I didn't imagine much in terms of what I did with my f/os this year, mainly because I wanted to take it easy. I did think of holding their hand while alone with them and visiting beautiful scenic places with tons of flowers. But that's the most exciting thing.

I did think of gifts for sure though! I narrowed it down to two gift givers for the sake of length 🌼

Besides the potted plant of a surprise species that he gives me every year, Tighnari gave me a neatly wrapped gift box with a sunflower journal inside that I could use for field notes, and a well made magnifying glass with sunflower details on the wooden handle. His whole academic journey started with a magnifying glass, so he wanted to give me one too. He told me that he was looking forward to reading my field notes and observations~

Heizou cooked tofu katsudon for me. It was SO good. Honestly, I don't know how he made it taste like that. And after giving me such a delicious lunch, he gave me the gift of a fude pen set and ink — the same one he uses. He noticed that I had a collection of oblique and straight pen holders with nibs, and simple fountain pens but nothing from Inazuma. And his intuition told him that would be the perfect gift. He did give me a sakura scented ink though. Maybe that will bring back memories of Inazuma, and the sakura branch he held that day~
