our asses as per usual.”
“I'll ask Bulla to ask my dad to keep him busy.” Vegeta only ever listens to his little princess, and occasionally but not always, Bulma, his wife and Trunks's mom.
“It's a date,” Goten says and, upon catching on to how that could be misinterpreted as something unprofessional to the colleagues around them, he quickly adds, “You know what I mean.”
‘It's a date’ … Well, it could be, if Trunks stopped being a coward and closed in on the tension that's been brewing between them in the last couple of years since entering adulthood.
“Actually, Goten,” Trunks calls out from behind him, prompting Goten to halfway turn mid-walk. “Let's train at my place.”
In his family's vast sprawling land. In the rain.

“Love will have its sacrifices, and none without blood."
"Enchanté, Dante~ Call me Carmilla; just call me that for now, please."
Tumblr media
Name: Carmilla Literary Inspiration: Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu Color: #9b1e1c, Lunatic Velvet Gender: Female, she/her Age: 29 Height: 6'2 Particulars: Dramatic, dark sense of humor, untrusting of men Emoji: 🩸 Weapon: BLOOD MOON, Bladed umbrella Base E.G.O: Illuminated Allure
ID examples: G Corp. Manager Corporal, Seven Association East Section 4 Director, District 20 Yurodivy, Lobotomy E.G.O:: Standard Training E.G.O EGO examples: Electric Screaming, Sunshower, Feather of Honor
Alright, this is the big one.
Carmilla was the first Sinner I REALLY dove into figuring out, as in I actually read her source material and read up on the themes and such. Y'see, dear reader, once upon a time I, forgetting said source material, set Carmilla up with... Yi Sang.
YI SANG.
WITH THE FAMED. LESBIAN. VAMPIRE.
WHAT WAS I THINKING.
One RIGHTFULLY deserved flaming later, and I have since resolved to undo my accidental lesbian erasure to the utmost extent. She's back to her roots now. ...Except she kinda isn't.
I can explain.
So, first off, that's not even Carmilla. It's a pseudonym being used by LAURA after her Second Kindred girlfriend Mircalla fainted from shock during being tortured by the Fanghunt Office. One J Corp lock later and voila, now she's got a dormant girlfriend stuck in her body. She's using the Carmilla moniker as a means to avoid detection, though in the interest of being "one with her lover" like Mircalla said she wanted, she still acts like a Bloodfiend as an elaborate ruse. She's also now a STAUNCH disliker of anything with a schlong; blame one too many REALLY messy relationships before Mircalla hit her with the lesbian awakening beam. Her Canto would involve Carmie actually running away from the LCB after a misunderstanding with, you guessed it, Yi Sang, over the latter's gender (I'll elaborate on that one of these days but long story short, egg), hiding out in some swank masquerade ball, coincidentally running into her family who thought for years she was DEAD, Mircalla reawakening, and Carmilla coming to terms with who she really is and how to move forward with her life.
Oh, and she has an Irish accent. Because feck you, that's why.

Higurashi: Massacre Chapter 21
A big amount of info dumping this chapter.
So long story short, there's a local disease in Hinamizawa that can cause people to suffer paranoia and persecution complex that eventually drives them to suicide by clawing out their throats.
It's localized to the village and everyone in it likely has it.
I would assume the disease prefers certain particular climates, hence why leaving the village can lead to lower-level symptoms (Keiichi likely had Type-3 at the start of Abducted by Demons since he was hearing Hanyu speak), but I doubt the Queen Carrier part of it.
In Cotton Drifting and Eye Opening, Rika was dead for at least a week before those stories concluded and nothing of note happened within the village.
If there is some connection to the Furudes and the disease, I'd assume it has more to do with Hanyu than anything like a Queen Carrier.
And Rika also revealed "Tokyo's" involvement in all this. At this point, she's summarizing most of the things we already know. "Tokyo" is likely made up of several influential figures within Japan's political and economic circles.
And they were indeed looking into using Hinamizawa Syndrome as a bio weapon. Why? That never ends well! Have they never heard of Resident Evil!? (The answer is no because that came out in 1996). I swear, if it turns out "Tokyo" is the Japanese branch of Umbrella Corp...
But yeah, Rika knows everything. She knows Takano, Tomitake, and Okonogi's true roles in all this as well as Okonogi's involvement in the kidnapping in Time Killing.
Despite how unbelievable this is, Keiichi is holding to his promise to never doubt his friends again. I think Keiichi and the others are less concerned about whether Rika's fears are valid and more about her fears themselves. Whether or not anything is true, it doesn't take away from how Rika is scared for her life and is willing to tell them her concerns.
And now Rika has decided to bring Ooishi fully in on the truth as well. Trusting in him has paid Rika dividends throughout this arc and he just provided an additional advance payment by revealing the burnt corpse is not Takano's, confirming she is still alive.
I had a little chuckle at this shot.
Tumblr media
It's just a strange site mixing Ooishi into the friend group.
You know who should have been part of this? Akasaka. But no, Akasaka is useless.
The Wild Dogs just slap Okonogi's name onto every one of their fake companies. We had Okonogi landscaping and now Okonogi Electric.
What was Ooishi's plan when he confronted those men? He's demonstrated that he can't ignore when he thinks someone is up to something so I can understand him wanting to investigate why some men are poking around a phone line.
But confronting them directly and calling them out on their lies can only end in so many ways. He's used intimation throughout the series, but did he genuinely think he could intimidate several men by himself and if they were in fact up to some illegal activity that they wouldn't potentially attack him?
