Research has shown that all meat eaters have worms and a high incidence of parasites in their intestines. This is hardly surprising given the fact that dead flesh (cadaver) is a favorite target for microorganisms of all sorts. A 1996 study by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) showed that nearly 80 percent of ground beef is contaminated with disease-causing microbes. The primary source of these bugs is feces. A study conducted by the University of Arizona found there are more fecal bacteria in the average kitchen sink than in the average toilet bowl. The germs and parasites found in meat weaken the immune system and are the source of many diseases. In fact, most food poisonings today are related to meat-eating. During a mass outbreak near Glasgow, 16 out of over 200 infected people died from the consequences of eating E. coli contaminated meat. Frequent outbreaks are reported in Scotland and many other parts of the world. More than half a million Americans, most of them children, have been sickened by mutant fecal bacteria (E. coli) in meat. These germs are the leading cause of kidney failure among children in the United States. This fact alone should prompt every responsible parent to prevent their children from eating flesh foods... Parasite Cleanse Diet – Foods To Eat And Foods To Avoid
One of the best ways to help the body destroy and get rid of unwanted parasites is following a parasite cleanse diet. This diet should be taken for at least 2 months to give your body an opportunity to get rid of all kinds of parasites and eggs that are hidden in different organs.
Parasites in the body can originate from several sources, such as raw meat, tainted water, pets or other animals.
They can cause symptoms like: digestive disorders, fatigue, food cravings and unstable blood sugar.
A good parasite cleanse diet involves eating herbs and natural whole foods that will help the body eliminate parasites.
The diet should have high mineral and nutrient content and shouldn’t contain any kind of artificial stimulants.
Here are some of the common foods and herbs that should be included in a good parasite cleansing diet.
You can find them at your local grocery store or health food store.
Wormwood, Garlic, Cloves, Black Walnut Hulls, Green leafy Vegetables, Coconut oil, Papaya, Green onions, Pineapple, Pumpkin seeds, cranberry juice (unsweetened), Fennel seed tea, Pungent spices clear out parasites, Spices like cayenne, chilies, horseradish, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and cloves all make parasites disappear.
Foods to Avoid...avoid sugar, Sugar feeds parasites and also eats up the supply of B vitamins and minerals in the body. A parasitic infection may lead to cravings for carbohydrates and refined sugar, so it’s best to avoid these kinds of food to starve parasites off their energy and fuel. Refunded carbohydrates, like cakes, bread, cookies, cereal and pasta should be avoided. All of these lead to major fluctuations in blood sugar control and therefore put an extra strain on an already burdened system that’s infected with parasites.

Read The Label
It is no secret that Americans face an obesity problem. While the stats vary from year to year, the essence is this: 39.6% of US Adults are obese, 31.6% are overweight, and 7.7% are severely obese. That means only 21.1% of us are not obese or—gasp—underweight. That’s hardly a symbol of American prosperity.
Obesity leads to myriad health problems, from diabetes to heart disease, joint problems, and more. It’s a train wreck waiting to happen. As a nation, many of our health problems are things we can control.
And yet we’re not exactly doing anything about it, at least not in consumer land. It’s easy to blame our busy lives not allowing enough time for exercise, but that’s a pretty lame excuse. We can always exercise, even if it is just chair yoga. The problem runs deeper, from consumption of fatty, sugar-laden processed foods, to diets centered on too much of meats, dairy, and eggs and not enough fruits and vegetables, and a sedentary lifestyle that finds us indoors interacting with some kind of screen.
It’s not like the government didn’t recognize this. In 1990, the NLEA (Nutrition Labeling and Education Act) was passed, and in 1994, the first Nutrition Facts label appeared on consumer packaged foods. It has evolved through the years such that it is packed with relevant information. Even the portion size is standardized, thanks to governmental oversight, and is based on the RACC—Reference Amounts Customarily Consumed.
Come on, isn’t a standard serving size of Oreos the whole package? Some people customarily do just that.
In 2018, restaurant chains with 20 or more units had to start posting calorie contents of menu items. Smaller chains and one-of-a-kinds were exempt, because restaurateurs had to go to great expense to have each and every entree analyzed in a lab. That bloomin’ onion at Outback Steakhouse clocks in at 1660 calories. That’s insane for an appetizer.
But evidence suggests that people still don’t consume the information. A study by the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota showed that people check the information infrequently, if at all. All that ink, going to waste.
Marketers, though, in spite of blind eyes and deaf ears among consumers, still love to run and play with marketing words that complement the government mandatories. They must assume that shoppers are more prone to reading the front of the package, and not the back.
