#Man. If this had happened 2 years or 1 and a half years ago - I'd be absolutely BUZZING about that OC/DG interaction#I'd probably write a fic about it. Maybe more than one! Maybe it would become my new go-to pairing and I'd go HAM on it#And I'd have sooooooo much fun exploring this dynamic and coming up with silly goofball ideas for fics#But alas I just don't think I have it in me to care about AEW anymore. Like...at all#Tony's terrible booking has worn through all my patience and I'm all out of fucks to give#Especially when I know that all this is gonna amount to for those two (and all the younger and/or homegrown talent in AEW rn)#Is yet another shitty Moxley wankfest of a match#Where he makes his opponent look like absolute shit no sells all their offence kicks out of their finishers a hundred times#And then beats them super easily. Followed by a typical AEW-branded loooooooooooong uninterrupted heel promo#Where he goes on and on about how much all the younger homegrown talent fucking suck LOLOLOLOL!!#And to be clear - I take no joy in hating what AEW is nowadays#It is PAINFUL to see something I used to enjoy something that made me so happy but now just frustrates and disappoints me to no end#Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh#TLDR - Wrestling bad. Make Sam sad 🙁#I promise I'll get over this and stop bitching at the end of the month when Veilguard comes out#Unless that game sucks too in which case...God help us all...