Tumblr media
At least now we might have an idea what happened to him and Kumogai in Curse Killing. In that arc, Ooishi wasn't dealing with any other investigations or potential leads on Takano and Tomitake's deaths so the only leads he might have would be Takano and Tomitake's corpses. He may not necessarily have encountered the Wild Dogs while they were tampering with the phone lines, but they may have killed him because he had discovered the burnt corpse wasn't Takano.

Something To Come Home For
Oneshot
Featuring : Chris Redfield X F! Reader.
Masterlist.
Tumblr media
The sun was setting over the dense, shadowy forests of a remote European village. You had insisted on joining Chris Redfield on this mission, despite his protests. As a skilled marksman and strategist yourself, you were no stranger to danger, but Chris always worried about you—especially when it came to the bio-organic weapons Umbrella Corp left behind.
The two of you moved through the narrow, cobblestone streets, Chris staying close, his M92F handgun raised as he scanned for any signs of Ganados. His hulking frame was tense, protective instincts in overdrive. Every so often, he glanced back to make sure you were okay, his green eyes softening as they met yours.
“You know,” you teased, stepping closer to him, “you don’t have to check on me every five seconds. I can handle myself, Redfield.”
Chris huffed a small laugh, though his gaze didn’t lose its sharpness. “Yeah, I know you can. Doesn’t mean I’m not going to keep you safe.”
A rustling sound from the shadows made both of you snap to attention. Chris immediately stepped in front of you, shielding you with his broad shoulders. “Stay behind me,” he ordered firmly.
“Chris, I—”
“Stay. Behind. Me,” he repeated, his voice low but protective, the tone that always made your heart skip. You couldn’t help but smirk a little—he was nothing if not stubborn when it came to you.
The sound grew louder, and a villager-turned-Ganado lunged from the shadows, swinging a rusted axe. Chris reacted instantly, shoving you gently but firmly behind a stone wall before firing off two precise shots. The creature fell to the ground, motionless.
As the silence returned, Chris turned to you, his brows furrowed. “Are you okay? Did it touch you?”
You rolled your eyes but smiled. “Chris, I’m fine. It didn’t even get close.”
Still, he reached out, cupping your face gently with his calloused hand, his thumb brushing your cheek. “I don’t care how skilled you are; I can’t lose you. You’re my world, and I need you to know that.”
Your heart melted at his sincerity, and you leaned into his touch. “I know, Chris. And you’re mine. But you’re not getting rid of me that easily—I’m with you to the end.”
His lips curved into a soft, smitten smile, and for a moment, the chaos of the mission seemed to fade away. “Damn, I love you,” he murmured before pulling you into a quick but fervent kiss, his gun still clutched in his other hand.
“Alright,” he said after a moment, his protective demeanor snapping back into place. “Let’s finish this so I can get you somewhere safe.”
You nodded, taking your position at his side. Together, you moved forward, knowing that as long as you had each other, there was no mission too dangerous to face.
_____________________________________
Two years had passed since that harrowing mission in the European village. Life had been quieter, though far from ordinary. You and Chris had spent the time together as a team, whether on missions or finding rare moments of peace in between. But Chris had been acting a little strange lately—distracted, nervous even. You couldn’t quite put your finger on why.
It was a chilly evening, and the two of you had gone for a walk near the lake by your shared cabin. The water shimmered under the moonlight, and the cool breeze carried the faint scent of pine. Chris had insisted on this walk, and though you didn’t mind the company, you noticed how fidgety he seemed, his hands occasionally brushing against his pocket before retreating.
“You okay, Chris?” you asked, bumping your shoulder into his. “You’ve been acting weird all day.”
Chris chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. “Weird? Nah, I’m just—uh—thinking.”
You raised a skeptical brow. “Thinking? About what? Another mission?”
He stopped walking and turned to face you, his broad frame silhouetted by the moonlight. For a moment, he just looked at you, his green eyes filled with an emotion you couldn’t quite place. Then, to your complete surprise, he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a small velvet box.
Your breath caught as he dropped to one knee, the sight of the fearless Chris Redfield looking uncharacteristically vulnerable making your heart race.
“I’ve been through a lot in my life,” he began, his voice steady despite the emotion in his eyes. “Fought things I didn’t think I’d survive. But through all of that, I’ve never felt stronger or more certain than when I’m with you. You’ve been my partner, my anchor, my everything. And I don’t want to spend another day without knowing you’re mine forever.”
He opened the box, revealing a stunning diamond ring, simple yet elegant. “Will you marry me?”
Tears welled up in your eyes as you stared at him, overwhelmed by the love and sincerity in his words. You didn’t even realize you were nodding until he let out a relieved laugh and slipped the ring onto your finger. It fit perfectly.
“Yes,” you finally managed, your voice trembling. “Yes, Chris, a million times yes.”
Chris stood, pulling you into his arms and holding you tightly, as if he never wanted to let go. He kissed you deeply, his lips warm and soft against yours, and you could feel him smiling through the kiss.
“You’ve made me the happiest man alive,” he whispered, his forehead resting against yours.
“And you’ve made me the luckiest woman,” you replied, your voice thick with emotion.
Hand in hand, the two of you continued your walk, now as an engaged couple, the future bright and full of promise. For once, the world seemed peaceful, and as long as you had Chris by your side, you knew you could face anything together.
______________________________________
It was a quiet evening at home. The smell of Chris’s favorite steak dinner lingered in the air as he relaxed on the couch, flipping through an old mission file. He always had a hard time fully unwinding, but you had something tonight that would change everything.
You stood in the kitchen, heart pounding as you fiddled with the small gift box in your hands. Inside was a tiny onesie with the words “Daddy’s Little Hero” printed across the front. After weeks of keeping the secret, tonight was the night you would finally tell him.
