Ok so I'll attach the picture in question for context 

So, these three are from a story i was brainstorming on and off through most of high school, the premise is basically that they're superhero cats from an underground floating dystopian civilization powered by these magic blue crystals called azari (name comes from some sort of mesh of azure + lazuli i guess??) and there's a lot of  worldbuilding that I probably don't have the space to get into here but basically:

all the cats from this underground place have telekinesis to make up for their lack of opposable thumbs and such. They're kind of a distinct fantasy race from cats; they all have the telekinesis and they all moved underground way back in ancient Egypt times. ...kind of.

some of them have additional superpower abilities on top of that, normally some form of manipulation of matter and/or energy.

Both the telekinesis and these more individual abilities have a connection to the Azarine Crystals, which also do things like power their underground world's artificial weather and sky and they keep buildings afloat in the air and stuff.

So when a bunch of the Azarine crystals that have been around for like ever start to break down everyone (reasonably) starts worrying and some of them (less reasonably) decide that the way to solve this is totalitarianism and war crimes. Also there might've been mind control involved in that somewhere. Idk.

...hopefully that roughly summarizes it enough.

So the main(?) character is Azzie (yellow fur, top right, age 12 and we're just Not Bothering with the difference between cat and human years), she (theoretically) has the power to create Azarine crystals which makes her kinda the "chosen one" for this shortage to a lot of people, the government included, but it doesn't seem to be working. She's very optimistic, a pretty energetic kid, idk.

Prism (light grey fur, bottom center, age 14) is Azzie's older cousin, she has the power to manipulate how light travels. Which is pretty open-ended, it is like... it does take work based on a certain odd form of complexity; Prism can turn herself invisible pretty easily but like making an illusion of something else is a lot harder. She's a bit more... well, paranoid, I guess, except that that's actually pretty justified at the start. But even later on she just generally doesn't trust easily.  

The story starts when Azzie joins Prism in going to the specific middle-school/high-school/superpower-training-place that's required for anyone whose powers are considered "useful" or "important" enough. That's where they meet Sparks (upper left, reddish fur, 13), a mechanics nerd who has the ability to safely create intense heat from her paws. She mostly uses it as a built in soldering iron/welding tool and eventually builds a cool steampunk flying wing suit because reasons. So anyways , Prism eventually finds out and proves "oh hey our government is evil" and using her powers figures out a way to run away and get her and Azzie into the world aboveground, where they run into and join a gang-slash-superhero-team of other Magic Superpower Cats who have escaped, Magic Telekinesis Cats who have escaped, and also some Just Plain Normal Cats who've just. Joined for some reason.

Sparks joins them eventually as well and becomes the epic steampunk pilot but not until after she assumes her friends are dead and goes on an angsty arson arc in which she winds up on the other side of the fight for a while.

A lot more stuff happens but that's a brief overview of these three and some relevant points of their world! ...maybe I'm being generous with the word "brief". Blame the ADHD.

 It's been a while since I've really thought a lot about the plot of that story and world and I forgot how much I enjoyed it, so thanks for the ask!
