I hear a lot of people talk about the SA in the show, some of which used for gags. But I've only seen it talked about with the girl characters. Yagi gets mobbed by fangirls in the movie and kissed, unknown if consensual or not? (I see it as SA personally) Only heard it talked about three times in the past 4 years I've been in this fandom! I feel like if he were younger and not a guy, it'd probably be brought up more, considering other sa gags in the series get brought up.

Sure he's been seen letting people touch him in the first few episodes, but still, I'm giving the gag a more serious thought. I'd imagine that after having it happen for so long, he'd be more used to it and allow the touches (whilst feeling discomfort inside), which... Doesn't make it right. This is for me and the... 3 others who think of this scene in a more negative way, aha 😅

Twinkling Watermelon Live Blogging

Came across some Tiktoks (I think the first one showed up on my FYP on my phone) about a deaf girl in school being tripped by a group of girls and a girl being nice to her and with a guy who's yelling at her for making fun of him but her not understand but then !! I found this Tiktok in the tags which has characters from this series and My Perfect Stranger who time travelled back in time to when their parents were teens! Not only that, the main guy in this is the son from 18 Again (aside: I've been Obsessed with this OST again for the past week this January), which this show kinda reminds me of even though that one had the parent turning young in current timeline rather than time travel. Then I realized that it's actually a really hyped show that everybody seems to be watching.

Anyway, been a long time since I watched a full-length kdrama that's not a rewatch (From Now On, Showtime! in June 2023), so I hope I love it. Again, bad timing because busy with school but the thing is, it's nearly always bad timing, so here it goes I guess.

The secondary guy and the cello girl are both annoying right now but I assume they'll both grow, get better, etc. like firstly my guy why are you following around and stalking this girl T.T if he wasn't so overwhelmingly charming/endearing and we weren't seeing his side, it'd come off much creepier. and she's obviously like being forced to be in a strict schedule because of her family or whatever (wearing the pink dress while longingly looking at the black one lol) and she'll stop being the "ice queen" as time goes on, but idk I feel like there are characters who are kinda snobby but makes you like them regardless, whereas she's not quite hitting that for me

Possibly a (coded?) convo between Eun Gyeol and Yi Chan about the time travel and the cassette or whatever. Maybe I should see if there's anything on AO3 for this because this seems more fanfiction's lane. I think I'm also okay that they don't quite seem to remember him except verrry hazy possibilities but the dad finding the voice tape is what's making me want more. At least Eun Yoo knows and is with Eun Gyeol in this not-quite-right world

Time Travel Concept:

I guess something that's weird about time travel shows is that Eun Gyeol (and Eun Yoo) are the same people before going but with certain experiences (over the course of a couple weeks) whereas the people they have come back to have had different experiences for 28 years.

I wish they weren't famous as a family in the future. I'm glad they still had friends and I'm happy that they had money from Cheong Ah's side but... idk they're just different people when you're this rich and this influential and this famous. I wish they lived in a different house by themselves, even if a big rich people one, and that Chung Ah still did art and maybe Yi Chan could've participated in the Jinseng Instrument stuff but had his main job be something else, whether it be the restaurant or something else. There could be some influence allowed, like Chung Ah is a chaebol and a respected artist, Yi Chan somehow did smth similar to now but on a smaller scale, and Eun Gyeol as an up-and-coming band member who is recognized somewhat but not as famous to be chased down the street by a hoard of school girls.

Anyway, in the end, I'm glad Yi Chan didn't keep his hearing because in the show, it would've kind of undermined tings. Things happen, accidents happen, Yi Chan losing his hearing isn't the end of the world, he still deserves love and family and oppurtunity and for the world to accommodate his needs. The way he lost it was also good because despite Eun Gyeol's attempts, it happened that day and to save Eun Gyeol. Eun Gyeol's stint didn't change this specific aspect but it still changed a lot of things in a good way, leading to his new life in the future.

I just have to get used to these things in time-travelling shows where some people know about the magic while others don't, situations and people will be changed due to butterfly effect, etc. I guess I'm just unsettled by the fact that they have memories that Eun Gyeol does not and Eun Gyeol has ones they do not; that Eun Gyeol would've learned the guitar from somebody who is not Viva Music grandpa probably, etc. I'm trying to become less unsettled by the fact that they don't really remember Eun Gyeol because of magic and time logic or whatever and that they simply feel familiar to him.

As I was writing all this, I keep listening to You're Precious and My Song from the OST and ahh the You're Precious chorus really gets to me, feels like crying I don't get it the "ohhhh my love" literally brings tears to my eyes it has happened like 3 times now. and My Song is just so good in general.

General:

In 18 Again, the father wanted to pursue basketball after high school but had to give up due to teenage pregnancy and the kids and came back to his teen self where (among many other things) he got to play basketball in high school with his son. In this show, the father wanted to pursue music but lost his hearing and had to give that up but his son came to the past and got the chance to play in a band with his father and got to do the school festival he originally didn't get to do.

I'm fucking obsessed with this sort of concept.

It's got a good storyline, hilarious yet touching. Light-hearted but with many moments of weight. Entertaining to watch because why did I watch eps 13 and 14 and one of the earlier eps (2?) in bed on my iPad. We got to spend time with the different characters and pairs and the friend group together and it was vry fun.

There could be many pitfalls with the time traveling and the disability rep. I won't say there aren't any because some of the time loop stuff is kinda wonky if you look closely but I think that makes sense. I was really afraid that they'd make Yi Chan's hearing come back but I'm glad it didn't; it's just something that has to happen to him for no reason the way these things just happen sometimes.

The characters were well crafted and the acting was great. I liked all of them and each had moments of humour or emotions or romance and it was good.

Also, good faces sorry to say I'm shallow. Chung Ah gorgeous, gorgeous girl. I didn't find Se Kyeong attractive but the actress is sooo beautiful and charming as Eun Yoo (I know some people found her somewhat annoying but I liked her a lot). Ryeoun was really attractive as Eun Gyeol; when I first saw him in 18 Again, he was more posed as a loser kid and I was wowed by Lee Dohyun's face but here, he's so pretty and nice to look at and at certain angles, reminded me of Cha Eunwoo's face too (and a comment in this specific tiktok makes me think that it's not because I only know like 5 actors and so draw parallels between him and CEW lol). Then there were some other good faces too like Yi Chan sooo cute and round my pretty + the Kang Hyeon Yool guy was beautiful as well.

Kinda slow paced, there were certain episodes where I was like nothing really happened and we weren't closer to completing missions or finding out info but I guess that's the point of the slice of life aspect in some cases; just watching the characters exist alone and together.