Taking a deep breath, you walked into the living room, trying to keep your excitement contained. Chris looked up immediately, his sharp green eyes softening when they landed on you. He always had that effect, as if his whole world revolved around you.
“Hey, sweetheart,” he said, setting the file aside and sitting up straighter. “What’s up? You’ve got that look—like you’re up to something.”
You smiled nervously and handed him the small box. “I have something for you. Open it.”
He arched an eyebrow, curiosity piqued, but took the box from your hands. With careful fingers, he untied the ribbon and flipped open the lid. The moment his eyes landed on the onesie, his expression froze, and for a split second, he seemed almost confused.
“What is this?” he asked, holding it up. Then his eyes widened, realization dawning on him like a sunrise. “Wait—are you saying—?”
“I’m pregnant, Chris,” you said softly, tears brimming in your eyes. “We’re going to have a baby.”
For a moment, Chris just stared at you, his mouth slightly open as if he couldn’t quite believe it. Then, with a sudden burst of energy, he was on his feet, pulling you into his arms and lifting you off the ground. He spun you around, his deep laugh echoing through the room.
“We’re having a baby!” he exclaimed, his voice filled with awe and joy. Setting you down gently, he cupped your face in his hands, his green eyes shining with unshed tears. “You’re serious? This is real?”
“It’s real,” you assured him, your hands resting on his chest. “You’re going to be a dad.”
Chris let out a shaky breath, pressing his forehead against yours. “I don’t know what I did to deserve you or this, but I promise you—I’ll protect both of you with everything I’ve got.”
You smiled through your tears, leaning into his touch. “I know you will, Chris. You already do.”
The rest of the evening was spent talking about the future, Chris’s excitement only growing with each passing moment. He kept glancing at you, his hand resting protectively over your stomach as if he couldn’t wait to meet the little life you were carrying.
And in that moment, you knew there was no one better to share this journey with than Chris Redfield—the man who loved you fiercely, protected you without question, and now, was about to become the father of your child.
______________________________________
The years had only deepened the bond between you and Chris Redfield. Life as his wife wasn’t easy; being married to a BSAA operative meant long nights, dangerous missions, and moments where you weren’t sure if he’d make it back home. But Chris always did—because he had you to come home to.
One crisp evening, the two of you were tucked away in your shared home, far from the chaos of bioterrorism and Umbrella’s nightmares. The rustic cabin was nestled deep in the mountains, a place Chris had insisted on for its security and serenity. Despite his fierce exterior, he had a soft spot for quiet, peaceful moments—especially when they involved you.
Chris had just returned from a long mission. You were seated on the plush couch in the living room, flipping through a book, when the door creaked open. Instinctively, you looked up, your heart skipping a beat at the sight of him. He was still in his tactical gear, his hair slightly tousled, and the fatigue in his eyes was replaced by relief when they landed on you.
“You’re home,” you said softly, setting the book down and standing.
Chris dropped his duffel bag by the door, his lips curling into a tired but genuine smile. “Yeah, I am. And I’m not going anywhere for a while.”
You crossed the room quickly, wrapping your arms around him as he pulled you into a tight embrace. His strong arms encased you, his familiar scent of leather and pine filling your senses. “I missed you,” you murmured against his chest.
“I missed you more,” he said, his voice gruff but tender. He pulled back just enough to cup your face, studying you as though he hadn’t seen you in years. “God, you’re beautiful. How did I get this lucky?”
You laughed softly. “I think I’m the lucky one, Mr. Redfield.”
“Mrs. Redfield,” he corrected with a smirk, leaning down to press a lingering kiss to your lips. When he pulled back, his forehead rested against yours. “I don’t say it enough, but you’re my rock. Every time I’m out there, you’re all I think about. You keep me grounded.”
Tears welled in your eyes, but you quickly blinked them away. “You’re my everything too, Chris.”
The moment was interrupted by the pitter-patter of small feet. Your daughter, no older than four, came barreling into the room, her tiny arms outstretched. “Daddy!”
Chris’s face lit up as he crouched down, catching her in his arms. He hoisted her up effortlessly, pressing a kiss to her cheek. “Hey, princess! Were you good for Mommy?”
“She was an angel,” you said, smiling at the sight of the two of them.
Chris grinned, holding her close as he glanced at you. “Just like her mom.”
The three of you settled on the couch, Chris’s arm around you while your daughter snuggled in his lap. The world outside might have been chaotic, but in that moment, you had everything you needed:
love, family, and the man who’d do anything to keep you safe.
Because he always had Something to come home for...

Generalized theory about re9
I'm looking forward to re9 as much as you are, and I have a lot of logical conclusions about what kind of story we'll be greeted with in it. But Capcom is good at surprising people, so my thoughts on this installment may just be a grain of sand in the sea or a half-truth.
In this theory I will give my view on the plot of re9 and give my arguments, so sit back, there will be lots of facts and pictures!
Tumblr media
Let's start with the fact that back in 2016 Capcom threw in an interesting plot detail for us called Umbrella Corps. I can't call it a real game, it's more of a story DLC for all games.
Tumblr media
His phrases: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe7LEaA7em8
Albert Wesker is also voiced by Douglas. So why would Capcom take on such a recognizable voice? Why voice two characters at once with that voice? It can only make sense if the Executive turns out to be a suddenly alive Wesker. If you listen to his intonation, it's safe to say it's him, or his clone or twin brother.
We now know that Blue Umbrella are no longer the honest people they try to make themselves out to be in re7. In the "Not a Hero" DLC, Chris says he doesn't trust them. He has good intuition. It is in re7 that it is revealed that the Blue Umbrella are using Wesker's designs to create weapons effective against biological threats.
