I don't like how I came off in my prev post about art discourse in regards to engaging with the news enough, I reread it and in the current situation it's easily read as me critizicing people being vocal about the tragedy going on in Palestine and asking others to educate themselves about it. For the record, I 100% agree with that, us westerners have an obligation to learn about what is and has been going on under our noses, and learn about it. Especially when it comes to how our own countries are reacting to the situation.
