Welcome to Giygas' Special Hell . . .

Welcome! This is an Earthbound/Mother AU Ask Blog and Art Archive based on @minish-mae's fic Everlasting Night! You can read the original fic from 2019 here! If you want to read the updated, 2021 version, click here! Chapters are being uploaded periodically, so be sure to check back every so often.

This Ask Blog will follow the stories of characters mentioned within the story. Major characters being Ness, Lucas, Claus, and Ninten. This AU will also contain Nesscas and Clausten content! If that isn't something you're interested in, it may be wise to not read the fic or participate in the ask blog.

ABOUT THE AU:

Everlasting Night is an apocalypse AU based on Buzz Buzz's prophecy at the beginning of Earthbound. Ness and his friends failed to stop Giygas, and the embodiment of evil spread across the world, causing the world to become drenched in darkness. The moon and the stars have vanished, seasons never change, time never moves forward, and Giygas' evil presence has infected animals and people in this world. His influence has made people for malicious and evil and animals rabid and bloodthirsty.

Ninten was flashed ten years into the future when the world went dark, and he lost his friends in the process. Fassad takes him into his camp at Fourside.

Lucas and Claus were pulled from their own world and forcefully shoved into Ness's world. Their mother died shortly after arriving, and Flint and the other Tazmilians made a camp in this new world.

Ness failed his mission to stop Giygas, and now he's spent the last three years searching for Paula, Jeff, Poo and his family.

When the boys come together, they'll have to help each other search for their loved ones, and figure out a way to bring the sun back and end this everlasting night.

RULES:

- This blog follows the events that are currently happening within the Everlasting Night Remake fic! Though the original story has concluded, asks should be focused on the main story and relevance of the latest chapters!

- M!As are allowed to an extent! Characters can't come and go to different dimensions as they please, but feel free to get creative with any M!A's you may have in mind! M!A's will be restricted to 3 posts per ask. (Short, one post cameos of your characters interacting with the EN crew is fine though!!)

- Minor characters can also be asked questions! This includes, but not limited to: Paula, Jeff, Poo, Fassad, Pokey and Picky, and the Tazmily Camp characters!

- Please no NSFW asks! Though the fic is for a mature (17+) audience and there can be mature themes in said fic, please remember that the main characters are still children. Any sexual or fetish/kink related questions will be completely ignored, even for adult characters.