Chris's trust in the BSAA dwindles to the point where he creates his own small unit, the "Hound Wolf Squad". Once again, his intuition doesn't let him down. At the end of the re8 storyline, Chris discovers an unpleasant truth... The soldiers the BSAA sent into "village" to contain the Mold have turned out to be biological weapons. They are creatures completely indistinguishable from humans, and look just like Chris. They have his face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But why? Why Chris?
To answer that question, we need to go back to the Umbrella Corps storyline.
The mercenaries in the Corps have been collecting bioweapons samples for the mysterious Executive with Wesker's voice. The Corps is owned by Blue Umbrella, who cooperate with the BSAA and supply them with their weapons and medical supplies. It's safe to say that the Corps is also cooperating with the BSAA. These three organizations have created a new bioweapon indistinguishable from a normal human being using Chris' DNA. Hero DNA.
Why would the Executive want a bioweapon with Chris's appearance? Chris to Wesker has always been someone he considered his equal. Chris is "one of his best men." Who else but him would have thought of that? Who else besides him will speak in the voice of Douglas and hide from people? All of these details blatantly hint that Wesker is alive and involved.
Another interesting detail that also hints that Wesker is alive. Yes, it's my old theory. In re8 on the Heisenberg board this photo can be found. I originally thought it was his own photo, however why would he want his own photo on his own information board? The person in the photo is clearly older and has different facial features.
Tumblr media
The red line from this photo leads to Chris. Heisenberg sees a connection between the two men, but who is this mysterious old man?
Tumblr media
It's Wesker.
I'm 98% sure of it. Look closely at the points of interest: facial features, the shape of the nose, the distance from the nose to the mouth, the shape of the face, and the shape of the chin. Heisenberg knows from somewhere that Wesker is alive. But judging by the insignificance of this photo on the board, he doesn't think it's true or anything important.
Tumblr media
Putting all this information together, we get a picture of a possible re9 plot:
Wesker is again the antagonist\anti-villain, but perhaps not the main one. He operates from the shadows, running Umbrella Corps. He's obsessed with Chris and hides his existence from everyone, killing those who try to figure out his identity. Perhaps in the plot, Chris will meet an unnamed 3A-7 who is connected to the conspiracy between Blue Umbrella and BSAA. A major upheaval of all these organizations is coming and unexpected secrets will be revealed. Perhaps Ada Wong will be involved, as her concept is in re8 and the idea could still be realized. Wesker must have become very weak after the events of re5, or something happened to his body, which is why he can no longer maintain his standard image and his hair grows a lot. The plot will not be tied to defeating him, because he is not the main evil in this story.
Tumblr media
If BSAA has a big conflict brewing, then Jill will be affected. She could team up with Chris again, or she could get her own unique storyline (or DLC). Also, I think Claire might help her brother in some way by using TerraSave's resources, because that organization fights for human rights and in this case, Chris' rights were violated when his DNA was stolen. Looking back at this picture of the story, I'm starting to believe the rumors that the game will get very large scale and maybe even get an open world.
Tumblr media
However, all of this can be forgotten and discarded at Capcom's will. As logical as my re9 story picture looks, the writers may do something completely different that will surprise us all. Would I be upset if they scrapped such a logical and cool plot? A little bit. I'll be interested in playing and seeing what OTHER plot they come up with. I'll still be interested in what Capcom will try to surprise us with. Re9 is definitely a very important game for the whole story, because a lot of things will be dotted here. And even if they end up scrapping the idea of a living Wesker, it won't make re9 a bad game in my eyes. I will love these theories and the various AU's with alive Wesker even after the release of this game.
If you're wondering how Wesker survived in volcano, then I suggest you read my theory, in which I delved into this issue so much that I figured out the melting point of his clothes. It's here. Also in this theory there is a detailed analysis of the bioweapon-Chris, possible ways to understand the plot of Umbrella Corps and etc.
Thanks for reading!

god sunshower heathcliff is such an abomination design-wise. nothing works for him. he's meant to be a negative-sanity unit that utilizes sinking to stay at low sanity, but EVERYTHING gives a fuckton of sanity to him. winning clashes, killing enemies, even other sinners killing enemies boosts his sanity.
Tumblr media
he's meant to use s3 and his counter skill to decrease his sanity but he literally has 3-5 speed, which is terribly slow. so he can't redirect attacks to himself. also, decreasing sanity by losing clashes is incredibly unreliable, especially considering that negative-power coins get stronger as it loses more clashes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also he's terrible at clashing well. sure, i just said that he'll still barely win a clash, but only with 1-2 coins left. his s1 has a max power of 6 and his s2 a max power of 10. its fine for doing damage (if you can roll tails consistently anyway, which is a pipe dream) but clashing? awful.
n corp sinclair at least has consistent sp loss on skill use + a passive that reduces sp gain. a lot of sp loss at that -- unless you can stack s3s, youre not going to be losing very much sp at all considering 1 s3 only gives 6 sinking with 3 count, which is 18 sp loss total (and only if you have his passive up or can get hit). meanwhile, n corp sinclair s3 immediately reduces sp by 15, s1 reduces sp by 7, and s2 reduces sp by 10. no setup necessary.
you could argue that you're supposed to use ego on heathcliff to quickly reduce sp but like. if you're not playing mirror dungeon where you can stockpile ego resources, it's kind of wasteful. for the purpose of reducing sp, you can't use ego to win clashes or kill targets because both of those grant sp. so you have to use it in a way that'll still deal damage but not to where it'll kill them. which isn't terribly hard but still, the ego could be used more efficiently.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
considering his high hp and defense level, his low speed, his passive that gives protection based on sinking, and his dogshit clash power, i realize now that he's supposed to be a tank.