Ships: I think I liked Chung Ah & Yi Chan more earlier on while I liked Eun Gyeol and Eun Yoo more later on. I was into the ChCh romance from the get-go and thought they were sooo cute whereas EunEun were a more fun menace pair who I just liked to watch fighting before it gradually became a couple I shipped Very Much. Also a shoutout to my Se Kyeong (OG, not Eun Yoo) and Chung Ah ship, I can't believe Se Kyeong's first love was her husband instead of Chung Ah (cold ice princess girl who is curbing every guy as they fall at her feet keeps chasing the girl who isolates herself to protect herself. Se Keyong asking about the Frida Kahlo painting and trying to bond over bands despite not liking it herself).

Well crafted show, good acting, hit some feels and I expect some attachment to it (I'm rewatching and skimming certain parts as I write lol).

Rating: 7.5/10 for now, could change 0.5 higher or lower in like a month as I assess my feelings

Well... to start things off this was a heck of a project and represents a lot of firsts for me. I believe this is my first ever sequential piece, and I even did it in CSP! Learning how to find my way around the UI probably contributed to this taking as long as it did, to say nothing of the weird workarounds I took to export the pages correctly, but I'm pretty happy with the results. Although, I have definitely come to the conclusion that I'm not really cut out for sequential stuff in general - and my admiration of Those Who Are has only increased T.T

So - I first thought of this sometime around the time I was fixing up my Desperate Revival redraw. [guiltily] You didn't hear it from me, but this is also... technically... a Desperate Revival piece... with some OVA 9 flavor.

OVA 9 is all about Shinichi hallucinating the Bad End to DC. When exactly the visions start is left up in the air, but they begin sometime after consuming the antidote and last right up until the moment he reverts back to Conan-- or perhaps even a few minutes afterwards (having already shrunk when he regains useful consciousness). According to Haibara, he becomes Shinichi for only a short time and is never actually awake for it, instead suffering at the hands of some phantom punishment until the antidote wears off.

I know the OVAs are not canon, but I also don't believe this turn of events to be outside the realm of general possibility, given the process of regrowing and shrinking is never really shown outright. Fading to black, so to speak, is obviously just more of a practical choice but it offers ambiguity and something to play with. It's not unheard of for people to experience fever-induced hallucinations, or to claim to see things whilst in severe pain - and these transformations are nothing if not implied to be extremely painful, so much so that (at least the first few times) the trauma causes Shinichi to faint. So... I wondered... does this-- the visions-- ever happen again? Has it happened before without us knowing it?

I would argue the end of Shinichi's tenure in The Desperate Revival is also his worst, because unlike The Diplomat Murder Case the "return to normalcy" here was completely expected, the notion of which is only reinforced after being bamboozled into thinking it was actually permanent (when he faints, but awakens as Shinichi, still). When the antidote finally starts wearing off, although without the energy to be outwardly desperate, he's probably so distraught and stricken by the imagery of Conan in the mirror, no I won't ever shut up about these two seconds ever that... surely... he could have hallucinated something in those few, brief moments... while begging for an extension of his time...?

Task: Wiped down kitchen counters and started dinner.

I'm gonna ramble forever about my dnd campaign but my favorite Dorym moment is probably a three-way tie between "there are no debts between us", "you have something in your hair", and Orym with the sending stone when Dorian came back. T.T

Now, for MY campaign... (I get in my feels a bit woops)

Right now, we're a party of three with my half-elf monk (Kyssarda), a tiefling paladin/warlock, and a triton bard. We just spent like, a month in the Underdark which was BRUTAL, but had fantastic character development for all of us I think. The path to get to the Underdark (which we went to with the intention of rescuing a friend) involved going to this country we hadn't been to before.

I've been using Kyssarda to sort of explore internalized issues in some ways, mostly internalized homophobia (saying this as a queer woman) by putting some emotional emphasis on her coming to understand that she is the direct result of a love (between her parents) that at least parts of society deemed taboo and bad (because her father's lineage would not have approved of him marrying a human). She also feels like she can't share this aspect of her identity freely with the party, because the party member she felt closest to (the elven rogue) has been super prejudiced against the country her father is from (because of backstory.... it's a tangled web).

BUT ANYWAY we come out of the Underdark after like, a month. Kyssarda lost an arm and gained a scar. Our paladin/warlock changed alignments and then changed back after what has been probably my fave RP I've ever done. Other trauma was had that I won't get into. It's been a rough time for everybody. And we emerge and suddenly.... the country her father is from got overthrown, and the tyrranical rule is no longer in effect.

Which leads to her having a lot of mixed but very strong emotions. Because on one hand, that's great! If only her father could see it now! But also.... if only her father could see it, period, and she still carries the sort of trauma of knowing her father's love for her mother was seen as this terrible, dirty thing for so long, and she is a proud product of that.

So overwhelmed and needing someone to talk to, she DID tell her secret to the paladin and it was such a good moment. Oof. But she made him promise not to tell the rogue who we are currently about to meet up with (played by the player as the triton bard). Paladin promised, but also encouraged her to tell him. I don't think it's going to happen soon, but it's bound to happen eventually.

I'm really excited though because of what I explained above and also other trauma-related things that I haven't gotten to explain fully (or this would be a novel probably haha), Kyssarda's going to multiclass into barbarian soon. She's a character that hasn't gotten to acknowledge the pain and anger that is justified in her backstory and throughout the campaign, and I'm excited to explore the ways anger can be a catharsis and good even. That it doesn't have to be something buried and forgotten, like she has been doing for so long. I think my party knows its coming, because I've been planting seeds of outbursts of anger slowly but surely, and they keep making jokes/comments about her multiclassing.

All right, this is going to be less a master list, more a “things I can think of off the top of my head,” but here it is.

The Non-Definitive List of Rachel/Tobias Milestones:

First crush: #1.  It’s hard to say how much is going on in the background of their first mission, because Jake is a clueless duffer who needs Cassie to explain romance to him and because Jake takes forever to wrap his head around the fact that Rachel is capable of having crushes on boys.  But we know that Rachel is looking at Tobias when she agrees to let the boys walk her and Cassie home, and we know that Rachel immediately jumps to Tobias’s defense when he and Marco start arguing.  Rachel is the most worried about Tobias when the others lose sight of him during that first battle, and the fastest to consider Tobias a part of the group.