Words and phrases like “organic,” “non-GMO,” “all natural,” “plant-based,” and the like are now commonplace, and they supposedly help guide consumer purchase. The USDA regulates some of these, but not all. Of those regulated, there are exacting requirements to make the claim of being organic or other such traits. Basically, the USDA has created benchmarks. But not all words and phrases are regulated.
In many regards, it is like the wild, wild west when it comes to food claims, and the notion of caveat emptor has never been more true. You’re on your own, buddy. Become an educated consumer. You eat at your own peril.
All of this coming at a time when a major class action lawsuit against Wendy’s and McDonald’s has been dismissed. The judged ruled that photographic puffery of menu items is just part of the marketing hyperbole. It’s on you, not them.
I am one of the few who does read labels carefully. The ongoing evolution of the Nutrition Facts label makes it easier than ever to identify the source(s) of a food’s bad traits, as well as bold-faced ingredients (14 different ones!) that are red flags based on a person’s allergies or food choices. And if you’re wondering whether a shopper could use the same level of scrutiny online as in the store, the answer is yes. I checked my most recent Walmart+ purchases, and found each item in my history has both the Nutrition Facts and Ingredients shown.
So what do we make of this? It’s a mess, there’s a ton of information, and from the looks of things, most people are ignoring it. In a nutshell, they’re just not having any of this health and wellness the federal government would like to foster, even if it is a public good. Let’s face it, a sick population costs money to keep on life support, but it seems that few care.
And here we are, four out of five overweight to some extent. Eating a WFPB (Whole Food, Plant-Based) -diet is tough, but it works if care is taken to get the right amounts of nutrients. It is the extreme, though. But man is it inconvenient, not to mention difficult to do in public. You have to take the time to know your foods, not to mention mustering up the resolve to forsake the comfort foods our culture promotes so heavily.
It’s a tangled mess. The government thinks it is important, but in the end, it all boils down to personal responsibility. You can bring a person to organic tofu, but you can’t make them eat it. And the marketers always love an opportunity to spin doctor anything. I once found a frozen grocery item that had the familiar (and one may now say over-used) phrase “plant-based” on the label. Turned out it was only one of the ingredients making that claim; the item in totality was hardly vegan, if that was your goal.
I’m OK with the personal responsibility. Eat what you like, whatever it is. But please also figure out a way to squeeze in a fitness regime. At the end of the day, and aside from any genetic predispositions, it boils down to what we put in, and what we put out. And please start reading those labels. You don’t have to be a food nutritionist to understand them, although I’m sure it helps.
In an organic kind of way, of course.

The Death of a Keyword, and the Re-Shuffling of $500B in US eCommerce Sales
By Justin Leigh | CEO, Workflow Labs | Article Link
Search is really important. It’s so much faster than browsing. In fact, it’s so much better that over 80% of Amazon’s sales are driven by customers going to the search bar, entering some keywords and buying one of the top five products of the thousands that the search query returns.
Keyword Search Sucks
As great as it is, keyword search sucks. We just don’t know it yet. We don’t know it yet in the same way we didn’t realize that stopping at a gas station to buy a paper map sucked compared to using GPS navigation. Or having to wait in the rain at a designated meeting spot after a concert sucked compared to just texting your friends to ask where they are.
Objectively, it’s an odd process. Customers must first think of words they believe a computer will understand. The customer is then rewarded with an overwhelming amount of somewhat relevant products. When the customer searches again, the search engine forgets they’ve ever talked with this customer before and returns a pile of new, unrelated products. It’s like walking into a grocery store and yelling, “Peanut Butter,” and an army of clerks bring you all the cereal, dog treats and sandwich spread that contain the words “Peanut” and/or “Butter.” You then yell, “Organic,” and get a bunch of bananas, flour, and healthy snacks.
This is not how we’ve evolved to think or communicate, but we accept it because the alternative - browsing through thousands of products - is much worse.
Then the World Changed
Search is about to get a lot better. Generative search, natural language processing and AI will replace keyword matching and the results are incredible. Unfortunately, that’s terrible news for everyone who has built a successful business based on keyword search.
To understand the difference, consider the following product search in this new world:
Me:
“please recommend a peanut butter that is healthy and comes in a large container because I make a lot of sandwiches”
ChatGPT:
“When choosing a peanut butter, look for one that is made with only a few ingredients, such as peanuts and salt, and avoid those with added sugars or oils. Here are some recommendations for healthy peanut butter options that come in large containers:
Crazy Richard's 100% Peanuts All-Natural Peanut Butter: This peanut butter is made with only one ingredient: roasted peanuts. It's also gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO, and comes in a 48-ounce jar.
Kirkland Signature Organic Creamy Peanut Butter: This peanut butter is made with only organic roasted peanuts and salt. It comes in a 28-ounce jar and is certified USDA organic.
Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter: This peanut butter is made with only two ingredients: peanuts and salt. It's also non-GMO and gluten-free and comes in a 26.5-ounce jar.
Remember that peanut butter is high in calories and fat, so be mindful of your portion sizes to maintain a healthy diet.”
Great, now I’d like to know what I should spend on these:
“How much do those items cost on Amazon?”
ChatGPT:
“The prices of these items on Amazon may vary depending on the time of purchase and location, but here are the current prices (as of my knowledge cutoff date of September 2021) for each peanut butter option:
Crazy Richard's 100% Peanuts All-Natural Peanut Butter (48 oz): $13.97
Kirkland Signature Organic Creamy Peanut Butter (28 oz): $9.86
Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter (26.5 oz): $5.64
Jif Natural Creamy Peanut Butter (40 oz): $9.99
Skippy Natural Creamy Peanut Butter (40 oz): $7.67
Trader Joe's Creamy Salted Peanut Butter (16 oz): $7.95
Keep in mind that prices may vary, and there may be other retailers that offer these products at different prices.”
I’m easily influenced by famous people, so naturally:
“Are there any endorsed by celebrities?”
ChatGPT:
“There may be peanut butter brands that are endorsed by celebrities, but it's important to remember that celebrity endorsements do not necessarily mean that a product is healthier or of better quality. It's always a good idea to focus on the ingredients and nutritional value of a product rather than relying solely on celebrity endorsements.
That being said, here are a few peanut butter brands that have been endorsed by celebrities:
Justin's Nut Butter: Justin's is a natural nut butter company that has been endorsed by several celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston and Oprah Winfrey. Their products are made with high-quality ingredients and come in a variety of flavors.
PBfit: PBfit is a brand of powdered peanut butter that has been endorsed by actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens. Their powdered peanut butter is made with only roasted peanuts, salt, and sugar, and has 87% less fat than traditional peanut butter.
NuttZo: NuttZo is a nut butter brand that has been endorsed by Olympic athlete Lindsey Vonn. Their products are made with a blend of organic nuts and seeds and come in several different varieties.
Again, it's important to do your own research and read ingredient labels to make an informed decision about the peanut butter you choose to purchase.”
So, there you have it. In addition to being endorsed by Vanessa Hudgens, PBFit was an early client at my last company so it’s the obvious winner. If you conduct the same search, you will get different results. The system is constantly learning and improving in ways no human can truly understand.
It makes the old keyword way seem so…old.
Who Will Mourn the Keyword?
There is no world in which keyword search wins. It’s like bringing keywords to a natural language processing fight. AI wins, Customers win, big time. Shoppers will not mourn keywords.
Those who will mourn keywords are the owners of the products that have spent millions or billions of dollars on advertising, content, strategy, and execution to have the coveted top placement on the keywords that drive their business. The ad platforms that generate billions of dollars selling keyword targeted ads will also mourn. How will advertisers target consumers? Other than just trusting AI, how do advertisers make decisions about how and where to invest? How will brands know what content to develop? Companies that built entire businesses on keyword matching processes will mourn them.
AI in the Driver's Seat Means Different Products Win
As generative search based on natural language processing rolls out $500B+ of US retail sales will be completely reshuffled. Ad tools and tactics will shift seemingly overnight.
Some products will just accidentally win. They were always more relevant, but no one knew. With AI in the driver seat, these products will steal share from others that had carefully, and expensively, mastered the now useless keywords. Brands will be forced to learn to understand how the retailers’ different flavors of generative search work. They will need to know a lot more about their customers. Keyword stuffing into titles or bullets will not work anymore. Brands will have to be strategic and highly engaged in actively managing the data that trains the AI models.
Saying Goodbye is Hard
Having been there for the birth of the keyword and now standing here so close to the end, I’d like to say a few words:
Keyword, you were a good friend. You led us out of the darkness of browse. You exposed all the knowledge of the world so I could settle minor disputes with my friends in real time. You changed our lives in unimaginable ways. Born just thirty years ago in 1993 on Aliweb, you were so young. But change is life’s only constant, and I need more, better ways to find the right peanut butter for me. So, it’s time to say goodbye.
But you never know! Just like the acid-washed jeans I wore to your birthday party, maybe, one day, you’ll come back into style.

Fighting Hunger in the City of Brotherly Love with Philabundance
Philadelphia is a city renowned for its rich history, vibrant culture, and diverse population. However, behind the landmarks and attractions lies a stark reality: a significant portion of its residents struggle with food insecurity. In response to this growing issue, organizations like Philabundance and other local Philadelphia food banks have emerged as vital lifelines, providing much-needed sustenance to those in need.