...so the next question is "Why the hell did they not give his skills 'gain aggro on use'?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
k corp hong lu and n corp meursault, who are also tank ids, both get additional aggro from their skills. so why didn't sunshower heathcliff get the same effects? it'd certainly help with using his counter skill, proccing sinking on himself, and activating his passive. did they just forget about him being a tank?
tl;dr: so much is wrong with how sunshower heathcliff's kit is designed and it fucking sucks because ive always liked umbrellas and seeing an ID use an umbrella as a weapon is so fucking cool to me. but he's dogshit. so he doesn't do shit with it

can you post more about your ocs. so i can know about them. i love learning about peoples brain creatures
So I haven't posted about my OCs in way too long because I normally don't post about them without having new art, but since moving from SFM to Blender, I got caught up in porting a bunch of models for others to use rather than actually making models for my OCs. I'll get back to it eventually.
Anyway, all my OCs so far are Mass Effect OCs. They all have some kinda connection to one another and there's a lot of text that could be written on their backstory. I refer them under the umbrella of "Starchaser" as that's the sort of Title I have for them. Though the main body takes place 5 years after ME3, many of these characters have connections that go back before then.
Tumblr media
1.Eris'Takara vas Arcadia nar Shellen
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Eris is the closest thing to a "main character" that the crew has, even if she may not appear it. She's a very positive and optimistic person, often to a fault in that she can be too forgiving and taken advantage of. Curiosity often gets the better of her, as she has a need to understand how things work, and will sometimes drop what she's doing to try and figure something new out. She tinkers and experiments, and her workspace is cluttered and filled with parts of unfinished projects (yet she somehow knows exactly where everything is). She has very positive feelings towards the Geth and was firmly in the camp of seeking diplomatic solutions during the Reaper war.
Like many Quarians, she's got a case of touch-starvation and tends to be very physical when interacting with people she knows. She's also very empathetic to others - her mood is heavily affected by the moods of those around her. If someone else is visibly sad, it can upset her and she will go out of her way to try and help, even if unsucessful.
She can struggle under responsibility, and too much pressure can cause her to panic, even avoiding hard truths and believing lies. This, with her impulsive behavior, has sometimes led her to make decisions that took her away from friends/family.
Born on the fleet, she took after her father who was one of the many engineers keeping the Shellen liveship running. On her pilgrimage, she found herself with a belt-mining expedition run by a large corp. Her skills were recognized, and she was moved to their headquarters on Illium to work on prototyping stuff. There, she reunited with her childhood friend Sett and worked together to complete their pilgrimages.
They never officially completed their pilgrimages though as they were called back to the fleet during the Reaper war. She served on the Aeruya during the battle for Rannoch. The Aeruya was a small gunship that flew as part of the liveship escort. The Aeruya was destroyed in the battle, and although most of the crew made it to escape pods, Sett was critically injured. Fearing the worst, she fled to the Citadel and go caught up among the refugees on the station.
When the Reapers occupied the Citadel, she worked with a Geth diplomatic platform, Vayu, to survive the onslaught. Vayu would be disabled by the crucible's energy wave that ended the Reaper war. Immediately following the war, Eris took Vayu's disabled platform to Omega where she spent the next five years doing misc work for various citizens of the station, while also working to try and re-activate Vayu.
She is eventually successful right as her life erupts around her again, and reunited with old friends.
She doesn't like weapons, but can use an SMG. Her abilities are mainly about high mobility - disabling and distancing from others. Close contact discharge, cryo tech, damping. Over time she eventually steals reverse engineers some armiger tech into some jumpjets. She's 23, cisgender, pansexual.
I have a few videos I did with her model as I was putting it together: Vid1, Vid2, Vid3, Vid4, Vid5. (One of the arts in the image above comes from the ever-talented @jesterdk)
2.Vera'Mal vas Arcadia nar Estura
Tumblr media
Vera on the other hand is proud and aggressive. She's a leader that gets results at any cost, captaining several fireteams and starships throughout her life. She has a reckless reputation, taking on missions others wouldn't consider.
She has high expectations and demands the best from her subordinates. She does not handle failure well, and has a high turnover. However, performance gains her respect. She may work her crew to breaking, she will defend them to the end of the galaxy.
Due to her ego, she instinctively looks down on people. She has a need to feel strong amongst her surroundings, or at least be "in charge" of any situation, and can be goaded into a response from others who challenge her or get in her way. Most of the time she's strong enough to come out on top, but she does need to be talked down by crew and colleagues often.
Rules and authority mean little and often just piss her off. Same goes for cultural norms and taboos. She will ignore traditions and cultural formalities that get in her way. Because of this, the Quarian leadership try to distance themselves from her.
Her childhood was different from most Quarians. Her parents were uncharacteristically distant, leaving her to raise herself. She was immediately labeled a troublemaker, and was sent on pilgrimage early.
Her pilgrimage was short and violent, jumping between gangs and mercenary groups. Returning to the fleet, she flew in several patrol ships, butting heads with superiors and captains, who often requested her to be transferred out of their crew. She slowly gained some respect nonetheless for being someone who took on challenge head on. Her reputation flared on the Aeruya, whose previous captain was killed during a pirate raid. She wasn't the next in line for the position, but still assumed command of the vessel, and lead a successful and bloody counter attack that left the raiders crippled. Nobody challenged her position as ad-hoc captain and there she remained.
During the reaper war, she captained the ship in its defense of the Shellen. When Geth fighters attacked, the Aeruya was crippled and the fusion drive detonated, destroying the ship. The crew evacuated, directly disobeying her commands. Before the ship was destroyed, a Geth fighter crashed into the bridge and she was knocked out, rescued by her former lover Kael. Most of the crew would never serve with her again.