Unresolved romantic tension: #3.  Tobias knows he has a thing for Rachel as of this book.  He knows, and he’s not ever planning on doing a dang thing about it, because he’s a bird and she’s a human.  They smash up car commercials together, they hunt for yeerk ships together, and they fly all over town together, but he’s pretty sure they’re going nowhere relationship-wise.  And then Rachel, in the middle of half-drowning in the truck ship’s water tank, starts to say what she needs to say before she dies.  She stays in morph longer than any of the others specifically so that she and Tobias can have this last moment alone.  And Tobias’s response to her near-confession is to grab a dracon beam and go take on an entire yeerk fleet alone.

Acknowledging their feelings: #7.  When the Ellimist comes with his offer, Jake and Marco focus on saving their families, Ax and Cassie go full environmentalist... and Rachel and Tobias are pissed.  Tobias figures out instantly that he’s only there as a human because the Ellimist wants to manipulate Rachel’s emotions through dangling the possibility of de-nothliting her honey-pie in front of her face.  Rachel’s pissed on Tobias’s behalf, Tobias on Rachel’s behalf, and the Ellimist is just deeply amused.

Resolving romantic tension: #12.  When Rachel doesn’t know what to do about the crocodile thing, she goes to Tobias.  When Tobias sees Rachel and Jake headed for another fight, he undercuts it so that Rachel wins.  They banter about Superman and Xena having kids together.  They jerk Marco around together.  They’re a couple already, even if they’ve never even held hands.

First couples’ fight: MM2.  They’re both tired and hungry and injured, to give credit where it’s due, and they’re entitled to get snippy with each other.  It’s also worth noting that they resolve their spat in a pretty healthy way — Tobias acknowledges that he underestimated how hard it would be to control the deinonychus morph, Rachel acknowledges that she underestimated how dangerous the deinonychuses would be, they both acknowledge that they’re not at their best and need to drop the subject until they’re in a better mood.  It’s also when Rachel recognizes that Tobias isn’t, fundamentally, a mere human: she doesn’t reach him through the dino instincts until she pivots from descriptions of fingers and toes and instead reminds him of flying.

Healthiest moment: #23.  Yes, a matter of opinion, but I love how supportive Rachel is toward Tobias throughout this whole book.  She’s quick to reassure him that she doesn’t think it’s weird to eat roadkill, and equally quick to drop the subject when he wants to.  Whatever Tobias needs, from a sympathetic ear to a killer grizzly, she’s happy to help him through this difficult time.

Labeling the relationship: #27.  Bless T.T. and his stupid little 1990s So Cal name.  It takes T.T.’s dimples and his smooth-talking and his sheer ordinariness for Rachel to realize that she doesn’t want dimples or smooth-talking or ordinariness.  She wants the kind of guy who is terrified of water but will become a sperm whale to keep her safe.  She wants a “mouse-eating freak,” because she’s a squid-eating freak herself.  She wants someone around whom she can be ugly, can be vulnerable, can be scared, can be herself.  Also, I love that moment with Tobias commenting that T.T. is “pretty cute, and perceptive too” after T.T. says something unrepeatable about Rachel’s violent tendencies and sense of propriety.

First kiss: MM3.  It’s the moment just after Rachel was “killed” by a cannonball aboard the Trafalager and then pops back up in the middle of Princeton University’s campus.  Tobias runs and grabs her, she smooches him, Marco asks if he can have a kiss as well, the racist dude that Cassie was in the middle of intimidating cries on the floor.  It’s all very romantic.

The L Word: #32.  The whole book is about Rachel learning to reconcile the different sides of herself, but a big part of it is her realizing that Tobias has gone through many of the same struggles.  Tobias knows she’s a killer, and he’s a killer too.  Tobias knows she’s a frightened softie at heart, and he is one too.  Tobias’s entire life has been about him trying to stick together disparate pieces of himself, which is why Tobias is the only thing Mean Rachel and Nice Rachel can agree upon, and it’s why Tobias is the only one whom Rachel wants to see after it’s all over.

Best “battle couple” moment: #36.  A matter of opinion, of course, but I love the moment that the yeerk submarine starts to come apart and Rachel bodily wraps herself around Tobias to protect him.  Honestly the whole motif of them pairing up their battle morphs — hawk-Tobias compensating for bear-Rachel’s major weakness through acting as her eyes and ears, bear-Rachel compensating for hawk-Tobias’s relative delicacy through being the tank of the team — does my heart good.  But I have an extra-large soft spot for this moment because when the shit hits the fan, Rachel’s immediate reaction is to throw her entire body between Tobias and danger.

Picking out furniture: #49.  Yes, Rachel is joking when she tells Tobias that they need to get patio furniture for his meadow, but it’s also an affirmation that they both view this as a long-term thing they’ve got going.  She wants them to have a place together, even if it is a random clearing in the woods with a deeply suspicious number of lounge chairs.

First date: ???  Arguably, Rachel and Tobias never go on a single actual date-date, and I think that’s a lot of the beauty of their utterly unique relationship.  Ones that could count:

Destroying a car commercial in #3.  Although there are hints in #2 that Rachel goes flying alone with Tobias sometimes, this is the first time we actually see them doing something for fun together.

Running around as hork-bajir in #13.  It’s the first time they go on a mission as a couple, the first time they really consider the possibility that they could have a relationship now that Tobias can morph, and the first instance of them using “paired” morphs together.

Tobias’s birthday in #23.  If “date” means sharing a meal together, then by gum Rachel baking an entire cake for Tobias and then having the world’s strangest conversation about his family history while they sit on the floor of her room and eat with their hands has got to count.

The school dance in #29.  This is the first time (that we know of) where they go to a public human gathering as a formal couple.

The opening sequence of #33.  This moment canonically makes “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls their song, and it involves the first real conversation about their future as a couple.

The ending sequence of #33.  EVERYTHING HURTS AND NOTHING IS OKAY at the end of this book, but it also involves them doing human-stuff like hugging and hanging out on the beach followed by them doing raptor-stuff like flying around together, because everyone but especially Rachel is trying to do whatever Tobias needs right then.  It’s also the most emotionally raw moment between them, but one they get through together.

Watching Felicity together in #35.  I love this moment, not in the least because Rachel and Tobias are both like “how dare you interrupt our soap opera with yeerks, Marco?” and it hints at what they’ve been up to in the background of the books they don’t narrate.  It’s also canon that Rachel doesn’t have a TV in her room, so that suggests that human-Tobias and human-Rachel were sacked out on her couch together, possibly while Naomi glared disapprovingly from the door to the kitchen.

Having burgers in #49.  Rachel bringing Tobias McDonald’s is actually the first time they label one of their own meetups as being a date, for what it’s worth.