The State of Food Insecurity in Philadelphia
Food insecurity is a pervasive issue in Philadelphia, with many individuals and families facing the harsh reality of not knowing where their next meal will come from. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), food insecurity is defined as the lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. In Philadelphia, this issue disproportionately affects low-income communities, the elderly, and children. The pandemic has further exacerbated this problem, leaving many more families in dire need of assistance.
Philabundance
At the forefront of the fight against hunger in Philadelphia is Philabundance, one of the largest hunger relief organizations in the Delaware Valley. Founded in 1984, Philabundance has been committed to driving hunger from the communities it serves. The organization’s mission is simple yet profound: to end hunger for good.
Philabundance operates a wide array of programs and initiatives aimed at addressing the root causes of hunger while providing immediate relief to those in need. Philabundance is a Philadelphia food bank dedicated to ensuring that no one in the community goes hungry.
Food Distribution Programs
Philabundance’s food distribution network is vast and far-reaching, serving over 135,000 people each week. The organization partners with more than 350 agencies, including food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens, to distribute millions of pounds of food annually. This food comes from various sources, including donations from individuals, grocery stores, and farms, as well as purchases made by Philabundance.
Advocacy and Education
Philabundance understands that addressing food insecurity requires more than just distributing food; it also involves advocating for systemic change. The organization works tirelessly to raise awareness about the root causes of hunger, such as poverty, unemployment, and lack of access to healthy food. Through public policy advocacy, Philabundance aims to influence legislation that supports food assistance programs and addresses the underlying factors contributing to hunger.
Furthermore, Philabundance offers nutrition education programs that teach individuals and families how to make healthy, budget-friendly meals. By empowering people with knowledge and skills, the organization helps them make informed choices that can lead to better health outcomes.
The Role of Philadelphia Food Banks
In addition to Philabundance, Philadelphia is home to several other food banks and hunger relief organizations that play a crucial role in combating food insecurity. These organizations work collaboratively with Philabundance and other partners to ensure that food is distributed efficiently and effectively to those who need it most.
Local food banks, such as the Share Food Program and Food Connect, focus on providing emergency food assistance, particularly in underserved communities. These food banks often serve as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking help, offering not only food but also connections to additional resources, such as housing assistance, job training, and healthcare services.
Philabundance and Philadelphia’s food banks are essential pillars of support for thousands of residents facing food insecurity. Through comprehensive programs, advocacy, and community partnerships, these organizations work tirelessly to ensure that everyone has access to the food they need to thrive. Fresh Flaxseed Oil Online: A Healthy Choice at Your Fingertips
Flaxseed oil, also known as linseed oil, has gained immense popularity in recent years due to its exceptional health benefits. Extracted from the seeds of the flax plant, this golden oil is a powerhouse of essential nutrients and a must-have for anyone aiming to adopt a healthier lifestyle. With the growing awareness of its advantages, purchasing fresh flaxseed oil online has become a convenient and reliable option for health enthusiasts.
Fresh flaxseed oil is celebrated for its rich composition of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). This essential nutrient is known to support heart health, reduce inflammation, and promote overall wellness. Including flaxseed oil in your daily diet is a simple yet effective way to boost your intake of omega-3s, which are often lacking in modern diets. Unlike fish oil, flaxseed oil is a plant-based source, making it an excellent choice for vegetarians and vegans.
Beyond its omega-3 content, flaxseed oil is packed with antioxidants, lignans, and vitamin E, which contribute to its impressive health profile. These compounds work together to fight free radicals, improve skin health, and support a robust immune system. Flaxseed oil is also known to aid in digestion, as it helps to lubricate the digestive tract and promote regular bowel movements.
The versatility of flaxseed oil makes it a staple in many households. It can be used as a salad dressing, drizzled over cooked vegetables, or added to smoothies for a nutritional boost. However, it is important to note that flaxseed oil is not suitable for high-heat cooking, as excessive heat can degrade its beneficial properties. To preserve its quality, it should be stored in a cool, dark place and used within its recommended shelf life.
Buying fresh flaxseed oil online offers numerous advantages over traditional retail purchases. Online platforms provide access to a wide variety of brands, allowing consumers to compare products and choose the one that best suits their needs. Detailed product descriptions, customer reviews, and certifications ensure transparency and help buyers make informed decisions. Additionally, online shopping eliminates the need to visit physical stores, saving time and effort.
The freshness of flaxseed oil is crucial to ensure its maximum benefits. Since the oil is prone to oxidation, purchasing it from a reputable online source that prioritizes freshness and quality is essential. Many online stores now offer cold-pressed flaxseed oil, which is extracted without heat to retain its nutritional integrity. Cold-pressed oils are superior in quality and flavor, making them a preferred choice for health-conscious individuals.