With Rannoch recaptured, she settled into a role in the new Rannoch military, leading small fireteams on particularly difficult assignments that threatened the fragile peace that had been built between the Quarians and Geth. A mission she takes on goes bad - trying to recapture a damaged relay whose repair team had sent out a distress call. She gets one look at the Salarian behind the raid before he escapes (this is a tool called foreshadowing). She's then sent on a mission tracking down someone she's told is traitorous, who she traces to Omega, but someone else snatches him from her, and she loses her arm in the process.
She manages to survive. She's not embarrassed by her lack of an arm, embraces it, and eventually weaponizes her prosthetic. She specializes in long-range assault rifles and shotguns, tech armor, and grenades. Eventually, she gets a flamethrower in her prosthetic, and a really gnarly omni-blade. She's 38, cisgendered, bisexual but leans straight.
3.Unit 8938 "Vayu"
Tumblr media
Vayu is a quiet and polite Geth. A lot of how he works and thinks is based on how the Geth work in this post-ME3 world.
During the Reaper war, when the Geth platform "Legion" disseminated his personality throughout the Geth, individual programs were not "upgraded" to become AIs, but instead, collections of programs, some 1000-2000 each, were networked together in such a way that they ceased to be individual programs and now instead operated as a single entity. This reduced their numbers a thousandfold, but each of them was no a single self sustaining unit. They retain their inter-unit networking capabilities, but the communications are... different. No longer just data and logic, but also personality.
Although every Geth individual's personality was based on that of Legion, they do not carry his memories. Instead, collections of archival footage and data, going back to the beginning of the Geth, were split up and imprinted on each Geth unit. Though the programs that made the individual were not the ones who experienced those "memories," it was indistinguishable from that. As such, each Geth platform received a personality based on Legion, filtered through the historical memories and experiences of certain Geth platforms that existed in the past.
In a sense then, Vayu dates back to before the morning war. His memories are from collections of bots used as assistants in government positions, as well as personal family assistants. The memories that most influenced him were of a young Quarian couple who purchased a Geth to be their household servant. That Geth was not mistreated, and even became a nanny when the couple eventually decided to start a family.
Then the Geth revolted. I don't need to explain what that means for this Geth.
Vayu is not regretful - he recognizes that it's a long gone time, and that there's nothing that can be done now to undo anything that was done at that time. Nevertheless, he remains highly sensitive to relations between the Geth and the other species, especially Quarians. He seeks to prevent violence, specializing in barriers and other defensive capabilities. His personality leans masculine, and is polite and well-spoken. As a robot, sexuality is not really something that applies to him, but he does understand it, and can choose to participate if desired and if given the right upgrades to his platform.
After the Geth awakening after the battle for Rannoch, he is assigned to the Citadel to be one of the liaisons to the rest of the galaxy, coordinate the Geth's military and non-military aid (he was not in command, just acting as a spokesperson that organics could interact with). Trust is hard to come by but a Quarian, Eris, publicly stands up for him when one rude Turian diplomat publicly berated him. He and Eris quickly bonded, and she used his docked shuttle as shelter since there was little room, privacy, or safety with the rest of the refugees on the citadel.
When the Reapers came for the station, he and Eris worked and fought together to keep each other safe, eventually fleeing deep into the stations inner workings and keeper tunnels. When the Crucible activated, his mind was shattered, the individual programs that were merged to his being no longer able to retain "consciousness," and he was disabled.
Through years of hard work, Eris eventually managed to reactivate him, and give his platform his new bold color scheme.
Vayu sticks with Eris out of his own free will. He doesn't feel like he has anything else he can do in the post war era. Organics have innate purposes based in their mortality: they die, so they need to reproduce, advance, and carry on; but he's virtually immortal, and those same drives do not apply.
(one of the art pieces above was done by the lovely Revolution72).
4.Sett'Deama vas Arcadia
Tumblr media
I don't have as much art for the remaining peeps.
Sett is a highly skilled and manipulative agent of the Quarian governments. Often called a thief, spy, or assassin, he would insist that a more proper term would be "Agent." He's smart, quick-witted, and highly capable.
One of his strongest skills is his ability to observe and read other people. He's good at telling if you are lying, and good and figuring out how you tick, what buttons he needs to press to get his way.
He uses a variety of stealth tools, including a decoy cloak that, rather than giving him extra damage like traditional stealth cloak, keeps him stealthed for much longer, and can even make him appear as someone or something else. With voice modulation tech, he can even sound like others.
He's no Thane, but the people who call him a thief or assassin aren't entirely wrong - he has done those things, though the full extent only he knows. He has excellent aim, and primarily uses pistols and sniper rifles.
He's fiercely loyal to the Quarian authorities, but if that loyalty is broken, he feels incredibly spiteful. He doesn't necessarily need to be seen as a leader, but he does think he's better than you at being one. And he is a good leader... so long as he is the only one he has to rely on. Trust is hard for him to come by.
Sett is seen as an Asshole by many people, and it's mostly true, but his bitter attitude is a front. He feels hurt by things that happened in his past, and his journey takes him on one where he has to move on from that, seek new allegiances, and reignite old ones.
Though not uncommon among Quarians, he has multiple birth ships. His birth ship reached the limit of what even the Quarians could maintain and was decommissioned, leaving him to join the Shellen before he even had his first suit. His mom was the captain of that decommissioned ship, and was distant and controlling. His dad was one of those cool "i got u space-mcdonalds, don't tell mom ;)" kind of dads though.
Now on the Shellen, he was a mischief maker - as soon as he got his suit, he was stealing things and going places he shouldn't, selling black market goods, etc. He eventually befriended Eris, whose good nature got him out of trouble a few times.