Most painful moment: #54, duh.  For me it’s a three-way tie between Tobias guiding Rachel through her last battle after she’s blinded by snake venom, Rachel and Tobias both taking on human morph so that they can say goodbye to each other THROUGH A VIEWSCREEN, and Tobias stealing the urn with Rachel’s ashes because he wants her to have a memorial her way.  Ugggghh why do these children wound me so.

Jungkook was blind fury and rage, seeking those that'd dare harm what was his. He stalked through the halls, all caution thrown to the wayside as he mowed down body after body heading his way. It wasn’t the infected he was looking for though. 

“SEO EUN KWANG!!!” Jungkook’s voice rang through the hotel lobby, echoing in the empty expanse as he stopped in the center of the empty space to stare around.

“You know Boss…” A condescending voice drew his attention to the check in desk, “I never really wanted things to go down like this…”

Jungkook drew his gun to center mass, face a mask of emotionless disinterest at the man’s words. “Minhyuk and Sungjae are dead.” He growled the words out, vision tinted red at the corners as he watched Eun Kwang sigh and shake his head.

“I told them to take the night off. They weren’t even supposed to be at the warehouse. But you know how it is. Balancing out a mutiny with an apocalypse is just never going to go in anyone’s favor.”

“A fucking mutiny? What the hell is this, Pirates of the fucking Caribbean? You betrayed me Eun Kwang. After everything you fucking sell out piece of low end garbage. Not only that, you got HER shot.”

The older man shook his head once more with a laugh, leaning forward to place his elbows on the checkout desk’s high wall and tap at his temple with his gun. “Little dongsaeng, it was always in the cards for this to happen. You were just too blind to see that one little boy from Busan could never handle running the entirety of Daegu. You dreamed big, yeah. But kid, this city was just too big for you.”

“What the fuck are you even talking about?” Jungkook stalked forward, arms never wavering as he sighted the gun right for the center of Eun Kwang’s forehead. “I never wanted to run this whole town. You fuckers put that on me. I just wanted to make enough to get by. Make sure my girl had everything she needed. None of that included taking over a damn thing!”

“Easy there little cowboy. Another step closer and my boys are gonna have to protect me and the last thing I wanna do is end up killing you.” Eun Kwang smirked as Jungkook halted in place, eyes darting around to spot three men stepping from the shadows, each with their guns aimed at him and almost manic grins gracing their faces.

Pain.

Everything was pain and screaming.

“You’ve got to get her to wake up!”

I couldn’t help but to groan, hands reaching out to grab the nearest person as I fought against the pressure held against my outer thigh.

“It hurts...make it stop it hurts!” I whimpered, blurry gaze taking in the worried faces of Seokjin and Yoongi who were working to hold me down. Rose’s face appeared above me, panicked as she shushed me and pressed down on my forehead to keep me still.

We were in a room of some sort, no longer in the hotel kitchen so I couldn’t be sure how long I’d been out cold. Cleaning supplies surrounded us but the pain in my chest and leg kept me from being able to take in any more information as Yoongi had renewed the pressure on the molten mass of ouch that was my thigh.

“Can’t...breath…” I whimpered out.

“Release the straps on her vest. The ceramic plates will have shattered, if she’s got any broken ribs it’s gonna get a lot worse for her.” The voice in my ear crackled to life, startling me as I struggled for a moment to register Jimin’s calm tones whispering in my ear.

Seokjin released my uninjured leg, moving to lift my upper body. The pressure on my chest increased, blinding me for a moment as my lungs decided they didn’t want to work. I stared up at the ceiling, mouth open in a silent scream and tears chasing each other down my cheeks as Jin unzipped my jacket and fumbled to release the straps that’d been holding my tactical vest together.

As the straps released air whooshed into my lungs and I let out a sob of relief, though it didn’t last long as a strange shifting in my chest caused more pain to shoot through me.

“F...fuck…” I coughed, turning my head in Rose’s lap and shutting my eyes as a wave of dizziness rolled over me.

“Alright, once she’s breathing better shift those plates around and strap her back in.” Jimin’s voice came again and I turned my head towards Jin, eyes wide as I shook my head desperately to stop him. But it didn’t matter, and deep down I knew it as Jin pulled the straps tight and snapped them back into place. The pressure was a bit better, but damn did it hurt.

“Yoongi, have you got your silencer barrel on you?”

Yoongi grunted in reply, turning with one hand still holding pressure on my leg as he unscrewed the barrel from his sniper rifle. 

“I’d tell you to fire off a round or two but...not now…”

“I know what you’re gonna say…” Yoongi shifted upwards on his knees, placing the silencer on my chest for a moment and digging into his pocket. His hand reappeared and I watched on in a confused haze of pain and worry.

He nodded to Jin who groaned to himself as he picked up the silencer and held it delicately out to Yoongi. The silent assassin reached out, flicking a lighter and producing a flame that licked at the cold steel of the barrel.

My eyes widened in panic and I began to struggle, knowing deep down exactly what they were about to do.

“Keep her still.” Yoongi growled and Rose rushed to comply.

She grabbed my flailing arms, pinning them down to my sides as she shifted forward to keep a better hold on me.

Me struggling didn’t matter.

The pain no longer mattered.

The...the smell of my own flesh searing didn’t matter.

Only the bliss of one final scream chased closely by unconsciousness.

“Oh god…” Rose retched, losing her grip on the limp woman as Yoongi continued his grim work.

It really took no more than a moment to cauterize the bullet wound. It stretched less than 3 inches along the expanse of her outer thigh, but the blood loss alone would have caused quite an issue later on, not to mention the risk of infection. Yoongi treated the wound as best he could, wrapping it in the remains of the shirt Jungkook had tossed them before they’d locked themselves inside the supply closet of the hotel. 

Seokjin sniffed, covering his nose with the back of his wrist as he stared forlorn down at the cold sweat that glistened from the unconscious form of one of his favorite people. He shook his head, grinding his teeth before tapping the inner earpiece to signal to Jimin they’d finished the work.

The haggard doctor sighed through the communication device. “She should be safe to move. Just try not to jostle her ribs too much. I take it what Yoongi did made her pass out?” 

Rose whimpered, fingernails digging painful crescents into the palms of her hands as she struggled to regain control of the tears flowing down her cheeks. True, she’d been desperate for rescue the moment the news started rambling about people eating each other but...this? This wasn’t what she’d hoped for. She’d never wanted any of them getting hurt.

