I started my career in video games as a game tester and I have to wonder if my eventual obsessive list-making was already in here or if this early experience in sorting and managing lists of bugs was more foundational than I realized.
#if you love lists hoo boy you'll love game testing#other software business has automated testing that wrestles the process away from humans#but video games require a human touch and human eyeballs looking through hundreds and thousands of bugs in a database#I'm sure AI will eventually rob us of even this simple pleasure#anyway there's some career advice for my list people#video games#careers#lists