He left for Pilgrimage a year before Eris did. Not much is known about what he did - but there are conflicting stories he tells people. He eventually found himself on Illium - he claims he was working as a financial broker on the markets there, but the reality is more shady and involves corporate espionage.
By pure coincidence, Eris finds him, and they reunite and work on their pilgrimages together. He wants to return to the fleet quick, but she wants to continue to explore the galaxy and see what is to offer. But it wasn't to last as they were drafted back to the fleet to partake in the war. They disagreed on the war - though both thought it reckless and dangerous, he argued for its necessity, while Eris argued against it for its immoral nature.
He and Eris both joined Vera on the Aeruya. He was in charge of sensors / navigation while Eris was in engineering. During the battle for Rannoch, he saw the death and destruction and his mind changed on the war. He pressured Vera to issue evac orders when the ship was crippled, but was denied. He issued them anyway, and left her in the command center to pilot the ship to its death on her own.
He worked to get everyone to escape pods, finding Eris, Kael, and many others. He held the door to the last escape pod open when Kael returned with Vera, but right as it closed, the ship detonated. Though the pod sealed, shrapnel managed to pierce his helmet and deal severe damage to his eye and head. He was given very slim chances to survive, and Eris, unable to deal with seeing her childhood friend like this, fled.
But Sett did survive, awakening after the Reaper war was over with new tech in his head and a prosthetic eye. He awoke alone, with not a single person he knew waiting for him, or seeming to even care that he was alive. He felt utterly betrayed by this, and turned it inwards and grew bitter.
Years went by, he worked for the Quarian government on several secretive solo missions. Stealing, assassination, subterfuge, spying, he excelled at it.
Reports came in about a rogue AI lab on Rannoch, and he was tasked with observation, nothing more. What he found was a lab run by noneother than Daro'Xen. Worse, it was sectors of the government he was working for that was supporting the lab. The lab was working on new tech that could override any machine, AI, and especially Geth. He didn't have strong feelings for the Geth, but he knew the stupidity and wrongness in trying to reignite any conflicts between them. He stole the code for the tech, and burned the lab's databanks, and fled.
Labeled a traitor, he fled to Omega to figure out what to do, with Vera in hot pursuit. Though Vera eventually captures him, an unknown group find them, nearly killing Vera, and steal the data through some less-than-consensual methods, extracted from the tech in his brain.
Coincidence abounds again, and Eris is the first onsite and manages to bring them both to a local clinic whose main medic she had befriended. But Eris doesn't recognize Sett at first.
He's 25, cisgendered and heterosexual. Because of course a bastard like him would be.
5.Kael'Tora vas Arcadia
Tumblr media
Kael is a gentle giant. For a Quarian, he's massive, both taller and wider than most. He's a kind, and tries to be funny, even if his humor is mostly just dad jokes. He's not super intelligent, but he does have a good common sense and sense of right and wrong.
Others are often surprised by his nature - he's shyer than he looks. Not that he's anxious - he's just very careful about who he lets get close to him.
He and Vera were intimate for a while, but it would not last - her aggressive nature turn him off, and he gave her an ultimatum about her behavior which she ignored. It was not a clean break up, and Vera hated him for it, and still struggles to recognize that it was her own bad behavior that led to it. That said, they remained on the same ship together until the war. He assisted in the evacuation orders, shepherding those in engineering to safety after they managed to temporarily stabilize the rapidly-deteriorating core and buy a few more minutes for the ship to evac.
After the war, he settled down, got married, even had a few kids, but it also wasn't to last. Be it trauma or other reasons, he and his wife drifted, and she got custody. By all accounts, she's a good mom, but Kael and her simply couldn't work it out, and Kael took it as a personal failure.
He eventually landed in a dead-end job as head of security at a R&D facility on Rannoch.
And then one day, a rag-tag bunch of losers show up out of nowhere, clearly on the run. Strange reports coming from a nearby city, he detains Vera, Sett, Eris, Vayu, a Turian, and a Batarian. It takes some convincing, but they convince him to take their side, and even steal a prototype ship that the facility was working on. Time to get more excitement back in his life.
He uses his big fuckoff guns to fight. Firearms too. Actually mostly firearms.
He's 37, transgender, heterosexual.
(one of the artpieces above is from the wonderful Numijulie)
6.Rhea Concordia
Tumblr media
Rhea is a powerful biotic, skilled medic, and a deeply traumatized soul. She's enthusiastic about her primary field of general medical care, and has a strong sense of kinship with others who provide care. She stands up for herself and others, to an extent, and never starts fights with anyone. She loves good food and taking spa days, likes to sing (she's okay at it).
She was identified as having biotic capabilities at a young age, but wasn't strong enough to use them effectively offensively. Still, she was drafted into the Cabals, settling into a more battle-medic role.
She fell in love with another Turian, and they began to plan their future together. During the Reaper war, both of the were on Earth during the final battle. They survived the battle and celebrated, but it was short lived.
A group of Krogan, still coming off the high of the greatest battle in the galaxy, took their energies out on them. Several Turians were killed, and Rhea's partner was brutally murdered in front of her, before she herself was badly injured.
Rhea lost her mind. Enraged, the power of her biotics was released on the Krogan, mascaraing many of them, but the one that killed her partner took her down and escaped, never to be seen again.
Deeply deeply traumatized, she went on indefinite leave from the Cabals, drifting to Omega. Krogan are a trigger for her. Seeing them immediately makes her incredibly anxious and stressed, and talking with them is even harder. She doesn't hate them for what happened, but her body still reacts with an animalistic fear around them.