“I’ll hand things over to Tae, I’ve got to go get the infirmary prepped for when you guys get here. Try not to get hurt in the meantime…”

Yoongi grunted, eyes focused in on the hasty bandages as if waiting for them to bleed through. Taehyung’s voice returned, strained as if he’d been crying though none of them commented on his tone of voice.

“Alright, I’ve got visuals on Boss and Hoseok. The alley looks clear from this angle, along with the side streets that’ll lead you guys back in this direction.” He paused for a moment before continuing. “Boss, I know you want to go after them...but we’ve got to get her back home. Yoongi hyung and Jin hyung could manage it solo but not without risking getting hurt or worse..infected…”

There was a brief moment of silence before Hoseok’s voice crackled over the line. “We’re headed back. Get ready to move out.” 

Yoongi nodded to the two figures either side of him, tucking the silencer barrel into a side pocket on his black cargo pants before handing the rifle itself over to Seokjin.

The trio were silent aside from the occasional sniffle from Rose but eventually they managed to pack as much as they could away, checking to ensure their weapons were all reloaded in the process. 

Yoongi worked gingerly, lifting y/n’s limp form into his arms bridal style and turning to nod to Jin. A single tap to the earpiece and the others were alerted that they were ready to move out and head home.

“Hobi hush. I’ve already told you none of the wounds are life threatening. If you wake the Boss I swear to all the high heavens that I’m blaming it on you and running.”

The whispering voices woke me, a welcome balm to the chaos that had been my nightmares.

Before opening my eyes and alerting them to my consciousness I took a moment to take stock of what I was feeling. The throbbing in my leg had gone away, probably due to whatever medication Jimin had managed to get in me. The weight alone let me know that it’d been treated and wrapped, though the weight in my chest hadn’t eased much.

I groaned, shifting a bit in an attempt to get a bigger breath of air. This got the attention of the two whispering voices which quickly stopped talking followed by the distinctive sound of shuffling bodies. After a moment a small hand slipped around mine, lifting it slightly as Jimin’s voice followed.

“Hey Boss Lady, you waking up?”

I peeled my eyelids open, one at a time before blinking to clear the blur and focusing on the two concerned faces hovering over me.

“Mmm...think I’m awake, though somehow I feel like I should be far more grateful for that stockpile of pain meds you like to keep around.”

Jimin gave me a shaky grin and a sniffle from beside him caught my attention. Lifting my head slightly I caught the sight of a forlorn Hoseok, eyes puffy and the normally sunshine glow of his grin nowhere to be seen. I let go of Jimin’s hand, fingers wiggling to catch Hobi’s attention.

“Hey, I’m here. I’m okay I promise.”

The poor boy whimpered, lower lip sticking out as he grabbed my hand in both of his. Closing his eyes he leaned forward, forehead pressed to my fingers as he sniffled his way out of the tears.

“Don’t...don’t do that to me again Boss Lady. I don’t like it when you get hurt….” 

I shook my head, giving a short laugh that only served to leave my head swimming as whatever was going wrong with my ribs shifted. “Ho...boy…” Releasing Hobi’s hand I arched my back as best I could, inhaling deeply and wincing as something strange popped in my chest.

“Alright now.” Jimin muttered, pushing me back down onto the bed with a frown. “I know it’s hard to breathe, but try not to breathe too deeply. You want those ribs to heal up properly you’re gonna wanna give them a chance to settle back where they belong.” 

I nodded, though relaxing back to where I’d been laying was harder than I wanted. I glanced to my other side, realising that the reason I hadn’t been able to move that hand was because a pair of incredibly toned arms was wrapped around it and a shaggy head of hair was currently pinning it to the bed.

I turned to the other two boys, arching an eyebrow at them in questioning.

“He hasn’t left your side since you all got back. Course...he hasn’t said much either.” Jimin sighed, rubbing his temples to release some of his pent up stress and then carding a hand through his hair. 

“Mmm… how long was I out?”

“Half a day. The Boss only just passed out about an hour ago though…”

I nodded, gaze returning sadly to the softly snoring form beside me. My heart ached for him, even knowing I was the one injured not him. I waved my hand, giving the two boys a soft smile to let them know I’d be alright on my own.

They left, Hobi sniffling the whole way as Jimin softly closed the door behind him. It was better to let Jungkook sleep. Things would run just fine without him for a while.

“I just hated Jihyun for making this whole mess so I just did it, alright?! Happy now?!”, Taehyung’s voice sustained despite the recording having ended.  

“Thank you for giving me the idea of using a recorded confession”, Haejoong smiled at you with that same expression that used to make you feel comforted but now all you wanted was to punch his face in.

It wasn’t only you, Taehyung also had his fist clenched tight to the extent his knuckles were turning white.  

“The moment either of you try to report any of this, just know that I wouldn’t go down alone...”, the sly being tucked his phone back into his pocket, hardly moves a facial muscle before giving you one last nod and eventually sauntering off the hospital porch.

“Don’t you want to know what happened?”, Taehyung asked you apprehensively as both of you sat in a corner of a sparsely patronised café near the hospital.  

Your expression looked angry but your eyes told him that it was more complex than that.  

“Why didn’t you tell me? Can’t believe he thought of threatening you to say those things... and all because of me... I’m such a burden...”, you ranted and Taehyung was astonished, that you never momentarily doubted that him and was even able to figure that much by yourself.  

“Don’t say that! You are not... Nobody would have known that he would go to such lengths. He's crazy, we have to report this to the police”, Taehyung felt indignant that Haejoong made you feel this way about yourself.  

“We will have to report it to the police but he has that damn recording...”, you were biting your fingernails, deep in thought.  

“Should we tell Ms. Helen about this and let her report it?”, Taehyung suggested. 

“That’s equivalent to reporting it, Haejoong will just use that recording...”, you answered with a deepening frown.  

“Let’s face it, Y/N. There’s nothing that can stop him from releasing it...”, Taehyung was getting impatient. He knows he had everything to lose, but he hated this hostage-like situation.  

“No, I won’t let him do that you!”, you raised your voice, annoyed that there seems to be no option.  

Both Taehyung and you could see it. Haejoong will keep gaining the upper hand if you continue to hold each other down like this. It was so unfair, you thought. The ones that have nothing to lose, can always afford to play the dirty game. They only stand to gain.  

That was when your mind suddenly clicked. No, Haejoong has something he can’t lose too... someone.

Taehyung and you sat next to each other nervously gazing at the café door. Finally it rattles and flies open, the person you were keenly waiting for walked warily towards the both of you.  

Taehyung stood up from his seat, “Jihyun...”, he calls her name gently as she approached the table. “Have a seat, do you want a drink?”  