Another benefit of buying flaxseed oil online is the availability of organic options. Organic flaxseed oil is produced without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, ensuring a cleaner and more sustainable product. For those who value environmental responsibility, choosing organic flaxseed oil is a step toward supporting eco-friendly farming practices.
When purchasing flaxseed oil online, it is important to check for key quality indicators. Look for certifications such as USDA Organic, Non-GMO, or ISO standards, which validate the authenticity and quality of the product. Reputable online stores also provide detailed information about the sourcing and processing methods, giving consumers confidence in their purchase.
Price comparison is another advantage of buying flaxseed oil online. With multiple platforms offering competitive prices and discounts, consumers can find high-quality products that fit their budget. Many online stores also offer subscription options, ensuring a regular supply of fresh flaxseed oil at discounted rates.
For those seeking the finest fresh flaxseed oil online, Miller Stores is a trusted name in the market. Renowned for their commitment to quality, Miller Stores offers a premium range of flaxseed oil that is cold-pressed, organic, and meticulously packaged to preserve its freshness. Climate Change and Composting
One of the best parts of college is the beauty of the dining hall. In this magical place, you can chat with your friends for hours, eating as much food as you desire. However, students’ eyes are often bigger than their stomachs; and sometimes, the dining hall food is just not appetizing. Therefore, the limitless freedom of the dining hall leads to an immense production of food waste. Whether it is the food students do not eat off their plates or what is left over after the hall closes, food is constantly being made and then thrown away. Living in a city with a high homeless population and a great need for food, this practice is simply unethical. Not to mention, it has major impacts on the environment.
Environmental Impact of Food Waste
In addition to college dining halls, immense amounts of food waste are produced by grocery stores, restaurants, and other retail food stores in the United States, which has a detrimental impact on the climate crisis. According to the USDA, approximately 30-40% of the food supply chain becomes food waste (“Food Waste FAQs”). This waste harms individuals experiencing hunger and contributes to the climate crisis. Wasting food wastes all the resources and energy involved in its production such as water, land, transportation emissions, etc. Additionally, when food goes into the landfill and rots, it produces methane (“Fight Climate Change…”). This greenhouse gas is more than 28 times as potent as carbon dioxide at trapping heat in the atmosphere, ultimately accelerating the climate crisis (“Importance of Methane”). In the U.S. alone, food waste produces the same amount of greenhouse gas emissions as 32.6 million cars (“Fight Climate Change…”). Therefore, to fight the climate crisis (and hunger), we must fight food waste.
Humans and Food
We can probably all agree that food waste is unethical because of its impacts on the environment and disregard for those in need. After all, for every old sandwich you throw away, there is probably a child out there starving. However, the question is: How did we get here? How is there so much food waste and so many hungry people? From this perspective, it seems like we have the key to our own prison. The root cause of food waste can be tied back to capitalism which increases the amount of goods produced. With so many products being made and/or sold each day at food retailers and grocery stores, consumers cannot keep up. Simply put, we are making more than the consumer needs. To make matters worse, we are not giving this excess to those in need but instead are feeding landfills. Our apathy towards food waste can also be attributed to our distanced relationship with food. Because most of us are not farmers, we are disconnected from our food and its production. We purchase, cook, and eat. Or sometimes, just purchase and eat. We do not usually think about where our food came from, and the resources needed to grow it. This system has ultimately enabled us to waste food without a second thought. To combat the food waste epidemic, we need to not only restructure the system of food production (returning to more local production) but also restructure our mindset to reconnect with our food.
Fordham Food Solutions
While we work to minimize the amount of food waste we produce, we can also implement strategies like compositing and food drives to reduce the amount of food ending up in landfills. In the past year, the United Student Government Committee at Fordham University passed a composting proposal that would implement an industrial composting machine in our new dining hall. Although it would not implement composting across the entire campus, it would help reduce a significant source of food waste. Compositing, the process of recycling food scraps and other organic matter, helps reduce methane emissions in landfills and can strengthen local soils. Thus, by implementing composting in the university’s central dining hub, we can help keep food waste out of the trash and can use it to strengthen local biodiversity on campus (rather than using artificial fertilizers). In addition to getting funding for this composting machine, we are also working to implement composting in off-campus housing. Since the city manages the waste from these apartments, we could easily provide residents with composting bins to participate in NYC's new curbside composting initiative. Another initiative on campus working to reduce food waste is Fordham Food Walks, a new club that uses extra-meal swipes from students to buy meals for a local shelter. By implementing compositing within the university and giving back to the local community, students are working to fight both the climate and hunger crises.