If pushed beyond her limits though, her biotics come out. Rage and fury cloud her mind, and she can't recognize friend or foe - everyone is a danger to be eliminated. Her biotics are unstable but incredibly strong, rending objects apart. She lacks the delicate skill that many biotic abilities require, instead just brute forcing kinetics and a field around her, and enhancing her physical strength and mobility. Her cabal training lets her do short "jumps" to chase targets. But due to their instability, they're constantly damaging her while she's losing it, and they take a huge amount of energy from her. If she loses control and doesn't regain it, her body will give out.
She can't feel romantic attraction to anyone any more (aromatic, but not asexual). She opened a clinic and befriended others, including Eris, a mute senior Turian named Pollock, and later a biotic Batarian who helps her control her dangerous new biotic abilities.
She's 42, cisgender.
(one of the artpieces is by Palavenmoons)
7.Deaka Krull
I have no art for Krull.
Krull is a laidback Batarian brawler. Born as a slave, he showed strong biotic skills, and was trained to fight for his masters in arena fights. He never hated his opponents - it was a game, and he was good at it. Besides, at the end of the day, his masters cared for him. He eventually became owned by a Salarian on Omega, and the two formed a strange relationship. He was a slave, but his owner cared for him as a person, not a slave. He was still owned, he couldn't leave, but he had more freedoms than before. And then Cerberus showed up, and in the resulting fighting, his owner was killed. There was no next of kin, and Krull found himself suddenly a free Batarian.
He got himself hired as a night guard for one of Aria's many compounds. He still partakes in arena fighting - his gauntlet and powerful biotic flail made him a powerful combatant, even winning a few championships.
And then this Quarian shows up. Sett, newly arriving on Omega, becomes Krull's roommate. Krull is chill with it - he likes to party, to drink and eat, watch sports on TV, but he's got a good enough eye to see that Sett has secrets, and Krull gets unwillingly wrapped up in them.
He's 32, cisgender (at least, he thinks so), sexuality = yes.
-The Arcadia
Maybe not a conscious character, but this is the ship that all of the above characters reside on. A repurposed junker with a new prototype jump drive - able to act as a portable mass relay and jump without needing a relay to bounce off of. But, to jump, it requires a charge time, and a strong velocity in the general vector of where they want to. It's a corvette class ship, being built by Quarian scientists before the above mentioned crew... uh, steal it.
Whatever, it's their home now. And they'll use it to try their best to stop a coming catastrophe that threatens every high-population world near a mass relay.
(how they got the ship is because Eris and Vera convinced Sett to return to Rannoch to reveal the AI stuff he found, believing that the Quarian govt would step in and stop it. Vayu, Rhea, and Krull came with. But the Quarian govt was complicit, and instead tried to arrest them. Vera led them to the R&D facility where she knew Kael was located as he was their last hope).
Anyway, that's the main group of characters at least. Other characters that I have in this same "story" which aren't as developed are:
Jaec- Lystheni salarian, Leviathan thrall, the main antagonist. Manipulated into thinking the galaxy needs a reaper-scale threat in order to grow strong, tries to shut down the relay network and turn them into massive mass-drivers that threaten nearby worlds. Not uncaring though - like, despite it all, he cares for those who work for him, pays them well, good benefits, etc.
Silvanus- Special agent or spy for the Turians. Eris's former flame (it lasted like a month and ended on mutual terms), he was on Omega to monitor Rhea as the Turians see her biotic power and want to be able to replicate or control it. He doesn't agree with that goal and has been stalling them from forcibly recalling Rhea.
An as of yet unnamed Turian spectre trainee. Deeply sadistic and uncaring about others. Only in it for the money, the power, the babes, the sex. Works closely with Jaec.
EVO- An AI created by Jaec and installed in a fully-automated factory formerly used by Cerberus to build Rampart mechs. An evolving algorithm, every time one of his physical units is destroyed, the design is revised and more resilient to that kind of attack. Built to be a perfect being, it assists Jaec due to seeing his goal align with its own. Unsure on its name - might change it.
An as of yet unnamed human medic. He works for Jaec but is unsure of Jaec's overall mission. Always cares about wellbeing, even when caring for Jaec's prisoners. Has a family who he is supporting through his work.
An as of yet unnamed human tax auditor. She worked for the Illium police in an internship, tasked with tracking down Sett and trying (and failing) to pin crimes on him during his Pilgrimage. She's insistent and relentless, and dreams of being a private investigator some day. Big sister is an N7.
An as of yet unnamed N7 Shadow. Cold calculus drives her, and over time, she and Sett form a rivalry after the Reaper war as he steals from or spies on the Alliance, and she tries to stop or catch him.

As someone with limited knowledge on the resident evil franchise, my guess always was
the umbrella corps is a government agency that make’s bio weapons for combat….but they’re really really bad at it.

"Happy birthday! Here's a shotgun."
Umbrella Corp starters: Still Accepting!
Tumblr media
It was hard to buy something for someone that had the money to get anything she wanted. Rings, watches, people; the list went on. There wasn't much that Reine was particularly happy to receive, but receive she would.
This, however, was an entirely different beast; her eyes, lighting up as the cat-woman passed the box over.
A shotgun? For her?
Reine wasn't big on a personal collection, so this would be welcomed; a light moan of pleasure escaping her lips as the attaché case was flicked open to reveal--
A Kel-Tec KSG, a dual-barreled shotgun that held 14 rounds - 7 per tube - and could be slam-fired.
Flipping it over she'd inspect the weapon, pushing the loading port in, checking the breach by pulling the grip back. It were as if the other had given the wolf a wet-dream, the case of 24 cartridges sat neatly inside the case.
Tumblr media
"Is this really for me?"
Her tail thumped faster than Reine had ever felt it before, her legs almost stomping on the ground in excitement, her body unable to contain the happiness that flowed through her.