“It’s ok... what do you want?”, Jihyun’s attitude was uncertain as she rejected the drink but still took a seat opposite you.  

You carefully broached the subject, starting from the point when you found out that Haejoong liked her.

“So, now he has a recording of Taehyung ‘confessing’. Jihyun, he is not what he seems, you have to believe us”, it took a good eight minutes before you managed to finish the recap. You were kind of surprised that Jihyun stayed quiet throughout although she did look apprehensive.  

“Y/N, I know I said that I believe that you didn’t do it. But don’t be mistaken. It doesn’t mean I trust that you are on my side. Haejoong was the only one who had comforted me and stood up for me during this time... How can you expect me to take your words about him, when you were not even there with me when I needed it”, she was mostly staring at Taehyung as she expressed her doubts.  

“I tried calling you, I thought you...”, Taehyung attempted to explain.  

“You thought I wouldn’t want to see you? You are not wrong though”, Jihyun sounded exhausted. “Didn’t you say that he likes me? If that’s the case, why would he do that to me?”  

You had no answer.  

“I don’t want this thing to get any bigger than it already is... I just hope it dies down quickly and quietly. That is all I want now. It’s not about the truth anymore. Somehow the world makes me feel that as the victim, finding the culprit, seeking justice, is not my priority”, she sounded utterly drained.  

She stood up to leave and you bolted up from your seat too, “Jihyun...” There was a stillness in the air, you had almost never called her by her name like that.

“Taehyung and Y/N came to look for me this afternoon...”, Jihyun said nervously. Haejoong had just brought her to their comfort food place - a kimchi soup restaurant, which is the only thing she can eat whenever she felt awful, and they are now strolling towards her hostel. His scarf was wrapped around her neck after he adamantly insisted that she wasn’t wearing enough layers.  

Haejoong stopped in the middle of the pavement upon her words and turned to face her.  

"They told me that you were the one who took those photos of me and wanted me to report you...”, Jihyun elaborated, stopping and spinning to look at Haejoong too.  

Haejoong was completely still, his eyes moving unnoticeably, observing all the tiny signs in Jihyun’s features.  

“They say you forced Taehyung to record a confession...”, Jihyun continued.  

“Do you believe them? What is it that you want to hear from me?”, Haejoong replied cautiously.  

“... you are the only friend I have now, so I want to hear you say that it’s not you”, Jihyun mumbled.  

“Will you believe me if I say that it is not me?”, Haejoong asked.

“I will”, she answered, never once averting his eyes.

“It’s not me.”  

A comforted smile slowly spreads across her lips.  

“It can’t be you...”, she whispers, and he was relieved to see that she will take his side. “It cannot be you...”, she uttered, and his expression changes. Yes, it cannot be him, if it were, Jihyun might lose it altogether.

“I was looking for the right time to let you hear the recording... I didn’t want to traumatise you just when things were getting better. Isn’t this like the thief calling someone else the thief? Unbelievable...”, Haejoong was careful that he didn’t appear too keen to explain the situation.  

“They pretend they can understand how I feel after all that has happened. How can they ever understand the feeling... it’s not as if it has happened to any of them”, Jihyun started to tear up.  

“Do you want to hear it? If not, what do you want me to do with the recording?”, Haejoong prodded.  

Jihyun thought for a while and said, “Nothing... delete it.”  

“You want me to delete it? Jihyun, I can’t-”, Haejoong started to resist.  

“I have known Taehyung for years! I've liked him for half that time! What do you want me to say?!”, Jihyun was agitated suddenly. Haejoong just stared at her in shock. But in a matter of seconds, she managed to catch herself again, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have shouted at you. I just want it to be over, Haejoong...”.  

“Do you still like him... Kim Taehyung? Even after all he did to you?”, Haejoong questioned her, his heart never felt heavier than it is now.  

“Have you ever had such a person? Even if they hurt you a lot, and they do all sorts of bad things, you feel like you can’t leave them? Maybe one day he will see that I was the one sticking by his side through it all... maybe then, I stand a chance. If only...”, Jihyun suddenly stopped, and shook her head.  

“If only what?”, Haejoong pressed on.  

“Nothing... I shouldn’t be thinking such things”, Jihyun became tight-lipped.

“If only Y/N never came into the picture?", Haejoong completed her statement.  

The shock in her eyes were evident.

Water was dripping from your hair all over the floor. You undid the bath towel wrapped around your body and flung it over your head, squeezing the moisture from your troublesome hair.  

You walked along the window towards where you had left your clothes hanging off the chair in your dorm. The windows were shut tight and you had drawn the worn-out curtains. Despite all that, your ears perked up when you heard a queer buzzing sound outside your window. You quickly threw on your sweater and slowly peeled open the curtains.  

A dark figure was hovering outside the window, you squinted at it and thanks to the light emitting from the other units you realised that it was a drone pointed right at your window. Right as you identified the foreign object, it started to fly away from you.  

You turned and scanned your room quickly, dashing towards your handphone.

The drone zips through the night sky and to a secluded field not far from the school hostels. Donning a black hoodie, Haejoong looks up at the drone while controlling it with the remote in his hands. As the drone lowers itself, Haejoong spots the silhouette of another object behind it.  

“What’s that?”, he mumbles to himself, furrowing his brows.  

The object came closer towards him and his heart almost stops when he realises it is another drone which had been following his! He quickly lowers his head, trying to hide from it, running to pick up his own drone from where it had landed on the brown lawn.  

The sound was soft, a bit mushy, but he could definitely make out the footsteps approaching from behind him. 

Haejoong stops in his crouched down position. In a split second, he picked up his drone and started sprinting towards the buildings. Just as he was approaching the edge of the grass field, Taehyung dashes out of nowhere and tackles him to the ground.  

The two men were struggling in each other’s holds, Haejoong desperately trying to break free and Taehyung refusing to let go. Haejoong’s drone was crushed between their tangled bodies and in the midst of the tussle, one of the blades on the drone slices across Taehyung’s collar bone.  

Eventually, Haejoong managed to pin Taehyung to the ground and was fiercely shaking off Taehyung’s grasp on his ankles when a second person jumps on him, causing him to fall over. This time the man was much larger than his size and he twisted Haejoong’s arms behind his back, shouting into Haejoong’s ears, “Stop it! You are under suspicions of stalking and sexual harassment. You are required to- cooperate- with our investigations!”, the policeman huffs while working to hold Haejoong down.

You burst through the doors of the police station. Ms. Helen was sitting next to Haejoong and you had the urge to just grab him by the collars and demand all the explanation you deserve but that was not top priority at the moment.  