The Secrets Behind Successful Organic Food Manufacturers
As consumer interest in healthy organic food continues to grow, leading organic food manufacturers are setting new benchmarks in sustainability, product quality, and transparency. While many companies claim to produce organic products, only a few truly stand out for their dedication to ethical practices, innovation, and meeting strict organic certification standards. At Acton International LLC, we recognize the importance of these key players in shaping the future of organic food production and consumption. In this article, we explore the distinct features that differentiate top organic food manufacturers from the rest, focusing on what makes them industry leaders.
The Organic Food Market: An Overview
The demand for organic products has skyrocketed in recent years as consumers become more health-conscious and environmentally aware. Organic food manufacturers cater to this growing market by offering products free from harmful pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). The popularity of natural organic products is evident in the increasing number of consumers searching for "organic food store near me" and favoring foods that promote better health and environmental sustainability.
Why Choose Organic?
Choosing organic food over conventionally grown food has several advantages. Organic farming practices improve soil health, reduce pollution, and promote biodiversity. Additionally, organic foods are often fresher and free from harmful chemicals, making them a healthier choice for consumers. For companies looking to make a mark in the industry, maintaining high standards of organic certification and offering truly healthy organic food products is essential for success.
What Defines a Leading Organic Food Manufacturer?
Not all organic food manufacturers are created equal. While many companies produce organic products, leading manufacturers go above and beyond, setting themselves apart through innovative practices, stringent quality controls, and a commitment to sustainability. Below are the key characteristics that differentiate top organic food manufacturers from others in the industry.
1. Commitment to Organic Certification and Standards
One of the hallmarks of a top-tier organic food manufacturer is its commitment to maintaining organic certification. This involves adhering to strict guidelines set by certification bodies such as the USDA, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of organic integrity. Leading manufacturers are transparent about their certification process and provide detailed information on the sourcing and production of their products.
To earn and maintain organic certification, these companies must avoid synthetic chemicals, GMOs, and artificial additives throughout their production processes. This commitment to certified organic standards instills consumer confidence, setting these manufacturers apart from others who may cut corners in their production.
The Importance of Trustworthy Labels
Labels play a crucial role in establishing credibility. Shoppers often look for certified organic seals when browsing an organic food store near them, knowing that these symbols reflect a product’s adherence to organic farming practices. Leading manufacturers work hard to maintain this trust by undergoing regular audits and inspections to uphold their certifications.
2. Sustainability and Ethical Farming Practices
Sustainability is at the heart of what sets leading organic food manufacturers apart. Organic farming is inherently more environmentally friendly than conventional farming, but top manufacturers take sustainability a step further by implementing innovative practices that reduce their carbon footprint and promote biodiversity. These companies are not just interested in producing healthy organic food; they are dedicated to doing so in ways that benefit the planet.

Top organic food manufacturers are also committed to social responsibility. Many companies partner with farmers in developing countries, offering fair trade prices and ensuring that workers are treated fairly. These practices not only support ethical production but also enhance the communities where the farms are located.
3. Innovation in Organic Food Production
Innovation is another factor that distinguishes leading organic food manufacturers from their competitors. While the organic food industry is grounded in traditional farming practices, top manufacturers are constantly innovating to improve product quality, shelf life, and production efficiency. This includes developing new organic products, enhancing food safety standards, and investing in research to create better, more sustainable farming techniques.

Such technology reinforces the manufacturer’s commitment to authenticity and quality.
5. Focus on Consumer Education
Educating consumers about the benefits of organic food is another area where top organic food manufacturers excel. They invest in consumer outreach programs, providing valuable information about organic farming practices, the health benefits of natural organic products, and the environmental impact of conventional agriculture. These efforts help consumers make informed decisions and foster greater loyalty to the brand.

Expanding Reach Through Online Retail
Many leading manufacturers also invest in e-commerce platforms, making it easier for consumers to purchase their products online. Whether through their own websites or major online retailers, these companies ensure that their healthy organic food products are accessible to a global audience.
Conclusion
Leading organic food manufacturers distinguish themselves through their unwavering commitment to organic certification, sustainability, innovation, transparency, and consumer education. Perfection Flowers
Flowers are known to carry a variety of meanings. In general, they are associated with joy and pleasure. However, each flower has its own specific meanings and symbols.
After arranging, trim stems at an angle and store in cool water. This will allow your blooms to hydrate properly and last longer.
Roses
The rose is the most recognizable Perfection flowers in the world and has been associated with romance for thousands of years. The bloom’s delicate appearance belies its incredible strength and resilience – just like the love that it embodies.
Roses are often thought to represent a deep connection, and the hue of their petals symbolizes mystery. These unique flowers are the perfect choice for sending someone special an invitation to explore their innermost secrets.
A rose flower is considered perfect if it contains functional male and female reproductive structures (Summary Table, Figure 2a). These structures can produce a seed through sexual reproduction when ripe pollen from the anthers reaches a receptive stigma on a pistil inside the ovary.
