Cutting the scene that explains ressurrections in the setting from the anime did incalculable damage not only to the worldbuilding but to the whole reason Shuro was pissed off at Laios and the party's flippancy at using dark magic to bring Falin back.

#Dungeon Meshi #Toshiro Nakamoto #Falin Touden #dunmeshi animr is crazy good but there have been some omissions that make me scratch my mf head #also like #Toshiro isn't one of my faves but the takes I'm seeing about him are making me go TOSHIRO GET BEHIND ME #also also I feel like a lot of the posts going 'he would never do the same thing as Marcille did for her' kinda ignore that uh #the entire reason Kabru was able to defuse Shuro's initial rage at Laios was to point out that Shuro would totally do the same thing #I don't ship them but ya know #downplaying the danger Marci put Falin's soul in kinda removes some of Farcille's sexiness #like she was Desperate desperate to bring Falin back #and cutting that scene removed that context somewhat