“Where’s Taehyung?”, was all that you spouted, “Is he at the hospital? Which hospital?”  

“Y/N, I’m here, behind you”, Taehyung shuddered in embarrassment of you making a fuss in the police station.  

“Oh my gosh!”, you exclaimed when you saw his white knitted sweater covered in blood stains. You ran towards him, with fear and worry written all over your face. Seeing your reaction, Taehyung quickly revealed the bandage on his collar bone, “I’m ok I’m ok, it’s just a minor cut, they already fixed me up here.”  

That assured you not to worry about him but the fury did not die down and you immediately turned to lunge yourself at Haejoong. Helen threw herself between you and your nemesis, throwing her arms up to prevent you from exacerbating the situation.

“Y/N, that’s enough!”, she chided and luckily Taehyung ran over to drag you away.  

No matter how much the police questioned him, Haejoong remained silent and denied everything.  

“Mr. Im, the implications here are pretty obvious, wouldn’t you agree? We set up a net to catch the fish. If you aren’t the fish, why did you fall into the net?”, the inspector was pretty patient.  

“If you go around setting random nets, you are bound to catch things that are not fishes”, Haejoong replied defiantly, his words still sparse.  

“Well it was a pretty specific net, after all we used the victim as the bait to set it up...”, the inspector casually commented.  

Haejoong scoffed, “the victim?”, he turned to glance at you, and Taehyung’s feathers were vehemently ruffled again. “Are you sure this alleged victim knows enough to help you set up a net? You have got the wrong person, officer... she’s just trying to-”

“Oh no no, she’s not the victim I’m talking about”, the policeman cut Haejoong off.  

Silence ensued as Haejoong processes the assertion. Then who is this ‘victim’ they speak of?  

The door opens again, wind howling as it did.  

“Ah Ms. Kim, sorry to make you come all the way, this late at night”, the inspector greeted.  

You always felt that there was a kind of eeriness to the silence that came abruptly after a loud sound. That moment an explosion subsides, that sound which is quieter than silence itself.  

This was that moment.  

“A sound of something breaking A sound full of unfamiliarity”

He always had the same disposition. It always felt familiar. But that was just a mask he wore. Now you see it, the truth of him, the unfamiliar reflection of his soul. As he looked at Jihyun entering the dusty room, it was alive in his eyes. The vengeance that he hold, the indignation that he suffer and most importantly, the hurt that he never once imagined she would bring to him.

so, TUA s2 thoughts

I haven’t actually finished it but I’ve got the gist of it lol

I finished it this afternoon! Whoo!

Spoilers under the cut.

So I had a few Big Fears going in. And none of them eventuated. WHOO. Or didn’t eventuate in the ways I was most concerned about.

1. I was scared they’d give Reginald a Redemption Arc TM. They did not. Thank god.

2. I was scared that the sibling interactions would suck. They did not! They were amazing. Glorious. I had to rewind so many to just truly savour them.

3. I was worried about Lila. I mean, she “gets in the way of my ship” but I’m good at ignoring that. Honestly, I kinda dug her.

4. I was worried about the “ewwwww incest” stuff. But they... actually didn’t do it terribly. Luther and Allison still clearly adore each other. It was referenced a number of times and never as an “ewwww”. I really loved that. There were some gorgeous moments and like, as one of my friends said... It seemed like they were trying to sit neutral on the issue. Which I can understand and respect.

5. I was worried about the Kliego interactions. And yeah, we didn’t really get them. BUT as a writer, I definitely felt I got more sand to play with. I’m already working on at least three new ideas and I haven’t even finished the season yet. Also, I definitely am gonna need more Luego, more Biego, and if I ever stop feeling shy, I’ll probs join Electra-XT and achilleees on their Fiego ship. I’m just realising what the common denominator is here but that’s also not a surprise. Diego is my baby and I ship him with everyone.

Things I wasn’t scared about per se, but was pleasantly surprised about:

Allison and Raymond - I went in a bit cautious because it looked like the Alluther was going to be all EWWWW INCEST. But... god, the love that man had for her... He was just wonderful. It was just beautiful. I really genuinely enjoyed them.

The sit-in etc - I was scared about this one, but not in the same way as I was that Reginald would get a redemption arc. I’m a white person, and I’m not from the US so I cannot comment fully on it, but... it seemed like they tried to do a good job with it. I definitely need to read more about race relations in that time period in particular before I can comment effectively. The police brutality was.... brutal. Heart wrenching. And timely given what we’re seeing in the world right now, and have been seeing for far too long. Defund the goddamn police.

Klaus’ hair and outfits - seems inane compared to the last point.... But like. I thought Robbie looked so incredibly hot all season. I miss his goth aesthetic but... damn. He looked so gooooood.

Diego’s hair and outfits - I expected to hate them more than I did. Apparently my rare sexual attraction to him knows no limits because I was so thirsty watching him. 

Luther - I was so happy that he was so fucking likeable! I have been on the “we do not insult luther hargreeves in this house” team for quite a while, but I felt that Luther really shone this season. My big, soft, idiot, earnest boy...

Elliot - I rather enjoyed him! RIP.

Some things I was less than thrilled about....

The siblings being mean to Diego : ( - The “Klaus Hargreeves Needs a Hug” tag got a beating last season. I swear, if we don’t get 500 “Diego Hargreeves Gets A Hug” fics, I’m gonna write them all my damn self. I’m also not going “uwu my baby had people be mean to him : (((((” but like. No. No, that.... A lot of it kinda really got me down.

The Ben possessing Klaus stuff - Like. I get it. But I just... Klaus might be annoying but he was pretty : ( at being possessed and like... It felt pretty icky to me. Klaus literally said he felt violated. Ben was all “mwahahaha once you sleep I’m gonna take over your body”. I get why Ben was annoyed and why he wanted to. Doesn’t mean I feel nice about that whole... thing.

The Vanya/Sissy thing - I see a lot of sides of the coin here. I have some friends who were thrilled because they love Vanya being a lesbian, and having representation. But I also saw: stereotyping of what A Lesbian Is, pigeonholing Ellen to only play lesbians. Also, like, I went in cautious, but I was just... .....kinda bored with that storyline? And yeah, I would have preferred to just... you know, not have the amnesia. I liked seeing Vanya be happier, sure, but.. IDK it just didn’t make sense to me from a storytelling perspective.