Outside of the flower are leaves and a thicker part of the stem called a peduncle. Beneath the peduncle is a bunch of sepals, or petals. The sepals look like little green leaves and are a protective layer around the flower bud before it opens.
Stock
The large cup-shaped blooms of stock make it a staple in gardens and floral arrangements alike. Its spicy cinnamon and clove scent fills the air with its fragrance. And, with its long blooming period from spring through summer, it's the perfect addition to your bouquets.
Stocks tolerate full sun, but they do better in light shade. They're also hardy and can survive harsh frosts until they burst into flower again in the spring. They can be sown directly into the garden or planted out as seedlings that have been grown for you at a nursery.
When choosing a location to plant your stocks, keep in mind that they prefer cooler conditions, so they're best planted out before March. Plant them in rich, welldraining soil with a slightly alkaline pH of 7.0 to 7.5. Add compost or rotted manure to the soil to improve its fertility and texture. And remember to water and fertilize regularly. You can also use a product like Garden-tone Organic Plant Food, which is typically used on brassica vegetables, to feed your stocks throughout the growing season.
Alstroemeria
These vibrant flowers are beloved for their cheerful colors and natural charm. They symbolize friendship, enduring bonds, and support and are often given to express appreciation or gratitude. Alstroemerias make ideal gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, or as an expression of sympathy and condolence.
These South American natives do best in USDA hardiness zones 7 to 10, but can be grown as perennial garden plants in colder climates if provided with protection against frost during winter months. They prefer well-drained soil, as their tuberous roots are susceptible to root rot if exposed to excess moisture.
In the garden, alstroemerias are easy to grow and maintain. Their main pest is whiteflies, which suck the plant’s sap, stunting growth and reducing vigor. Regular monitoring and prompt treatment can help keep the pests at bay. Aphids are another common threat to alstroemerias, especially in hotter weather, and should be treated with an appropriate insecticide when found.
Carnations
Carnations (Dianthus caryophyllus) have a rich history as symbols of artistic Gifts for occasion, tradition, and elegance. They are a favorite among chefs for their ability to add texture and subtle flavor to savory dishes, as well as elevate sweet preparations.
Like all perfect flowers, they have functional male and female reproductive structures. The anther produces pollen and the pistil produces ovules. If ripe pollen from the stamen lands on a receptive stigma, a pollen tube grows through the style and combines with an egg cell in the ovary to produce seed.
A variety of carnations cultivars exist, from single-petaled varieties to doublepetaled varieties and even full blown double blooms. Many are color-coded to convey different meanings, such as fascination and distinction or love and affection, depending on their color.

Industry trend|Starting in November, all adult cattle must wear RFID ear tags! This state has just announced the latest regulation
Recently, the Minnesota Animal Commission announced that it will officially implement a new USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service official identification rule on November 5, 2024. The introduction of this rule aims to improve the traceability and disease prevention and control capabilities of livestock by introducing advanced electronic identification (EID) tag technology, namely RFID tags, and further promote the sustainable development of animal husbandry.
It is understood that the implementation background of the new rule stems from the continued attention of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to improve the traceability of livestock. In order to prevent the outbreak and spread of animal diseases, APHIS has formulated a series of new regulations requiring the use of RFID tags to mark specific types of cattle. These cattle include unsterilized cattle and bison aged 18 months and above, all dairy cows, and cattle used for exhibitions, rodeos and entertainment activities.

It is understood that the implementation background of the new rule stems from the continued attention of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to improve the traceability of livestock. These cattle include unsterilized cattle and bison aged 18 months and above, all dairy cows, and cattle used for exhibitions, rodeos and entertainment activities.
However, the implementation of the new rules also requires farmers to pay attention to some matters. First, farmers need to ensure that the RFID tags used meet the approval requirements of APHIS and are worn on cattle in the prescribed time and manner. Second, the animal information stored in the RFID tags needs to be properly protected to prevent leakage and abuse. In addition, for cattle that have already worn official tags with only visual identification marks, producers may not need to re-attach electronically readable tags to the animal before the specified effective date. However, this transition arrangement may vary depending on the region and specific circumstances, and farmers need to pay close attention to relevant notices and regulations.
The Minnesota Animal Commission said that the implementation of the new rules will help improve the traceability and disease prevention and control capabilities of livestock, and provide strong guarantees for the sustainable development of animal husbandry. At the same time, the commission will also strengthen guidance and training for farmers to ensure that they can adapt to the requirements of the new rules and operate in compliance. Farmers should also actively respond to this initiative, strengthen self-management and supervision, and jointly promote the healthy development of animal husbandry.

