#The two electric ovens we've had since then have been terrible

I'm so happy!! We replaced our oven and the new one is so. much. better!!
I had so much trouble getting things to brown properly in the previous oven. It was so, so frustrating, especially with bread. It would be cooked through but looked pale af and wouldn't get that nice crisp around the outside. It was disappointing. So disappointing, in fact, that I stopped baking for the most part because they'd never come out right. I know I can bake well, so to have everything come out subpar no matter what I did was really discouraging.
We had the opportunity to replace the old oven and I jumped at it. We like cooking and baking enough that having something that actually works the way it's supposed to is kind of important.
I just baked a pulla wreath in the new oven and it turned out exactly like the recipe photo. Beautiful. ๐ญ
The last two times I tried it (both over two years ago, I think) the bread was just barely starting to develop color by the time it hit 200F internally. At that point I could either take it out and have moist bread that didn't look that great and didn't have a nice crisp on the outside (result: meh), or leave it in to brown longer and end up with a dry result (result: never browned properly AND dry).
No idea why the previous oven performed so poorly. But the new one is perfect and lovely and I love it so much.
#Same brand#This one's a convection oven but I didn't even use the convection option on this bake#And it still turned out perfectly#I had a gas oven I loved about a decade ago and it baked perfectly#The two electric ovens we've had since then have been terrible#But this one... Ohhh my lovely ๐