Lila and Diego - Initially, I quite liked her. As a character, I enjoyed her. My ship aside.... Honestly, it makes me a bit *grimacing emoji* to see some of the stuff we saw. Like, I’m far from someone who thinks ships need to be Good and Pure. But at least some of the stuff I saw between them (such as, IDK, drugging... kidnapping... etc) makes it a bit of a nOTP. Not a FULL nOTP, but like... It definitely went from “awww” and “lolll” to “hmmm, not... not sure this particular pairing is for me personally”.

Things I wasn’t scared about but loved:

FIVE - Good god, Aidan has always been an impressive little fucker but he really stepped it up a notch this season. I loved the way he went psycho. I loved the love he always has for his family. I adored his lines. I adored his vulnerability, the little cracks we really got to see. He loves his family so fucking much T.T

DIEGO - They gave David some really, really good stuff to work with this season and he aced it. He was absolutely sensational. I adore this man. AND HIS POWERS. 

KLAUS - Weird thing to be OMG about but... ......I was super there for Robbie’s legs this season... They’re so.. skinny. IDK, it’s weird. But I loved it. I loved his hair. I loved his outfits.

ALLLLLISSONNNNNNN - This woman is perfect. The End.

Misc Thoughts

Damn, given the above, it sounds like I’m all “uwu, all things must be good and pure” and that’s so not my standpoint. But I am team “there needs to be some basic respect both ways”, even for enemies to lovers. So I felt a bit :/ at some of the Horrance stuff and Diego/Lila stuff. Not that I hate them! Just... ....Some of it wasn’t to my taste. But that’s okay, I can ignore a lot of stuff!

I definitely don’t hate the pairings! Rather there were a few things in those pairings that personally didn’t blink as “WHEEEE” for me... But I’ll just ignore those elements and focus on the bits I did like and... YAY!

Overall, honestly, I really loved this season. We needed more Kliego, but I loved the Five and Diego interactions, Diego and Luther... Klaus and Allison... Five and Luther... Just. Just. I was really delighted at so many things we saw.

I thought so many of the interactions just shone. I loved them.

I’ve seen some people be really upset and mad and confused etc, about how the siblings were at the dinner with Reginald. I’ve written my thoughts on it here. TLDR: for someone who has experienced abuse from a parental figure, their responses aligned extremely well with my own experiences. 

NGL, Klaus being all “T.T” about being touched all the time was.... good?? IDK, it gave me Ideas TM.

It’s weird... I thought this was a really Light and Bright season but I also... Know I felt a lot of T.T and hearthurt. In good ways.

There’s another girl there, and the both of you get along really well

Yoosung is so glad to see that you’re having fun at first, but after a while, his inner tsundere kicks in and he becomes a bit sour

Why isn’t she paying that much attention to me? I’m the one she loves after all.

He repeatedly tries to include himself in your conversation, but every time, the girl pushes him back out

Yoosung ends up in the corner of the room, a ball of bitterness, you can practically see the black cloud hovering around him

“Why are you even going out with him? I mean no offense but he seems a bit…possessive,” the girl comments

You see Yoosung flinch a bit, and you open your mouth to retort, but she continues

“So I think it would be a much better idea for you to go out with me.”

Yoosung lets out a hacking cough, having just choked on his own spit

Everyone is staring at you

“Uhh…well…I don’t think I can do that.  You see, Yoosung is the only person I’ll ever love, and although of course he’s not perfect, he’s the right one for me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better boyfriend. I’m sorry.”

She girl puckers her lips and sighs, a bit sad

She nods and continues playing her game, while you sense Yoosung’s eyes boring into your back

You can feel the sparkles in the air before you even turn around to look at his beaming face

You give him a double thumbs up, which he reciprocates with a wide smile

When the session finishes and you return to Yoosung’s apartment, he immediately snuggles you and giggles into your neck

“Hearing you say that about me makes me feel so much better about myself, thank you.”

“Anytime.”

He had just finished performing an amazing show, one that ended in passionate song and tears

You go congratulate him, and you spot one of his co-actresses coming up to you

You’d seen her in several of his plays now, and whenever you two made eye contact, you would feel nervous because her beauty and talent were overwhelming

It almost feels like…a female version of Zen…

So as she makes her way through the crowd, your palms grow a bit clammy, and you’re trying to summon up the courage to say something, anything

Zen obviously takes note of her too, because he quickly clears his throat and opens his mouth  too greet her

But she doesn’t even glance at him. Instead, she grabs your hand, looks deep into your eyes, and said “I seem to have fallen in love with you, fair lady, I would please ask, may I have your hand in marriage?”

Okay yeah it’s definitely a female Zen

Zen glances at you in confusion

But you’re just as bewildered as he is

Meanwhile, the actress is staring back and forth between the two of you, eyes wide

An awkward moment passes before she suddenly lets out a small gasp, covering her mouth with a gloved hand

“Wait you don’t mean to tell me…that you guys are going out?”

Zen is brought back to Earth to reassert his dominance

“Yeah, that’s right,” he says with a proud smile, hooking his arm through yours

“Woe! Woe is me!” she cries out, drawing the attention of several people around you, before skipping off

She melodramatically spins around the stage once and disappears

“I can’t believe…I could have lost you to a woman!” he says as some sort of afterthought

Zen seems to think that now you’re twice at risk of getting ‘snatched away’

So he’ll look threateningly at girls too if they approach you

Zen  I hope you realize you’re scaring away your own fans

Next time you see the actress, she smiles at you and invites you to coffee

she explains that she’ll halt her advances on you, she merely thinks it would be a shame to not have an amazing person like you in her life

Therefore, friends

You two plus Jaehee becomes BFFLS

There’s this one female customer that comes back several times a week

But to be honest, she seems a bit shady

She’ll order, then sit at a table nearby and seemingly observe you work while trying to be sneaky

When you look her way, she’ll pretend to be examining the grains of wood in the table, but as soon as you resume your duties, you just know she’s staring at you again

You talk to Jaehee about it one day

“Yes, I noticed the same thing, and to be honest, I’m feeling uneasy about it. Should we tell her to stop?”

You decide that that would be the best idea

Muttering under her breath, the lady stomps out

“Then, I would like to discuss a business deal regarding MC. I wish her to become mine.”

And thus begins some business debate about your net worth and assets either party would gain should you choose to become her girlfriend

Jumin’s not having any of it though, oh no

He’s mad

How dare someone try to take you away from him?

He gives her a chilling look, warning her to leave, before he whisks you away

As soon as you’re alone again, he holds you close to his body and says

“MC, might you please try to refrain using your powers of seduction on other people? Use them only on me.”

you do just that

You’re at a flower shop for whatever reason with your man, and a small, quiet girl wanders around, rearranging bouquets, creating beautiful displays with a wide array of colourful blossoms