How Organic Honey is Produced: A Journey from Hive to Jar
Organic honey, revered for its natural sweetness and potential health benefits, undergoes a fascinating journey from the hive to the jar. This process involves meticulous care, sustainable practices, and a deep respect for the environment and the bees that produce it. Understanding this journey helps consumers appreciate the craftsmanship behind organic honey and the importance of choosing sustainably sourced products.
1. The Importance of Organic Beekeeping
Organic honey production starts with organic beekeeping, which emphasizes environmentally friendly practices. Organic beekeepers prioritize the health and welfare of their bees, ensuring they thrive in a natural habitat free from harmful chemicals and pesticides. This approach is vital not only for the bees but also for the quality of the honey produced.
To be certified organic, beekeepers must follow strict guidelines established by regulatory bodies, such as the USDA in the United States or the Soil Association in the UK. These regulations include:
No synthetic pesticides or herbicides: Organic beekeepers avoid using harmful chemicals that can disrupt the bees' natural behavior and health.
Organic foraging areas: Bees must be foraging in areas free from non-organic agricultural practices, ensuring the nectar they collect is free from chemicals.
Sustainable practices: This includes responsible hive management, such as regular monitoring of bee health, preventing overharvesting, and ensuring bees have access to sufficient food sources.
2. Setting Up the Hive
The journey of organic honey begins with the establishment of the beehive. Beekeepers carefully select the location of the hives to provide the bees with access to diverse flowering plants, which is crucial for nectar and pollen collection. The hives are typically made of wood and designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the bees.
Each hive is populated by a colony, consisting of a queen bee, worker bees, and drones. The queen is responsible for laying eggs, while worker bees perform various tasks, including foraging for nectar, caring for the young, and maintaining the hive's cleanliness. Drones are male bees whose primary role is to mate with the queen.
3. Foraging and Nectar Collection
As spring arrives, flowers bloom, providing bees with abundant sources of nectar. Worker bees leave the hive to collect nectar, which they store in their honey stomachs. During this process, bees also gather pollen, which is essential for feeding the brood (larvae and pupae).
Once a bee returns to the hive, it transfers the nectar to other worker bees through a process called trophallaxis. This involves regurgitating the nectar, which the receiving bee then processes by mixing it with enzymes. This enzymatic action begins the transformation of nectar into honey.
4. Honey Production Inside the Hive
The transformation of nectar into honey is a fascinating biochemical process. Once the nectar has been processed and partially digested by the bees, it is deposited into hexagon-shaped beeswax cells within the hive. To reduce the moisture content and create the thick consistency of honey, the bees fan their wings, creating airflow that evaporates excess water.
The honey is ready for storage when its moisture content drops below 18%. At this point, the bees seal the honeycomb cells with a thin layer of beeswax, preserving the honey for future use. This sealed honey can last for years, showcasing the bees’ remarkable ability to create a natural preservative.
5. Harvesting Organic Honey
Harvesting organic honey requires careful timing and gentle handling to ensure minimal disruption to the bees. Beekeepers typically wait until late summer or early fall, allowing the bees to fully stockpile their honey reserves. Once the honeycomb cells are capped with beeswax, it’s time for harvest.
Beekeepers use a variety of tools to collect honey. They may employ a smoker, which emits smoke to calm the bees, making them less likely to become defensive. After gently removing the frames filled with honeycomb from the hive, beekeepers extract the honey using an extractor, which spins the frames to force the honey out without damaging the comb.
6. Filtering and Bottling
Once extracted, the honey goes through a filtration process to remove any impurities, such as wax particles, pollen, and bee parts. Organic honey is often minimally processed to retain its natural properties and health benefits, which is why many organic honey producers avoid excessive filtering or heating.
After filtration, the honey is ready for bottling. This stage can include various packaging options, but glass jars are popular among organic honey producers for their sustainability and ability to preserve the honey's quality.
7. Quality Control and Certification
Before organic honey reaches the market, it undergoes quality control checks to ensure it meets the standards set by organic certification organizations. This process includes testing for purity, moisture content, and the absence of pesticides or contaminants. Only honey that passes these rigorous checks can be labeled as organic.
8. From Hive to Jar: The Final Product
The final product is a jar of organic honey that reflects the unique flora of the region, the care of the beekeeper, and the hard work of the bees. Organic honey can vary in flavor, color, and aroma, depending on the nectar source, making each jar a unique representation of its environment.
In conclusion, the journey of organic honey from hive to jar is a testament to the intricate relationship between bees, the environment, and sustainable farming practices. By choosing organic honey, consumers not only enjoy a delicious and nutritious product but also support the health of bee populations and the preservation of ecosystems. Understanding this journey fosters a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind organic honey and encourages more people to make conscious choices about their food sources.
